“It's a comfortable place where you can enjoy beer and various snacks with friends.Parking is not easy on Friday nights. However, they provide validation, so parking is available at a low price. The owner is friendly, and if you come before busy hours, you'll receive excellent service.“
“Local pub in the Wrigley. They have a juke box! PBS Pub and Co have been here forever, we found it yesterday. Enjoyed a german Pils. Nice. Food is available as small bites and very tasty. It is a place from the past, good times, good place.“
“Our party of five had a great meal at the Eldo! Everything was cooked perfectly, and tasted wonderful. (We ordered the fish and chips, lamb shank, chicken pot pie and the ox bbq chicken salad.) We were seated after a very short wait for our 6:30 reservation. Service was top notch and very patient with a high maintenance member of our party!“
“Amazing service, good prices, good drinks... Even better staff! I forgot my phone and the bartender, Daniel, was waiting outside with my phone for me as I was running back from a couple blocks over. I just wanted to express gratitude for this bar for hiring good people who actually care about their visitors.“
“Saturday 12:00am (late-night out)Parking/Wait: There is a free small parking lot with a few spots in front of the place. Party of 5 was seated right away.Food/Drinks: Ordered a few dishes as well as drinks. Honey Butter "fries" (3.5/5) were really potatoe chips and nothing special. Budae jjigae (4/5) was a good size and fairly spicy. The fried squid (4.5/5) was the best dish we ordered. Long strands of tender deep-fried squid which were seasoned nicely. Expected calamari but was nicely surprised. They have some bottled beer (no draft options) that we ordered.Ambiance/Service: Cute interior with nice wooden table areas for each party. Not sure if this place is suitable for larger parties of more than six (did not see any larger tables). Service was great, didn't have to wait long for anything.Summary: Nice little place in K-Town with decent food options for late night munchies. Wish they had draft beer. They close late at 2am.“
“If you're looking for a bar that serves vegan food, this is the spot. TV's on the wall, music blasting through the speakers, dim lighting, high tables, booth against the walls, security at the front door, and good-tasting food. Great hang-out spot for a friend's meet-up, but not so much for young children.Vegetarian options: Vegan and non-vegan options“
“The food was really good and our waiter was very kind and attentive. It was a really busy night when we arrived but we were able to be seated quickly. Our order came out quickly but there was a delay in my drink. Once it came out the waiter let me know it was on the house since I had to wait a while to receive it. It was still delicious.“
“Update, came to try their version of rosé tteokbokki because I'm all about that these days. Lol. My son also got the katsu curry. First of all the tteokbokki. It was pretty good. Could maybe use a touch more cream, but otherwise was very good. I finished the whole thing and was very full. There was the usual suspects, rice cakes, fish cakes, cabbage, and some kind of broad glass noodle? I've never seen that before and I thought maybe some plastic or something might have fallen in by accident but it was clearly meant to be part of the dish. I didn't hate it. The chicken katsu was excellent. Breading was good and proper and the meat was moist and tender. The katsu curry was well plated. Curry sauce was much better than before. Thicker and not as runny. Flavor was good too. The arugula salad was delicious and a good punchy, fresh element to cut the richness of the curry. I like the pickled radish but I also would have liked the regular radish kimchi in addition but they didn't provide it. All in all, totally satisfying and the girl who helped us was nice too. I will definitely be returning.“
“a tavern themed Korean restaurant that has some really excellent crafted drinks you should try. I recommend the yuzu mojito and the miss Korea. They also specialize in Korean Italian fusion dishes like their variety of pastas. I got their crab and seafood pasta and omg it was SO garlicky. Every bite was full of flavor and the pasta was al dente. Their yuzu brisket salad was also tasty and interesting but I would put the dressing on the side. I also got their oven roasted pork belly which I thought fell short. The pork wasn’t too tender and lacked flavor without the soy sauce it would have been too bland. Let me know what you guys think!“
“Absolutely great location, great service from the server who guided me through the menu for the first time she was great! I ate there and ordered out for the fam, we love the onion rings lolParking: Parking is great I really like the open spacious parking, it'll get packed at some point but it isbare able.“
“R bar is definitely one of those bars where you can come in relax and grab a drink by yourself or friends. Almost all the bartenders and bouncers are really nice and chill. It's very dark inside but it has plenty of seating available. This is my neighborhood bar and I enjoy coming here for happy hour. Their well drinks is only 9$ during happy hour and they're pretty strong!“
“My friend one of the best bartenders in town has been trying to get me to go down for a drink I finally took her up on her offer .Tonight I went down for a Southern Comfort turns out dive bars dont have fancy crushed ice so I had to get it on the rocks. We both laughed. I walked straight in passed the regular and sat on the 5 bar stool I was very surprised I did not expect to talk to anyone but one woman leaned into my back as she order her patron shot with a beer chaser a few minutes later a woman with her (boyfriend?) Got in my face then said she wanted to buy me another drink.i said thanks but not thanks I have a one drink max.i highly recommend this little dive bar I will go back.“
