“I love the sandwiches here, and I recently started eating gluten-free. I just had a lettuce wrap club: 1/2 turkey, 1/2 ham, 3 strips bacon, and it's fantastic. Lots of great crunch you don't get in a sandwich, even. Definitely recommended if you're on the lookout for gluten-free options on campus!

The guys inside sprung into action and quickly got pics of the license plate and saved them for me.On the food side, I suggest the turkey with sesame seed. The sourdough is too tough for me personally but still amazing. Secret garlic sauce is delicious.“

“My family and I just recently went to Sourdough and had a great experience. The staff were very welcoming and very patient with our group. The restaurant itself was very clean. Tables were brand new with cool designs. The atmosphere was also very respectful and peaceful.

Food was also very exceptional for the price. I had the grilled chicken sandwich. The meat was very tender and overall very good. Others in our group that are vegetarian were also very pleased with their meals. The Caprese sandwich and the ttomato bisque with the side of bread were very popular. The cookies though shouldn't be overlooked. They were very soft and delicious. If you come here you have to give the cookies a try.“

“The Mountain View Mendocino’s Farm is a popular location in a chain in the San Antonio complex where there is plenty of seating and restaurant to choose from, but we still ended up going to Mendocino Farms. The ambiance with so much seating and barely anyone there for dinner(I think it is more busy during lunch) it was the perfect spot to eat. The menu had lots of veggie options which was perfect for my vegetarian mom and the food seemed really fresh. We ordered a Guava Lemonade, Tomato Soup, Chimichurri Steak and Bacon Sandwich, and The Modern Caesar Salad!

Starting with our bev. The guava lemonade was really good. It tasted super fresh and you could even feel some guava seeds at the bottom of the drink. It was tart and refreshing and they filled our drink to the brim. The Chimichurri steak and bacon sandwich was also quality. The Chimichurri was oddly really sweet and the steak was a little tough, but the dish still tasted amazing with all of its elements( the bacon, the sauces, and the roll). The salad though I wasn’t able to try was also really good with little crunchies that were unique. It didn’t seem like anything special, but the ingredients all looked fresh and delicious. The tomato soup pasty was subpar. There was no wow factor it was just plain tomato soup. There didn’t seem to be any salt added so the soup was kind of sweet and sour which I didn’t enjoy however with some bread it tasted a lot better.

Overall, Mendocino Farms for its affordability(all of the dishes and drinks I described ended up being $45), pretty good tasting food, and great ambiance I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others and hope to come again.

It was really quiet and staff didn't seem terribly friendly or welcoming but our party of four just wanted to get some food and leave anyway.“

“This was my first time in a Specialty's after all the Bay Area stores closed right around when CoViD hit. I'm so glad the owners decided to take a chance and open a new store at this location next to the NASA base.

For anyone who used to work in the FiDi in San Francisco, this feels like coming home. The sandwiches and cookies are the same tip-top quality as I remember, and the drink selection has gotten even better.

As for the service -- outstanding. I miss the cloth bags they use to hold large orders back when I used to order breakfast for the whole office, so I asked if I could buy one; instead the cashier walked to the back and got me two new bags for free, then wished me a pleasant day. What more could I ask.

The people of Mountain View don't know how good they've got it here. Come back, Specialty's, we miss you!

Parking: The parking lot is shared with other buildings in the same office complex. Not that large to begin with.

The salad was a little different Grinding crunchy quinoa which for 35 and up freaks you out because it feels like a tooth broke! If you have allergies it might be hard to pick through food as my man is allergic to corn and onion and it was all over the food. The juice is awesome but lemonade was too sweet! They should fix by the juice because it was a mess of dirty towels. Overall I give this place a 4 because it’s a great concept with good service but needs to clean up a little. “I am so glad they opened this sandwich spot! I ordered 5 items for takeout and it came out to only $34. I got 2 veggie sandwiches on Dutch crunch. Best sandwiches in San Mateo County. I also tried their 2 dessert options. They have the bst carrot cake I have ever had! Their chocolate chip cookie tasted very rich. I had their veggie soup which was fresh and delicious. This place is my new go to spot. The location is a little awkward, but the inside is organized and clean. It only took 10 minutes to make my order. Definitely a satisfied customer!!!“
