“This place continues to go downhill in my opinion. We have been going there for years. But the last year we have stopped going much at all because the service is very hit and miss. A few good servers here and there. The food had also started to be not as good. We decided to try it again and for me this is probably the last time. The serving size for the price is pitiful. Especially the ridiculously small kids pizza for $12. It was burnt on the bottom besides. The garden sandwich sounded very good but was pitiful and served on a dry bun. The service was adequate but not friendly. Just disappointing again. This used to be one of my favorite places.“

“PROS: Food was fantastic! We had the chili dog and prime rib sandwich. Onion rings were on point and even my picky eaters couldn't get enough of the potato salad.
CONS: It took 20 minutes to get our order taken after sitting down and another almost hour to get our order. The staff was very nice but if you aren't prepared for an hour and a half plus dining experience this is not the stop to go.
OVERALL: The historical factor with the quality of taste of food makes this a worth while stop on your high country adventure.“

“A definite new favorite breakfast spot. The best pancakes and French toast I've ever had in my life. Hash browns are consistently the perfect ratio of crispy outside to soft potato-y inside. I also appreciate how generous they are with their butter and syrup (a lot of other breakfast diners are pretty stingy with their syrup portions).

I can't rave about the food enough. If you haven't tried this place, you're missing out!“

Great food, excellent service and cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend the strawberry Panna cotta with chocolate mousse for dessert. Great personal service from the owner!! Very friendly. “We went to this place today for the first around lunch time. Took someone a while to greet us and take our order but that's understandable considering it was about 4-5 orders in front of us.... they seemed short staffed. The burgers were great and the fries were hot. I asked for a ranch and was charged $1 per container. I don't understand if someone spends $40 on 2 burgers, 2 drinks, and 1 French fry.... why would they be charged for 1 condiment? I understand that every dollar counts but that's ridiculous. If you have to charge 1$ for the container, maybe you should do smaller servings and give away a courtesy container per customer before charging. This practice alone will drive a potential, repeated costumer away. Not saying I will not return, but I'll think twice.“
