“The pink pancakes, huevos rancheros and chiliques were outstanding. Loved the food. The place is in an odd location: industrial fruit packing district in a weird parking lot. We didn’t think we were at the right place because of all the fork lifts. Server was lovely. It’s not the best atmosphere for breakfast but the food was good.“

“This place was recommended to me by a coworker and I decided to give it a shot after work. Upon arrival, I was greeted by one of their friendly and welcoming staffs, it was early so it was not too packed. Their menu is simple and straightforward, I was really hungry at the time. Everything is made to order which I did not mind the wait since I’m a very patient person. A lot of locals come to this place which is a good sign and they have been in business for over 30 years which is rare nowadays for classic joints like this one. Also they open 6 days a week from 0700 hours to 1430 hours and closed on Tuesdays. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great place for breakfast or just a laid back spot. I definitely will be back to try out the different items they have to offer.“

“I can’t say enough on how much my teen daughter loves coming to this iHop, when I have to work in this area. My first experience here at this iHop was about a year ago and I swore I would never come back due to a very rude waitress who was so dismissive and gross (rolling her eyes, speaking over me when I would speak, dirty flatware and never came back to check in on us).

But that all changed when I had a late working meeting and my daughter wanted breakfast food so I said “well let’s try this iHop again because it’s open late.” Well I’m glad we did. This time we had an amazing waitress by the name of Patricia or Patty I believe. She was so amazing and friendly. She made my daughter laugh and smile which was amazing because my daughter was having a bad day. This woman really left an impression on my kid and that meant the world to me more than she knows. The food is so so and the dining atmosphere is pretty nice. Again thanks for the great customer service Patty and we will come back again due to you turning our experience around into a great one.🤗“

The scramble was delicious, the Dutch baby was decadent, the shakshuka was really good but watch out for the whole peppercorns. Highly recommend the jet pilot drink. It was phenomenal! “Small latin eatery between 23rd and 24th Mission street. Metered parking or hourly parking in nearby neighborhood. Very casual and friendly environment and staff. Freshly made food and freshly squeezed orange juice! I ordered the "Central American Special". It had fried plantains(sweet tasting flavor), fried cheese, eggs, toast, rice and beans and Bacon. The dish itself tasted great all around, would recommend. I also ordered a side of Garlic bread (did not have any taste of garlic this time though).“

My dish came with three eggs almost a whole avocado, the beans, potatoes, tortillas and a heaping pile of bacon! My Husbands meat lover platter was just as a large a portion and he barely finished it all so he had no room to finish my plate as his usual.“

“After a visit to the De Young Museum in Golden Gate Park we were seeking a casual lunch spot. We drove the short distance to Velo Rouge Care close by, just a block off Fulton Street (on McCallister Street). We entered the small-ish shop and read the menu (on the wall). There are painting and pictures of bicycles throughout the cafe. - other patrons were there enjoying a hot beverage or a bite to eat.

My wife ordered the Eggs Benedict - traditional but with Acadaco, served with house potatoes (or a green salad). I went with the Coppi Turkey Sandwich. In a short period of time the server brought the food to us as we sat on a bar facing the street. My sandwich was tasty - Turkey with Jack Cheese, Cranberry Sauce and Spinach. It was served with a substantial side salad (which was enough for a meal, honestly). Both of us enjoyed our meal and said we would definitely return here. Prices were reasonable for The City and its location is close enough to Golden Gate Park. We did find parking just across from the Cafe on McCallister. They’re open for breakfast and lunch only (closing at 2 or 3PM).“
