“I first experienced Chef Christian's offerings in 1979 in the Bay Area at L'Escargot - Burlingame, and was so delighted to rediscover Allez in Diamond Springs when we moved to the Foothills some 40 years later in 2019. Wonderful classic French cusine, beautifully executed! And we love their lunch boxes & desserts!”

“Owner was incredibly nice, drinks were delicious and so was the food, with generous servings for the price. Ambiance of the whole shop was cute and clean. Owner went out of his way to be accommodating and was very personable, and everything I ordered was perfect with great boba texture and freshly made food; I'll be back.”

“My husband and I were craving Chinese food so we headed up to Placerville to try the restaurant on Placerville Dr only to find out it was closed due to damage from a car. So we googled other locations close by and ended up at Grand China. We've lived in EDC for years and never knew that it was even there. Since this is on the back side of the shopping center and can be easily missed. I have to say the food was excellent, it was so tasty and light, not greasy at all like many other restaurants! The owner and wait staff were so nice, the atmosphere was great too. The portions were generous and I was actually so happy that we had leftovers to take home and enjoy again.We'll definitely be back to this hidden treasure behind Mickey D's!! ?”

“We had a great visit to this winery. It's situated right off the road and the first thing you see was the dog sculpture.

Our host Mack did an incredible job with our wine tasting for our large group. We were seated outside and he led us through the tasting with funny stories and even brought out other wines for us to try. We learned a lot about the winery and the history of winemaking in Plymouth.
We even tried the wine slushy, which was delicious.

The charcuterie plate that accompanied our wine tasting was delicious and beautifully presented too.

There was only a small bar inside for seating so we were seated outdoors. I wish there were some shade or heat lamps. The big building was closed the day of our visit. There were lots of benches and seating outside but they were unprotected from the sun and wind so we were a bit cold.”

“The food and service was excellent. The decor has a cozy nostalgic feel that’s perfect. The menu is really extensive and there’s something for everyone on it. The prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be going back.
If you’re on your way to Tahoe or coming back from the sierras this is a must stop.
It’s been there since the 1850’s!! The history of this place is as amazing as the food and service.”

If I had anything that I would say wasn’t my favorite it would be the beer cheese dip that came with our garlic bread( bread was great). I am Irish and I expected a nice creamy cheddar cheese with a beer influence. Unfortunately, it was so spicy that I couldn’t taste anything but the heat. Maybe they should offer a milder version along with the spicy. Kinda bummed because I wouldn’t order it again. Just an idea.”

Hayley was so engaging and generous, the newer wines in our tasting were INCREDIBLE (hello, white Barbera!), and the grounds, as always, were beautiful. Go get you some wine here. It's iconic!”
