“I had been meaning to try this place, especially because it's located conveniently across from the San Rafael transit center, all you have to do is get off the train or bus, walk for about a minute and there you are.
The buffet is small but adequate. 2 entrees today, goat and chicken. I sampled a small piece of the goat expecting it to be gamey, but it was surprisingly mild, which I prefer.
Each table is stocked with a bottle of water at room temperature ( my preference) and the restaurant is clean, so was the restroom.
I was given 2 coupons to use for my next visit, doesn't apply to the buffet.
Give them a try!“

“Server and bus person were extremely rude, wouldn't clear the table before we sat. When we asked to have the table wiped down we were snapped at and spoken meanly to. The server presented the check but wasn't clearing the table even when we asked so we could finish our drinks. Just wanted his money and completely ignored us. Although the food was good I'll never go back because the servers were so terrible.“

“The garlic roast crab here, paired with the garlic noodles, might be one of the most enjoyable meals I’ve had in San Francisco. Just make sure you clean your hands well before eating because you’re gonna dig in deep and go nasty. And don’t skip its head. It’s surprisingly good. Dip some noodles into the garlic oil and eat some of that crab meat and all of the good stuff in one bite, and you’ll be like 🤤🤤🤤“

“This is my second time here, and I have to admit—I forgot the name after my first visit and had been trying so hard to remember it because the rare beef pho is hands down my favorite I've ever had. I was literally dreaming about it! I was ecstatic to stumble upon it again (especially since I live almost 2 hours from San Rafael).
The food is just so good. I’ll definitely be back for that rare beef pho again!“

“Dined here on 1-22-25! Recommend by my wife who ate here with a Postal Staff party. Food portions were outstanding and very tasty! All the staff were friendly and very accommodating. Will definitely come back, as it's hard to find good Chinese food with such generous portions!! Looking at the customers , they seemed to be all regulars returning to such a good place to eat! I definitely found a little gold mine, and almost want to be secretive about this place!!
Thanks,
Paul C“

“A wonderful hidden gem in Sausalito. The food was hot, tasty and authentic. It has been a long time since I had Chinese food that was great and swore I wouldn't eat any again unless I was back in New York. Let me tell you, eat Tommy's Wok!“

“Now, it was a Wednesday evening of some distinction, not by weather nor society, but by the simple fact that I found myself—post-yoga, soul cleansed and stomach empty—ambling toward the end of Judah Street, where the mighty ocean hums lullabies to weary cityfolk.
I was hunting supper. Not a banquet, mind you, but something honest, warm, and preferably involving potatoes. The city had gone quiet, the stars blinked over the Sunset, and there—like a lighthouse to the hungry—I spotted Golden Gate Indian Cuisine & Pizza, its modest sign glowing like the answer to a question I didn’t know I’d asked.
They had a table out front. Just one. It sat lonely and noble, like a sheriff on night patrol. I claimed it.
I ordered as follows:
— Two samosas, firm and golden, filled with mashed potato and what I suspect was the exact pea from Eden.
— A Flying Horse Royal Lager, tall and cold, and brewed with the kind of discipline I wish more men possessed.
— And the crowning glory: a Vegetarian Masala Pizza. A creation I could only describe as what would happen if Naples and New Delhi had a love child and raised it in the California sun.
The pizza was not spicy—not fiery, not arrogant—but gentle and fragrant, a kind of masala lullaby. The crust was proper, not a chewy affair, and the toppings fresh as if they’d been plucked from a garden behind the kitchen. For those who desire more heat (and I do), they’ll kindly provide a tray of extra spices with the gravity of a spice bazaar in miniature.
Service? Friendly and sincere. None of your slick nonsense. Just warm folks who care if you’re fed.
And here’s the part most don’t mention: they’re open late. That’s a kindness rare in these parts. If your yoga ends after nine, or you’ve just stared at the sea wondering where your life went sideways, they’ll still serve you—with a smile, a samosa, and a seat beneath the stars.
For couples: maybe grab takeout and charm each other over Netflix. But if you’re solo—an adventurer, a wanderer, or a humble storyteller—this little table by the wall is perfect. The kind of table where stories begin and indigestion never follows.
Highly recommended. And that’s no small praise from a man who’s dined with generals, fools, and the occasional ghost.“

“Great waiter, friendly staff , food was exceptional, warm popovers brought to the table with herbed butter , I had pan fried crispy seasoned skin-on steelhead Salmon with fennel & leeks and Romesco sauce on mashed potatoes , it seems as though mashed potatoes are the thing with fish now a days, while I prefer veggies or rice of some sort , atmosphere is very cosy, nice but casual, like wearing a jacket with a withe shirt and jeans with flip flops, waiter brought me a fuzzy blanket, because it feels like winter here, it was slightly overcast, sun broke through about 3pm, walked around town, shopped at the local food market, it’s a thing for me to check out local grocery stores, finished with a cafe latte at Equator coffee, hit the spot! Tomorrow Inn at the Tides, Bodega Bay.“

“This is a wonderful spot for a bite on a beach day. Good menu, and wines by the glass. Outdoor seating is very popular so may be a wait especially at weekends. Next door is a popular ice cream stall and burgers if you can’t wait for a table.“
