“I’m a huge fan of dirty chai lattes and I’m always searching for who has the best. The dirty chai at Antigua is definitely near the top of the list for me. Not too sweet and not too spicy which is the way I like them. Will def be back for the chai. Pastries were also delicious. Haven’t tried the food yet but looks like it would be amazing.“

“We went to this place for breakfast this morning. The first thing we’ve noticed is that the coffee wasn’t really that good. It has a little bit of a bitter sour taste so I would suggest they maybe think of switching the beans to something well roasted. The buckwheat pancakes were actually quite good and were a hit among the guests. Only half of us were happy with their food. My omelette was actually good but the Mingus was not to our liking.
The Service could have been more attentive to our order as we have emphasized that we want eggs well done and they came out really runny. They have a 2% surcharge on the card payment, so bring cash.“

“This place was recommended to me by a coworker and I decided to give it a shot after work. Upon arrival, I was greeted by one of their friendly and welcoming staffs, it was early so it was not too packed. Their menu is simple and straightforward, I was really hungry at the time. Everything is made to order which I did not mind the wait since I’m a very patient person. A lot of locals come to this place which is a good sign and they have been in business for over 30 years which is rare nowadays for classic joints like this one. Also they open 6 days a week from 0700 hours to 1430 hours and closed on Tuesdays. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great place for breakfast or just a laid back spot. I definitely will be back to try out the different items they have to offer.“

“The food here is good and so is the coffee. They offer açaí bowls, breakfast options, and a bakery that is completely Brazilian. So if you’re Latino and want to try something different from the usual spots, this is a great choice. The dishes are very healthy and while this location doesn’t have an espresso machine, so coffee options are somewhat limited, what they do have is tasty.
If you’re planning to order by phone, make sure to call ahead as it can get pretty busy and your order might take a while. Overall, it’s a good café, affordable, flavorful, and a nice break from the typical spots. If you’re in the mood for something non-traditional, give it a try.“

“Had a wide selection of different things for anyone's palate. The people behind the counter were lovely. The food was fresh and wrapped so well it stayed warm even after waiting for the shuttle for almost forty minutes. The man behind the counter was so welcoming and helped me find my way to the shuttle stop when I was beyond lost. Overall 100/10 service. If I ever come back to South San Francisco this will be on my list of stops.“
“Great place to have lunch. I especially like to order the Curry chicken. It is the best in town! Try it and you won't be disappointed!“

“I've been staying and working in South San Francisco this week without a car. Have dined there for lunch 2 days in a row now, and both days I also brought back dinner to my hotel for the evening. Everything has been delicious with fresh ingredients. Really creative and elevated offerings for a quick service restaurant. The salmon was especially amazing! I had 2 really dismal experiences earlier in the week with Doordash and only wish I had tried Foundry & Lux sooner. I'll be back tomorrow before heading back home on Saturday 😀“

“Good for a quick bite. I like the local feel of the place but it can get very crowded, especially on the weekends so I'm glad for the outdoor tables. I like to stop by when I'm going to hang out near Ocean Beach. The food is tasty!“

“Pain au chocolat was phenomenal. Canele was mediocre. I had high expectations for a French bakery. Seasonal croissant seemed to be a berry crumble type double baked croissant. Tasty and fresh! Went on a weekday morning with no plans so the casual atmosphere and no line was nice and relaxing.
Their pate en croute assortment looked like art. Would’ve loved to try but hopefully another time.“

“Solid burrito, nothing special. I had the OG, I felt it lacked a distinct flavor. The tots are a great addition. If you live in the area, definitely a place to check out, but not worth it to travel to and wait in the 30+ min line that is there at 1030am“

“One65 was an amazing discovery on our trip to San Francisco. Having spent the first half of our life in Montréal, Québec, Canada where it was hard to find a bad restaurant, we were absolutely amazed by this Bistro which looks more like a high end dining experience. The menu online & the photos attracted us to this location but we were amazed by the well timed service, the crisp white tablecloths, the table setting and the pleasant and calm atmosphere. My choices of charcuterie platter was perfectly sized; the chicken & the pork rillettes where a wonderful surprise. My husband had an onion tart with the crust as perfect as they get & which I envied. He loved his halibut, moist and tender and I raved over my grilled half lobster, so tender that I found myself munching on the shell parts as well. My bread pudding was not of overwhelming size & perfectly flavored. Don chose the Affogato (scoop of vanilla gelato « drowned » with a shot of hot espresso). We wanted to go back today but they are closed on Sundays.?“

“The menu is very small and I myself did not like the bowl at all but I could see that it probably is just not my thing. It had a strong nuttiness but was also fairly spicy. I skipped the egg cause they can’t boil it hard - only “jammy.”“

“Happened upon this space while on a puzzle hunt-walkabout thing. The breakfast sandwiches are killer, they have SO MANY kinds of Haribo gummy candy, and the folks are sweet as can be. There was not much room to sit as they were doing a little renovation work when we were there, but I’ll say it again, awesome breakfast sandwich!“

“🤯 Biscuits are better than Khanfectionary in the Mission. The jalapeño biscuit for the breakfast sandwich was delicious and comes with a nice arugula side salad.
🥚 We also had the huevos on crispy little tortillas. Very good, especially with the chipotle sauce on the side.
☕️ pour over coffe was also lovely
🥰 the owner stopped by our table to check on us and she is a delight. She spent about a decade in Berlin, Germany, and brings some international flair to the café menu, ambience, and playlist.
🤤 the everything biscuit, the apple pie biscuit, and the Matcha strawberry biscuit are also worth trying. I personally like the everything biscuit the best, but if you want something a bit more sweet go for the 🍎apple pie biscuit, and if you want a lot more sweet (think bear claw level sweet) then go for the Matcha strawberry option. You better grab a coffee with that one though ‘cause it is SWEET.
🛋️ the place has eclectic seating, with a couple of couches a few two top tables and a few four top tables. Great to pop in on your own, or with a few friends.“

“tl;dr: Hearty, classic diner brunch with a corned beef hash Benedict worth daydreaming about. Service can lag when it's busy, and the restrooms need some TLC, but the vintage charm and flavor-packed plates make it a satisfying stop for a leisurely weekend morning.
If you are craving a no-frills American diner breakfast elevated just enough to make it memorable, Pork Store Cafe delivers. The corned beef hash Benedict is a flavor bomb with perfectly poached eggs over savory, crispy-edged hash, smothered in rich hollandaise. Portions are generous without being overwhelming. Service is warm but slow, especially when the place is buzzing, so this is better for a relaxed morning than a quick bite. Atmosphere is pure diner nostalgia with vinyl booths, laminated menus, and the comforting clatter from the kitchen. The restrooms could be cleaner and more accessible, but overall, it is a fun and delicious brunch spot for those who appreciate a classic American breakfast experience.“

“Delicious sandwiches and great coffee!
I stopped by Stable Cafe while visiting San Francisco and was seriously impressed. I had the Turkey Avocado sandwich — fresh, flavorful, and definitely a must try. The coffee was also excellent, rich and smooth. The space is cozy and the staff were welcoming. Not sure when I’ll be back in the city, but this spot was a highlight of my trip.
Make sure to try the toast and plum jam. The jam is made from the trees in their garden, such a special touch and absolutely delicious.“

“This place has always been amazing! The Vietnamese sandwiches, turkey sandwiches, and beverages are always splendid. The staff is friendly. There's frequently a nice place to sit either inside or outside. Love taking their sandwiches to go as well! Highly recommend, it's a place I bring my friends to!“
“Stopped in for coffee, a very kind gentleman agreed to sit with my 11.5 month old Golden Retriever outside. Nice woman behind counter said my dog was welcomed in, my dog doesn't have enough manners to go inside, yet!
Ordered an Americano, kind woman asked if I'd like an ice cube in coffee, as it was way too hot to drink. Glad she was thinking as it was perfect!! Still hot, love LOVE my HOT black coffee. Without the 1 ice cube, I would have to wait for caffeine consumption!
The other woman behind the counter was making a beautiful bowl.. not sure what it was but it looked delicious!!!! Going back this week to try !!!
The gentleman that sat with my dog volunteers with human society and he educated me on the correct walking leash for my dog and informed me of puppy classes!! Super grateful, as I just moved from Detroit!
Great restaurant to stumble upon! Highly recommend!“

“Small breakfast spot with great food at a really good price and it is open on Sundays. We tried three different breakfast places during our stay but this one was the only open on Sunday. Food was great, price very good, just that there is barely any space to sit. So we had a table outside.“

“I definitely recommend this place because of the great original taste and quality of the tatar national cusine!
I'm originally from Kazan, Tartarstan Republic, and the the food serving here, remind me about my homeland and my grandmother's home-made pastries. 😌💛
Don't pass and check AyDea's amazing ochpochmak serving with broth and salad; pelmeni, and herbal tea! We'll definitely taste other delicious tatar food here next time!
Thank you for the warm welcoming us here and your care about guests by the people who work here and who appreciate snd love Tatar cuisine and culture.❤️
*Children tatar books were a special surprise to remember reading on tatar language!
🅿️ We found 2 city public parkings marked with blue signs on the street: on the same intersection and 3 block away, cheap and close to the cafe.“

“The egg tarts here are smooth, creamy, and reasonably priced! Coffee comes as a dark roast, strongly flavored if you're into that. My Chinese parents have much good to say about the fundamental baked goods, the egg tarts, pineapple buns, and cocktail buns.“

“Charming addition to the neighborhood! My parents stopped in when they visited and couldn’t stop raving about the Turkish coffee.
I came planning to order that too, but instead went with the Finjan Qahwa and walnut baklava. Incredible. The baklava was perfectly flaky and just the right amount of sweet. The Finjan Qahwa stole the show. It came in the cutest little vessel and was unlike any coffee I’ve had. I usually need a splash of milk and a bit of sweetener, but this needed neither. The cardamom was present without overpowering, smooth without bitterness.
This isn’t a grab-and-go coffee stop. Come here to sit, order drinks and pastries, and settle in with a book, a game, or good conversation. It’s also open late, which is rare in SF.“

“This small cafe works hard to accommodate the morning rush everyday, and it’s common sense to walk in and order. Amazing price on a LARGE latte $5 The food is classic breakfast fare, I love the ham egg and cheese croissant and the tuna sandwich on sourdough. The people working are not responsible for telling customers that they can order, in case anyone had any complaints. These are lovely people and they deserve respect. They are so kind and reasonable, I recommend this place and it’s so good that mornings get really busy so be prepared to wait if it is, they work as fast as they can. If you see them busy and there were people in front of you, it might take longer than 2 minutes. MOST places in SF do, it’s not New York lol.“

“Wow, don't miss this unassuming little gem. The veggie burger 🍔 was superb and he was happy to make it a lettuce wrap. Wifi too! I'd go out of my way to come here again - note that you have to go into the large building to see the entrance. My small complaint is that my cappuccino defaulted to a paper cup for my in house order, but I'll just specify next time. Highly recommended.“

“The food, AMAZING. The Nutella crepe was really light and fluffy tasting and I wouldn’t consider it as an overpowering sweetness. The decor was really cute really gave a vintage vibe. The wait was kind of long (15-20 min)but not really considering there were two workers. (I think everyone was talking about 1 person cooking all the food and 1 person serving the food and helping out in the kitchen, and yes the cook is really old, very impressive)“

“Fiero Cafe is truly a hidden gem in San Mateo! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the passion and authenticity behind everything they do. Filippo Guarino, the owner, pours his heart into every dish, and it shows. His handcrafted Italian food is nothing short of extraordinary, fresh ingredients, rich flavors, and the kind of attention to detail you only find in true Italian cooking.
I tried the catzo sandwich, and it was fantastic, perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious. On top of the food, Filippo makes you feel like family, welcoming you with warmth and genuine hospitality.
If you’re looking for an authentic Italian dining experience in the Bay Area, Fiero Cafe is a must. Do yourself a favor and go, you’ll leave planning your next visit before you even walk out the door.“
