“My friend one of the best bartenders in town has been trying to get me to go down for a drink I finally took her up on her offer .Tonight I went down for a Southern Comfort turns out dive bars dont have fancy crushed ice so I had to get it on the rocks. We both laughed. I walked straight in passed the regular and sat on the 5 bar stool I was very surprised I did not expect to talk to anyone but one woman leaned into my back as she order her patron shot with a beer chaser a few minutes later a woman with her (boyfriend?) Got in my face then said she wanted to buy me another drink.i said thanks but not thanks I have a one drink max.i highly recommend this little dive bar I will go back.“

“This is literally the best bar in LA!! If you’ve ever watched Cheers, Crawford’s is where you go and every body knows your name. The best food, THE BEST SERVICE ❤️❤️, the best pool play in town hands down. Glad there’s no alcohol here so I can stay longer!!“

“One of my favorite dive bars in town. Inexpensive drinks ($11 for my Ford's Gin 'n tonic) and excellent service from the bartenders. On a slow night Justin can easily keep up with drink orders while beating you at darts. Dodgers and Lakers games usually on the TVs. Last call at 1:30 am most nights. There's one scruffy pool table in the bar, one dart board, and the men's room has more graffiti than most men's rooms. It gets packed Thursdays through Saturdays. Plenty of friendly people in the bar. Very diverse crowd. One night as I was walking up, a woman stumbled out and threw up right at the entrance. Everyone just stepped over it to get in. The only thing this place is missing is good bar food, but you're welcome to bring your own. Monty's is next door where you can get a good plant-based burger, or you can go across the street to Carl's Jr and get a Star Burger for half the price. Loads of excellent Korean food nearby. It would be nice if someone opened a taco stand in the parking lot at the corner. No parking, of course, and this part of K-Town can be tough to find a spot. Best to Uber/Lyft anyway. “Haven't been to Gold Room in years, better than I remember it. Small dive bar off Sunset. Bartender Tony was friendly, attentive and quick to take our drink order. His cocktails were very very well made. He takes his time and you can tell enjoys the craft. Tried the Double Trouble and Pineapple Express. Double Trouble is absolutely delicious - 10/10. Pineapple Express was just as good, but def loaded (has mezcal & tequila). It'll have you feeling good real quick. Drink prices are reasonable priced for LA. Same for their daily happy hour menu. Very solid beer menu too. They have a jukebox you can pay to control the music which is kinda cool. Get to hear a variety of music genres cause of it. Solid bar for a quick beer or cocktail.“

“It is a good bar, they have live music on the weekends, a pool table, there are three bars, a bar where you can watch sports, play billiards, and there are other games and popcorn, and in the other room, there are bands and another bar, and you can dance outside. They have some tables for those who want to go out say I like it because I can't stand the smell of ?Parking: There is always space“

Shooting games, old school mario games , dj different themes different day.Open floor plan tables in the sides of walls.Parking street parking nearby if you make it their on time elmwood and rosewood.Spent 1 to 2 hours just felt like a kid again playing games I used to.“

“I visited back in Fall 2023, so while this review is outdated, I remember the experience. If you asked me for a high-end afternoon tea recommendation, this place would be my first inclination. I took my sister here for her birthday in 2023 at $109 per person for afternoon tea; hotel valet was $17. I was pleased with the ambience, aesthetics, and service at this price point. A glass of champagne was included with the tea, strawberries & cream, and food.“

“It’s such a lovely dump LOL! Love going there on Wednesdays for the rib eye steak. I hope they don’t ever remodel or change a thing in there including the ripped up mish mash chairs, wobble tables… it’s our favorite happy little place. “Been here a few times, usually to shoot pool. The cook there is really cool, he said " u hungry? How about some Ensenada style fish taco's?"The fish was fresh, and crispy. Huge portions. The salsa was bomb, spicy. Super legit tacos, and I'm a classicly french trained chef, 20 yrs in the best resorts and restaurants in Los Angeles/Orange County. “This was the first place I came once I hit my grand 21. I absolutely love it. Diana is a sweetheart, she treats you like family, I've been coming here almost a year now. I'm on a first name basis with most of the bartenders, they're all great, I absolutely feel welcomed and valued here. I try to come here at least once a month, I love the ambiance here. The patrons here are always friendly and welcoming ❤ They're the best of the best here. 10/10 recommend. “Ive been to many beer bars in my time and hands down this place i've never encountered such an attentive friendly bartender while surrounded by great patrons alike. Alley or I think her name may be Alicia. Literally the moment your beer is running low its instantly noticed. Her attention to customer needs is above and beyond what you'd expect at a bar like this. “Decent venue, nothing fancy, but is affordable, sometimes you can snag a spot on the street near by, they have cool acts and events. I am surprised I never reviewed it since I have been going to the Echo for over 10 years for concerts, NYE parties and always had a good time. The crowd is OK, bathrooms clean enough, drinks are reasonably priced. I like their DJ-s and their sets, really fun and gets you on that dance floor. I prefer small venues like the Echo, more intimate, with more character, edgier! Keep your eyes on their Events calendar!“

Everyone, & I mean, everyone in the bar was jamming & dancing. The pool players were two stepping, the bartender was twerking it out, and the people at the bar were on their feet swaying to the beats.The man supplying the rhythms this night was DJ Believethat. He mixed in all the late night heaters & floor fillers. I definitely remember the bar crowd switching on to full dance party mode when DJ Believethat dropped "Candy Rain." DJ Believethat even left the decks to share in the fancy footwork.I got around to having a beer. I must admit it tasted like a beer. It was cold. I found the beer added to the overall levity of the evening. Others were throwing down shots now & then. Anyone who sets foot in the Crow's Nest on a Thursday will definitely get lifted, but hey that's levitation, Holmes.“

“What happened to Steve the fur baby was not condoned by the staff or owners. Its dog friendly, a great hangout. We love seeing Steve behind the bar he's just a good boy that trust's humans because he is so loved. The bar has awesome themed nights and the best micheladas! “The Anarchy Library has been on my list for a long time. It's one of those places that everyone says you should check out. I finally had a chance to go this past Friday. It was so much fun! The DJ played '80s, darkwave, new wave, rock en Español, and 2000s indie hits like "Deceptacon" by Le Tigre and "12:51" by The Strokes. Solid playlist. There is a $5 cash cover on Fridays and Saturdays. Bring cash! Import beers like Stella and Modelo are $6. Anarchy Library has a dive bar feel which I loved. I didn't think it was "dirty," I thought it was unique. It reminds me of the rocker divey bars in Austin, TX. Lots of rock and punk posters on the walls. The dancefloor is small, but it worked. The crowd was really vibing with each other. I would say the age range was about 21-45 or so. You won't feel too old or too young coming here which is amazing. That is a big reason for the 5 stars. This is one of the best crowds I've danced with in a long time. Even though we were strangers, we felt a connection with each other. That's good stuff. Dancing in the post "me too" movement hits different. None of the guys were aggressive or trying to hit on us. I felt they read the room and didn't try to talk to us unless we talked to them first. I could just enjoy catching up with my girlfriends without being bothered. I will be coming back often. I had a great time here!“

“Been here only a few times and already treated like a regular. Great bartenders (Alena especially!) they’ll even come up to you and take your drink orders when you’re playing pool, and drinks are well priced. The owner is a very nice and chill guy also, no complaints here! They have two pool tables, $1 games.“

“I been here a few times whenever I was around the area. It's a really cool spot with ice cold beers, variety of TV's, and pool tables. I have yet to try the food. The bartender Kylie is really awesome and great hospitality. Plus the locals are friendly. Just a really chill spot to catch a game and have a cold beer.I recently found out Kylie quit and not throwing shade to the other and new bartenders. Kylie has a huge fan base only because she can talk to so many guys and be engaged. For myself I was lucky to invite for her lunch because she is smart. I only came for her and I know she has a bf. “Came to Long Beach for work and found Red Dog. All the bartenders are excellent, friendly and a blast to be around!!! Great hole in the wall little bar with chill Ass locals. “They need more drinks selection I’m not in to beer but more fruity drinks or wine and don’t forget a snack not a big menu i think little sample things like chips or pretzel nachos hotdogs nothing crazy will be great other than that small cozy also more sitting will be great also the staff very friendly and always checking if you need anything“
