“We stopped here while waiting to catch our flight because we had a while. It was super chill and a fun place. They had old pinball machines that we played and the ambiance was very cool and relaxed. Food was so yummy. Got the flatbread pizza and some fries to share. Very satisfied.“

“Beer: Excellent beers in the “light & easy drinking” category. I had a 5oz of the Italian Pilsner, West coast Pilsner, and Cherry sour. All three were excellent beers. Beers are available in 16oz, 12oz, and 5oz pours.Ambiance: multiple TV’s with the warriors game and other local sports were on. Great side patio for the dogs. Plenty of room for about 12 other patrons to spread out.Service: the Beer-tender Jay was amazing. He explained which beers were available and grabbed water bowls for our dogs. He was a class act and yet another reason why we will be back soon to try all of the beers.“

“Such a cool spot! The dude bartender with long hair was super friendly and poured a delicious helles lager and i got a pretzel dog, which was a beautiful pairing. A guitarist was doing some slide guitar.

The light lager is what brought me here in the first place. The spot was nice and packed. Def coming back!“

“A pretty great brewery all around from the atmosphere to the beer.

They have a huge section of beer including a bunch of non alcoholic options which is great for so many people. I ended up getting the double hazy and it was a solid one: Fruity, juicy and a little funky which I like.

There is plenty of seating but it fills up fast with how popular it is. Some of the spots are even couches but most are wood tables that extends to their outdoor area as well. There is a bunch of games from shuffleboard to pinball. The outdoor area isn't very big but has food trucks usually which is always a bonus.

Parking can usually be found at the top of the hill where we saw tones of open spots. As far as San fransisco goes that's a rarely. Just make sure you are ready for a workout up you take that way though.

Still a great selection of beers and very relaxing atmosphere on a Tuesday evening. They've got some very interesting beers on rotation right now. Would definitely recommend trying out the peanut butter and jelly beer!

That said, the star of the show is this crazy-eyed gnome that sat opposite of me at the bar. His gaze is mesmerizing.“

“First time, had the umaminous pizza and the tira'miso'.

I love how unique the dough was! It was so fluffy and light which felt well balanced with the toppings. I loved all the textures involved, the crunchy cheesy crust was a nice touch. You get the signature brownie edges but it's with cheese. Total winner. Ill come back for more and try their flatter pizzas to see if my rating changes.

Tira'miso' was a great spin off a tiramisu. It could use more coffee or something to make the cake more moist. Otherwise, the flavors were yummy. I like the salty sweet sauce.

“Faction Brewing is a wonderful, local brewery! On a perfect day, enjoy a beer or cider on their patio overlooking the San Francisco Bay and city skyline. Catch it on a gloomier day and you can still enjoy a crafted beverage in their large indoor spaces. We host our annual donation drive here in the spring and the staff is always so fantastic. “Great beer and wonderful staff. One of the best games to play is when you're in the bathroom and there happens to be someone in the stall keeping really quiet until you leave. When you've done you're thing and you're on your way out pretend to leave. Open the door and close it again. That person in the stall will think you've left and they'll let it rip. Most people will have been holding it back, probably gripping the sides of the toilet, waiting for you to leave and when its released it'll make a hell of a noise. You can then laugh all the way back to your beer knowing that you caught them at their most vulnerable. Sometimes I just make the fart noise and then leave. It's up to you how you play it.“

“My friends and I stumbled on this little gem and loved it. The Local Honey beer was divine - not sweet, but vegetal, earthy - and the mulled wine was the perfect mix of spices for a wintery night. Empanadas were on point for a late night snack. Lastly, the bartender was so nice and very knowledgeable about all the drinks, he even offered us samples of beers he thought we might like. They make beer AND wine which is not something you see often!“

“This restaurant is located in the Harvey Milk Terminal 1. So, at SFO if you’re about to retrieve your bags from an inbound flight on Delta and you’d like to try Drake’s Flyaway, turn left. You’ll find many nice new venues.
I decided to dine at Drake’s Flyaway and I’m glad I did. For an airport restaurant, it’s simply fantastic. You’ll find it a tad on the pricey side, but you’re not gonna eat here every day. If you choose to eat here I do recommend the potato leek soup as a side dish.“
