We tried the Kit Roll and it was phenomenal. It was the perfect amount of spicy level too. The vibes where awesome, we will for sure be back for more!!“

“My husband was craving Teppanyaki so we came to Yamato on a Saturday night and it was pretty crowded but since we really just wanted the food and didn’t necessarily want to see the “show” we were seated pretty quickly at a nice spacious booth. The servers were very friendly and attentive. We got the hibachi steak and shrimp and the hibachi steak and scallops which were both delicious. The fried rice was extremely flavorful and the portions are generous. The side of veggies was absolutely amazing. The price point is also very good. Some teppanyaki restaurants are extremely overpriced and Yamato is priced fairly especially for how much food you get. The atmosphere is fun and lively and perfect for celebrating birthdays, graduations, etc.

“Definitely needs a higher rating. Cause the sushi here was phenomenal! I mean the taste and quality was just truly amazing. We had the flaming salmon roll. The salmon just melted in your mouth. It had crab in it as well and it didn’t over power it. It blended so nicely together. Then there was a special that the chef made. It was so good. Meant to ask what he puts in it. But it was so delicious. Staff is so friendly and fun loving. They have such a good atmosphere and the service was truly great. We even had their house cold-sake. It was so good. I have been here three times now and it does not disappoint! There are two menus, the full menu the restaurant offers and a paper menu for ordering sushi. I love the sushi and sashimi they have. Each time the waiters were friendly and so were the chefs. You are even able to see them cut and prepare the sushi! The sushi rolls we ordered were so tasty and it was so good. Highly recommend visiting!“

“I ate here yesterday (06/13/2025>11:35am) and really enjoyed the food—it was delicious! However, I was a bit disappointed with the service. The waitress seemed upset and not in the mood to engage. I understand that everyone has bad days, and we never really know what someone might be going through. Still, as a customer, it's always nice to be greeted with a smile—even a small or polite one makes a big difference. A warm welcome really helps set the tone for a good dining experience.

“My kids love ramen so we came by to check it out. They had so much fun picking thier packet from the wall, cooking it and adding the toppings. The staff was so friendly and accommodating!

“As you enter you are greeted by an open and spacious space. The sushi bar area is nicely decorated and looks well maintained. The entire restaurant is meticulously clean with everything in its place.

Service is attentive and gracious. I ordered the Chicken Karaage Curry and my mom ordered the Salmon Collar. When our food arrived it looked fantastic. The Chicken Karaage looked really crunchy. I ate a piece off the top and it was extremely crunchy, my expectations were high. I dipped a piece of chicken into the curry sauce, but the sauce seemed bland. As I ate it was clear the chicken was incredible, but the curry sauce was broken. There were multiple signs of separation. Some parts were watery and bland, other parts were thicker with stronger flavor. In the picture separation can be seen around the edges of the sauce. Another issue is the rice was room temperature and the grains were starting to tighten and did not mix well with the curry sauce. The disappointing thing is both issues could have easily been fixed before serving. The curry sauce was an easy fix and the rice just had to be warmed. Small things really do make a big difference. I would give the Chicken Karaage alone a 5 out of 5, but with the curry sauce and rice, I would knock that down to a 3.5 out of 5. If everything was freshly made I'm sure it would have been a 5 out of 5.

This is a Sushi Bar and I didn't even try the sushi, so I can't say much about it. However, the prices are very reasonable and definitely worth a try.

I was having lunch the other day and was half-way through my meal when I received an emergency phone call from my daughter's school, which is very close to the restaurant, that she had had a seizure and that I had to go there immediately. “he food was very good, portions are large. I'm not cool with how they put mayo in the handrolls. The fish is fresh and the service is snappy. There's a nice variety of rolls and dishes on the menu. Unfortunately for me, most of the rolls have Shellfish in them. My friend was happy with the variety. It's a nice, cozy environment good for bringing a date. There plenty of parking in the adjacent lot. Overall, I recommend Sushi Ko.“

“Food and service were wonderful. We went on a Monday night so there weren't that many people. Unfortunately there was only one server working so they had to handle everyone. But we still got our food and drinks served in a pretty timely manner. I'd definitely go back again!

“The store itself felt a little empty decoration wise. They had one waitress working, but she was very attentive. Each table had tablets(ours lost charge) where you could order everything. It's great especially if you are introverted or indecisive and need extra time. If you prefer, they do also have regular menus. The food itself was amazing.
