The food is very flavourful, the staff is superfriendly and I've honestly got nothing negative to say about it. I had the onion rings in stout syrup and it was the perfect balance between savoury and tart from the stout. I had the green enchiladas as well and they're hands down the best ones I've ever had. “How an authentic Japanese sushi restaurant came to be right on the edge of Hwy 50 in Polock Pines California is a mystery. But the food was excellent, plentiful, affordable, and well presented on an outside deck overlooking a misty Sierra valley. I'll be back, you should go too.”

“We took our kids, 13 & 4, to The Green Room for Thrash Night on 6/8/24. It was our 4yo first show. Everyone was so nice, and the whole family had a blast. Great music, Great crowd!”

“delightful very small French Bistro. Nice wine list half French and half local wines. extremely cost effective. great service. Note that the have very limited seating 16 at 4 tables and 6 at bar stools plus 4 more outside. Food is excellent. Open for lunch 11 to 2 dinner 4 to 8 Tuesday through Saturday. Get there early or be prepared to wait. No reservations. highly recommended.”

“My husband and I were craving Chinese food so we headed up to Placerville to try the restaurant on Placerville Dr only to find out it was closed due to damage from a car. So we googled other locations close by and ended up at Grand China. We've lived in EDC for years and never knew that it was even there. Since this is on the back side of the shopping center and can be easily missed. I have to say the food was excellent, it was so tasty and light, not greasy at all like many other restaurants! The owner and wait staff were so nice, the atmosphere was great too. The portions were generous and I was actually so happy that we had leftovers to take home and enjoy again.We'll definitely be back to this hidden treasure behind Mickey D's!! ?”

“We had a great visit to this winery. It's situated right off the road and the first thing you see was the dog sculpture.

Our host Mack did an incredible job with our wine tasting for our large group. We were seated outside and he led us through the tasting with funny stories and even brought out other wines for us to try. We learned a lot about the winery and the history of winemaking in Plymouth.
We even tried the wine slushy, which was delicious.

The charcuterie plate that accompanied our wine tasting was delicious and beautifully presented too.

There was only a small bar inside for seating so we were seated outdoors. I wish there were some shade or heat lamps. The big building was closed the day of our visit. There were lots of benches and seating outside but they were unprotected from the sun and wind so we were a bit cold.”

“My favorite winery in the area by a long shot. I love their wines, but the real key here is the people and place. The moment you walk through the door there is a different vibe. This is not a pretentious winery. It is one that you bring large groups to and let everyone enjoy themselves. Every wine tender you may get is easy going and fun to chat with.
The grounds are beautiful and it's easy to get an area to setup with a bottle and hangout outside. I have brought more people to this winery than literally any other and will continue to do so. Could not recommend enough.”

“We enjoyed our lunch today. Nice atmosphere and great service. If I had anything that I would say wasn’t my favorite it would be the beer cheese dip that came with our garlic bread( bread was great). I am Irish and I expected a nice creamy cheddar cheese with a beer influence. Unfortunately, it was so spicy that I couldn’t taste anything but the heat. Maybe they should offer a milder version along with the spicy. Kinda bummed because I wouldn’t order it again. Just an idea.”

“It's amazing how this small kitchen manages to make such delicious meals! My girlfriend and I had the Beef Brisket and the Pulled Pork Tacos with a side of Pingo and absolutely enjoyed our time here!

The beef was my favorite! It was so tender and flavorful and went well with the crispy onions.

The outdoor seating is also just so cute! A perfect first stop in apple hill ?”
