“Picture this: it's 9:30 AM, and the only thing louder than our roaring motorcycles is our hunger. We stumble into this joint expecting side-eye glances, but instead, we're greeted with a warmth that could rival our exhaust pipes. Now, onto the main event – the burger. Cooked to perfection, with a spicy remoulade that'll wake you up faster than a triple shot of espresso. And don't even get me started on the bun – it's so magnificent, I almost asked for its autograph. So, if you're up for a morning adventure and a burger that'll make you forget it's not lunchtime, this place is your ticket. Just make sure your motorcycle's parked securely – you wouldn't want it to get jealous of the attention you're about to give this burger.”
“Chilled seafood sampler very fresh and tasty. My husband got the seafood stew and I got chowder. Never had a clam chowder with so many and big clams. Glass of Chardonnay and Bloody Mary were just as tasty. Great atmosphere and good service. Would def recommend and will return!”
“I love Outerlands, it's a beautiful, small and cozy space and at dinner time it is lit just right. We were a large group seated by the window, and the service was truly impeccable. The String Theory & River Crossing cocktails are two of the best drinks I've ever had, anywhere. They make that aperitivo rossa themselves, OMG. Balanced perfection and, oh, just SO GOOD! Outstanding mixology. The starters were great (esp the kohlrabi salad--GET IT!), but a bunch of us had the chicken as our main and it was sadly disappointing. It might seem extreme to give three stars for food based primarily on the chicken alone, but I do feel that chicken is such a foundational/cornerstone dish for a restaurant, the chef should feel compelled to put out the best possible version they can. It was dry, the skin wasn't crisp enough, and it was accompanied by a crouton, chicory, and fennel salad that was very tart and one dimensional, totally missing balance (I think it needed some currants or golden raisins--SOME spec of sweetness to offset the VERY bitter chicories and the lemon vinaigrette). All five of us who ordered the chicken left half the food on our plate--and we're hearty guys who love to eat. Please, take a critical look at this dish. Your customers are loyal and we love you and want you to succeed. BTW, great date night ambiance!”
“Incredibly fresh fish place. Looking at market prices and catch of the day, but everything on the menu you know will be fresh. Pretty stacked line at anytime you come so be prepared to wait. Ceviche good, tacos great, and plenty of outside seating, you just have to be on the prowl.”
“I could go on and on about this spot. It was fantastic. All around wonderful except there is only 1 bathroom and when it's busy...well don't wait til the last minute to pee or there may be a line??♀️ cannot wait to go back!!!Vegetarian options: Everything we ordered was very well balanced. Proportions we're good for 2 to share depending on how hungry you are I guess, we shared 4 dishes and we're stoked with everything”
“Had a dinner for a birthday celebration with family, sat “outside” in the Parklet (with heat lamps).Food:Crab cakes - great, loved the sauce.Bread order - tasty, olive oil was ??Ribeye- medium, cooked well.Porterhouse- rare, too much sauce used and didn’t love the grilled asparagus.Filet- medium, too well cooked for medium.Kale salad- way overdressed.Glass of Zin- perfect.Birthday cookie - lovely.Service was okay, fine. Struggled to take gift card as payment form. All in all, it was a good place for our small group to celebrate and we left pretty happy with it.”
“Well, I discovered this small place in the heart of San Rafael and pffff I fell in love with the cuisine that led me to remember my mother's food in my beautiful Mexico. I'm sure I'll come back to try more of the menu but today I tried some carnitas and asada picaditas and their super tasty horchata water, I fell in love with this little place”
“Good for a quick bite. I like the local feel of the place but it can get very crowded, especially on the weekends so I'm glad for the outdoor tables. I like to stop by when I'm going to hang out near Ocean Beach. The food is tasty!”
“Good food but pricey and small portions. One of those places you go and then need to stop at in and out after. I've had larger servings of nigiri at other sushi ”
“This restaurant is a true gem. Nestled in the Montecito Plaza strip mall is this truly authentic, incredibly fresh and delicious Indian culinary excursion. Every dish is uniquely flavored with generous portions and lovely service. Larry and I will be regulars!! Don't miss it!!”
“Second time since 2021. While price has increased it still offers one of the best value in the area for tasting menu. Most of the courses are on point and creative. my favorite is the jidoji egg. The tortellini is a bit bland, but still good. I like that the atmosphere is intimate and unassuming.”
“We came here for a late lunch. You walk in and grab a menu, then stand in line to order. The first thing I noticed was the smell of the food. It was also quite loud. There is a mix of high top and tables. There’s someone standing to help direct you to a seat which may be at a shared table once you get your number from your order. I appreciated the all gender bathrooms. The sandwich was made well. The citrus dressing was refreshing. The rice and beans had great flavor. When you walk by, you can see the rotisserie chicken and ribs, which look amazing and tasted really good.”
“amazing acai, empanadas, smoothies, and sandwiches. and their cheese bread-- so yummy. a must try for authentic brazilian food! cute little patio out back. a must try in marin, much needed here!”
“This is hands down my favorite bar... In the world. It might also be the best bar in the world. The cocktails are off the hook, the bartenders are friendly and welcoming and the vibe is perfection.”
“This is a beautiful place to celebrate a birthday! The service was outstanding! Wonderful thoughtfully prepared and well seasoned options. Loved the smoky garbanzos on the Meze platter!”
“Had the white wine and the Gabagool — it was a treat!! If you can, try to sit the corner where the sun hits you.Service and vibes are similar any other bougie wine bar, with excellent waiter recommendations on food options. Will go again!!”
“Marcelo was an amazing server and staff, as well as all the other staffs that brought out meat, refilled our drinks, and clear our table. We were here to celebrate our anniversary and wouldn't have done it at a better spot than this. The meat had a great selection to choose from.”
“I crave the gnocchi here and I don't even like gnocchi. My kids were mad when they had their fries and said now all other fries are ruined for them. Their Crudo is proportion is tiny but delicious. Had the most Marin kind of pizza - the kale with roasted garlic and it was delish. I could go on...but I need a nap now...”
“Food is amazing and service is fantastic. I ordered three pupusas, and horchata, and a diet coke. The pupusas, slaw, and salsa were the perfect degree of spiciness. The dining room is immaculately clean. Plenty of free convenient parking just outside the door. And the prices are very reasonable.”
“I live in Sausalito incase anyone thinks I’m a regular and I’m trying to plug a friend’s place or whatever. This is the best breakfast in Marin. Food is so fresh and the staff are exceptional. I work in the service industry and don’t usually leave reviews. Really evident team culture and refreshing attitudes all round. Well done to all!”
“I’m a huge Ice Cream fan, dairy preferably! But dang this Ice Cream can compete with some of the best dairy ice creams I’ve ever had. I don’t get the other reviews about how disappointing size or that it isn’t dairy. This is sustainable, extremely well made ice cream by a fully female staffed company (i was told). Highly recommended.”
“Super cute spot with great boba and friendly staff. I’ve had the brown sugar milk tea and the mango sticky rice inspired drink which is amazing and so unique and fun! Easy to order on the kiosk and quick service.Dietary restrictions: They don’t use powdered mixes so you can get the drinks dairy free with alternative milks”
“Just enjoyed the most delicious shrimp tacos. Son had a Kito's burrito and loved it. The homemade tortilla chips were great. Everything tasted really fresh and very flavorful. Tom, the owner, was super friendly. Highly recommend everyone try Kitos!”
“We had a fabulous dinner o a rainy Sunday evening. The Gnocchi were deliious, so light and fluffy that they melt in your mouth. The waitstaff was gracious and very attentive. It is one of my favorite restaurants in Marin.”
“tome delicioso cafe s aroma wow luego. queria un bagel a m gusto y eso fue riquisimo m atendieron super bien amables alegres. rapido claro q volvere por esa salsa especial q usan”
“Some of the best pastries I’ve had in my life — and I’ve had a lot! The chocolate croissant was so light and so flaky — unlike the too-heavy or -bready croissants you get most places. Chocolate chip cookies are the same deal — light, crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, SO tasty.”
“Recent upgrade on the score. First couple of times we went it was ...fine?! Nothing amazing. This last time was a different experience. The fish was super fresh and perfectly cooked. Now worthy of its number”
“Stopped here on a bikepacking trip. Grateful to find some rare, gluten free naan! Extremely friendly staff and incredible food. One of the best!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free naan!”
“The place was packed on a Saturday and it was awesome. Great family vibe with soccer team parties, dogs everywhere, and outdoor heaters galore (it can get windy bring your jacket you'll thank me).Pizzas are good and really decent prices too. Their beer selection was huge but I asked for a recommendation each time and loved every beer. They have a wide variety. I didn't go inside but it looked cool.Parking suuuucks. No two ways about it.”

“One of the best patios north of SF. Solid reggae music, perfect weather, legit fish and chips. Speaking of which, $28 is a bit rich for some friedCod and fries…. But hey someone had to drive it out here and supply/ demand is real.”
