“The food here was absolutely amazing , I have never had Cambodian pho till now. It’s very different from the usual Vietnamese pho that we all know of. The Cambodian pho is a lot more meaty , the broth was so clean and everything about it was just so heavenly. The ribs is huge and melts in your mouth due to the slow cooking process. I was visiting San Diego and have came to Phonomenal 3 times already. I genuinely can’t get enough of it. The owners was really chill and down to earth. They were really welcoming. If you want some good Cambodian pho this would be a place to go.“

“I recently visited a new restaurant and was impressed with the excellent service provided by the attentive staff. They had an extensive menu with a lot of food options that I wasn't familiar with. After some consideration, I decided to try the beef noodle soup and JCK pork dumplings, and I was delighted to find that they were delicious. I am definitely planning to return to this restaurant in the future.“

“I walked in here on my birthday on my way to the zoo, but when I walked in the aroma of the food ? made me sit down on the spot. Once I looked at the menu and seen shaken beef it was over for me AND they have Mexican Coke too!!! One of the nice ladies recommended their wings and asked if I liked spice I said yes and she took care of it from there. I also noticed they have blended Vietnamese coffee ?so that actually has been keeping me coming back at least once a week. Now I just call my order ahead when I leave work from the Scripps Ranch area and swing by and pick it up on my way home.“

“So pleasantly surprised by this place! We got the both XLB flavors, a couple of the dumplings, orange chicken and chicken chow mein. The noodles in the chow mein were slightly overcooked but that didn't take away from the flavor. All the dumplings were delicious and the orange chicken was some of the best I've had. Crispy and sweet but not overly sweet. We have picky kids and all of them devoured the food. Prices were fair and we are looking forward to returning! Service was great, waitstaff were nice and food came out quick!“

“Another great Thai food place in Santee fast friendly service and great food! Check your spice level, level 5 is really spicy if you’re a “Pepper Head” it’s perfect. Try level 2 or 3 my daughter thought it was perfect. You gotta try the curry puffs there you will LOVE them !“

“Our go-to place with friends and family. They have a lot of good dishes for everyone and can accommodate large groups. My little one loves the calamari appetizer, my other child always gets the Pho and my favorite dish is the vermicelli bowls. The staff is super friendly. It's the perfect spot for a casual and enjoyable meal.“

“National City & the South Bay area are quickly becoming a foodie paradise. This place is new to me but I really liked their menu options. We had a unique Sushi n Gone roll, some delicious soup & a nice side salad. Come early because parking is limited during peak hours. Family friendly tho they do serve beer. Great staff.“

“Excellent service! The food was very fresh and tasty. The drinks (iced coffee and coconut water) were also delicious. They have whole coconuts as well! I ordered a to-go order that was very quick and still incredibly good after getting it home. The shrimp in the shrimp vermicelli was very flavorful and sauteed in a sauce, not just regular cooked shrimp. Very tasty with fresh mint, Lettuce, and sprouts. I really liked the steamed veggies as well, I added a little salt to taste but they were very fresh and a great mix of veggies. The chicken and steamed rice was also good. The prices were very reasonable too!“

“One of the best tasting pho in National City, The pho was packaged very well. It was prepared in a bowl with noodles and protein, and the soup was packaged separately from the container. Overall, it was very thought out. I would recommend dining in and / or take out.“

“Delicious! We got the dumpling and wonton egg noodle soup, the combo egg noodle soup (#27), veggie egg rolls, and fried dough ("donuts"). The donuts were warm, nice and crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. Egg noodles were delicious and broth for both our soups were excellent.“

“Despite shortage of staff, these family owners/cook/server have been so kind to feed my family with authentic Khmer/Angkorian dishes which I used to travel to Long Beach to obtain/enjoy! I like to continue to support such family who was forced to come to America, like my family, due to unfinished Nixon's war since 1969. God bless them!“

“Only thing, when you walk in it seems like a sewer pipe is burst so not a fun time breathing it in.Food was good though. Hopefully that smell issue is fixed soon. Don't worry, you'll start to not notice it after a few minutes but you'll know it's there “

“So good we had to go two Saturdays in a row! Ordered pad Thai, pad see ew, Thai Basil, Panang Curry, & all of it phenomenal. Best Thai flavors we have had I think. We got it to-go and the gentleman kindly brought it over before I was fully out of the car. Everything hot and fresh. Spice level is high so maybe go down a number or two from your usual spice level ?“

“I really enjoyed my experience at Loft 94. It's a great spot in Jamul Casino to get some delicious food. The service there was pretty good. It wasn't too busy because we went on a Tuesday night. Unfortunately it was already dark by the time we got in, but I'm sure the views during sunset would be amazing. The terrace was beautiful with large fire pits, heaters, and comfy couches. The food was great. I ordered the Mazeman Ramen with Pork Belly. We also had the Ouchi Eggs (SO GOOD), the wings, and Shishido peppers. The ramen was good, nothing very unique, but a solid choice. The pork belly was juicy and real fatty. The wings were pretty good and worth ordering as an appetizer. The drinks we ordered from the bar were not the greatest, but cheaper than if you ordered at the bar down in the casino.“

“I love Pho. I base the majority of opinion on the strength of the flavor of their soup. The stronger the flavor the less they rushed it when cooking it earlier. The portion was exactly like I like, not too much but definitely not too little. Ingredients were all good except the mint leaves look like there were used. Leaves were ripped in half and looked like it was picked on. Not saying it was but it had that appearance and they should know better. I had mine to go and it was wrapped up so I didn’t look inside. They gave out packets of the hoisin sauce and a packet of fake sriracha 1 each…that equals a loss of a star or it’s 5 easy.“

“Good food, great service. Nice big restaurant with lots of tables/seating. We stopped in after one of our morning soccer games at Southwestern College. I had the veggie pho as it was during lent. The broth was very flavorful. My daughter and husband said the garlic wings and regular pho were delicious as well. The menu is pretty extensive, so I'm sure there's something for everyone if you're not in the mood for soup. It's in a big plaza, so there's plenty of parking.“

“Pick up Order:Staff was friendly upon pick-up. Staff also read the special instructions note and granted my request asking for pepper that I could add to my Hong Kong Noodles.Best Asian fusion place I've been to. Loved the notable Southeast Asian notes with popular East Asian Dishes. Will have to try more of the menu to find more Asian influences!Food: As a Lao gal, I loved everything!!Hong Kong Style Noodles: Broth was so I good I had to take a second sip to make sure I tasted it right. The Cha Shu Pork was absolutely amazing! I usually don't like that style of pork because of the texture I usually find in ramen, but this Cha Shu Pork was SO SO SO flavorful and cooked to perfection that it just melted in my mouth. It must've been basted over flame because the flavor was present throughout the pieces (4) and it has a yummy sweet, charred umami flavor.Szechuan Spicy Chicken Wontons: ACTUALLY spicy and were yummy and filling. New kind of wrap for me (thin and silky) but still delicious.Satay Chicken: I smelled the satay chicken the moment I got back in my car. I had to fight myself from digging into the bottom of the bag and taking a bite right then and there. They wrapped it in foil so it was still warm and flavorful when I got home.Beer: Learning to like beer, but the TOM YUM BEER American Wheat Beer was so refreshing and helped cut through the spices so I could continue to enjoy my meal (it actually says it on the back! I didn't see until after my meal lol). Cool to see the other Thai beers, will be trying them next time!Overall 11/10! Will be going back and trying the rest of the menu.Vegetarian options: All the vegetarian dishes have a green "VH" marked at the bottom of the description. SEA food tends to have a good variety of Vegetarian dishes.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible right off the sidewalk and is a one story shop with no stairs or barriers. Swing door must be pulled open and is the standard door size. Tables and chairs can be moved to be accessible to wheelchair users.“

“This place is hided gem. We are visiting San Diego for a couple of days. Decided on Chinese food. Ma Noodle delivers so we took a chance. I’m glad we did. We ordered the Yang chow Rice, the salted chicken and the crispy shrimp. The food was great. The portions were big as well. It was enough for at least 3 people. I haven’t had Chinese food this good in very long time. Nothing overly or under seasoned. Great experience. Definitely recommend.“

“All three categories get high reviews today! What a great find here in National CIty! The Pho soups (we had shrimp and steak) were fresh hot and delish. The waiter took extra time to explain exactly each food item before we made our decision and was most accommodating in making sure we got exactly what would make our meal perfect. Although the restaurant was small, I felt the decorations (especially around the Chinese New Year) created a nice ambiance. There was another category which is not listed and that is "going the extra mile" - when our friend forgot his credit card, the owner was kind enough to run it out to our car, which was just about to go through the green light across the street to make a left turn; to hand it to him! We will certainly be back to enjoy another wonderful experience - perhaps with a little less drama....“

“We love their food! Our go to items are salt n pepper wings, BBQ, Oceania, and house fried rice! They also make their own spicy mustard. It’s the best I’ve ever had! White rice or fried rice comes with the main dishes as a side as well. We eat the leftovers for lunch and nothing ever goes to waste. So good, so good!!!“

“I've been looking for a Thai place that has a good panong salmon. This is the place. Even though it was take-out, it was beautifully presented. The salmon was cooked to perfection. The panong was lovely, and lots of broccoli and carrots. Friendly service during pickup. I'd definitely do eat-in here.“
