“Everything was Awesome! Great food and Atmosphere!“

“I had passed by Seoul Bistro a few times but never went in because I wasn’t familiar with Korean food. I’m glad I finally did because this place completely changed my mind. Everything was fresh, hot, and flavorful, and the staff made the whole experience easy and welcoming.
We ordered the beef bulgogi bowl, rose ddukbokki (the cheesy pasta dish I had seen on Instagram/TikTok), and the sweet and spicy Korean fried chicken. All three were excellent. The bulgogi was tender and well seasoned, the cheesy ddukbokki was creamy, rich, and addictive, and the chicken had a great crunch with just the right amount of heat. They even give you gloves to handle it, which was a fun touch. Portion sizes are generous and perfect for sharing, we left with leftovers.
The atmosphere was relaxed with Korean music in the background, and there’s a call button at the table for service, which was really convenient. It seems to be very popular for takeout too, since I noticed a steady stream of delivery drivers picking up orders. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portions, and while they do add gratuity for dine-in, I thought it was fair given the service.
Overall, Seoul Bistro is a gem in Studio City. It’s approachable even if you’re new to Korean food, and the flavors really deliver. The 4.6 rating is well deserved, and I’ll definitely be coming back.“

“The food was very delicious a little on the higher price side everything is à la cart. Price are the different meat, chicken, pork, but other than that it was fantastic.“

“Five years ago, on a rainy afternoon in Los Angeles - the kind that sneaks into your shoes and makes umbrellas feel hilariously inadequate - my partner and I had just finished errands at a local bank in Studio City. The streets gleamed under a stubborn drizzle, and, hungry and thoroughly soaked, we went searching for shelter. We slipped into the nearby Green Apple China Bistro, like two weary ships at last finding safe harbor in a gentle sea of rain.\n\nWarmth wrapped around us instantly - the fragrant swirl of ginger, garlic, and sizzling woks felt like a hug from the universe. We plopped into a booth by the window, watching raindrops perform races down the glass as the city blurred into watery streaks.\n\nSoon, a parade of treasures arrived. New York‑style egg rolls - crisp and steaming, their golden shells crackling softly as we picked them up, stuffed with a savory mix of cabbage, celery, pork, and shrimp. Each bite released a warm, fragrant hug of flavors, perfectly balanced with a playful drizzle of sweet-and-sour plum sauce that danced across the tongue like a tiny celebration.\n\nTwo‑Flavor Shrimp - plump, succulent shrimp artfully arranged on a divided plate, dressed in two contrasting sauces: one savory with gentle warmth, the other bright, sweet, and tangy. Though distinct, the sauces came together to form a harmonious whole, balancing and elevating each bite. Caramelized walnuts added a delicate, nutty crunch, completing a sophisticated interplay of textures and flavors. Bold yet refined, this dish transformed every forkful into a memorable culinary journey.\n\nThe Pineapple Curry Fried Rice - tender chicken and succulent shrimp intertwined with crisp peas, sweet carrots, scallions, and delicate white onions, all embraced by fragrant, golden fried rice. Juicy pineapple added a luminous, tropical sweetness, while toasted cashews lent a subtle, nutty crunch. Infused with a gentle, aromatic curry spice, each bite unfolded layers of savory warmth and textural harmony - a refined, vibrant reinterpretation of a classic fried rice..., adding a cheerful tropical wink to the otherwise gray day.\n\nEach bite was a tiny rebellion against the rain, a delicious incantation that chased away the chill. The hum of conversation, the clatter of dishes, and the attentive staff made the dreary afternoon feel like an unexpected adventure in a hidden, enchanted corner of the city.\n\nWhen we stepped back into the drizzle, we carried more than satisfied appetites - we carried a pocket of warmth, laughter, and a whisper of magic that danced in the air well beyond the last drop of rain.\n\nNowadays, even five years later, we return to the Green Apple China Bistro with eager anticipation. Since I have no favorites and treasure the thrill of discovery, I select different dishes each time, delighting in the unexpected. Every plate, vibrant in flavor, texture, and aroma, holds a small surprise, turning each meal into an exquisite, ever-changing culinary journey. Each visit leaves a lingering impression long after the last taste - a tiny spark of enchantment waiting to be discovered anew.\n\nMaria E.\nCertified Sommelier & Cordon Bleu Chef | International Food Expert\nPresident of a Gourmet Food Company\n‘Bringing exceptional flavors to life’“

“I loved my dining experience there! The decor is warm and special; the service, impeccable, and the food is beautifully presented and delicious. I recommend the lobster spring rolls, the calamari and shrimp salad, and the duck fried rice. If you really like lemongrass, then try the seared scallops!“

“I was in LA for four nights, went to other notable restaurants, and this was by far the best dining experience I had. You feel like you are in a friend's home. All of the dishes were delicious, fresh, vibrant and beautiful. Every detail is intentional. The dishes and platers are stunning and thoughtfully chosen. Highly recommend. If you're in LA, don't miss Chef Okay Inak and Sora.“

“This unassuming Thai restaurant served great, tasty Thai food! We ordered pad kee mao and panang curry, both with chicken and 5 stars spicy level. They were both absolutely delicious! They were not skimpy with the ingredients. The only problem was it needs free refill of the broth because it was damn good! Pad kee mao hits the spot too! The 5 stars spicy level was just right for us, for others might be too spicy. Also appreciate the fact that the price for the brown rice is the same as the white rice. Absolutely recommend this Thai place if you're in the area and we will definitely come back next time!“

“I finally checked out Enchant LA in Koreatown and was honestly impressed by how well they pull off Korean fusion without it feeling forced.
We ordered a mix of classic and creative dishes, and everything delivered. The Kim’s Kimchi Pasta was the standout for me. The stir fried kimchi and bacon added a smoky, savory kick, and the creamy pink sauce tied it all together in a way that felt rich but not heavy. It sounds unusual, but it works extremely well.
The Bulgogi Quesadilla was another surprise. The sweet soy marinated beef paired perfectly with the melted mozzarella and Mexican cheese. Crispy on the outside and juicy inside. It felt like comfort food with real flavor behind it.
The Korean Fried Chicken was exactly what you want. Super crispy wings with no greasiness, and the house made sweet and spicy garlic dipping sauce was addictive. Easily one of the better Korean fried chicken orders I’ve had in LA.
We also got the Asian Orange Ginger Salad, which was refreshing and balanced out the heavier dishes. Fresh greens, bright citrus, crunchy almonds, and a light ginger dressing that didn’t overpower anything.
The La La Galbi Set was satisfying and well portioned. Tender marinated short ribs, smoky sausage, grilled onions and peppers, and rice to soak up all the flavor. Simple and comforting.
The vibe inside is casual and welcoming, and the menu gives you a lot of options whether you want something familiar or want to try something different. Overall, Enchant LA is a great spot if you’re in Koreatown and want Korean food with a creative twist. I’d definitely come back to try more of the menu.“

“Doing tofu and mushrooms this well is VERY RARE. Most places miss the mark on the tofu marinade, and it can be bland. Not the case here! Bun & Mi are able to work umami miracles with the mushroom tofu noodle bowl. The vegan sauce (vinaigrette) is balanced and intentionally subtle but perfect in acidity and salinity and depth.
They clearly are a mom/pop place, with exceptional quality control. They have crushed ice, filtered water. This may sound like a strange thing to remark, BUT it makes all the difference! So many places are not paying attention to the little details, serving tap water that tastes like it came out of a fish bowl. This place is giving you a very intentional, humble and delicious meal. Doing a few menu items and doing them well!“

“I tried looking for other places where I can study at night without feeling like I’m stuck at the library but came back to tk. While there may be other choices nearby it’s not as warm and friendly. Tk has accessible snacks as well as drinks, good wifi, a bathroom, parking that doesn’t suck, and friendly workers. I like their chicken curry bowl and their spam musubi came out piping hot!“

“Sweetfin Poke in Santa Monica delivered exactly what I was craving—a super fresh, flavorful, and satisfying meal without the heaviness. I stopped in for a late lunch and built my own bowl with spicy tuna, bamboo rice, avocado, pickled shiitake mushrooms, crispy onions, and their creamy togarashi sauce, and every bite was spot-on. The fish tasted incredibly fresh, the toppings were vibrant and varied in texture, and the portions were generous without being overwhelming. The space itself is bright and minimal, and the service was quick but friendly—they helped me navigate the menu and offered great suggestions. I also grabbed one of their sparkling yuzu lemonades which was the perfect balance of tart and refreshing. It’s clear Sweetfin takes pride in quality ingredients and thoughtful combinations, and it’s the kind of place you can go multiple times a week without ever getting bored.“

“I got most beautiful poke bowl I've ever seen -- truly a work of art. They also had some really unique bases and toppings I've never seen before too. Another nice thing about this place is that they are right next to a place that serves matcha drinks. A poke bowl + a matcha latte? That's some good stuff.“

“Very, very good. Our first time - and we brought our grandson, a bacon connoisseur! We liked that there was sufficient space between tables so we were not right on top of others. We had made a reservation and our table was ready when we arrived. Service was excellent - not rushed nor too slow. Everything we ordered was delicious though my husband had the French Toast - and while he said it was good, he thought it was too thick and not cooked through all the way - just a small defect. Prices were on the high side, but portions were generous and quality ingredients were used.“

She was beyond sweet and kind and stunning too!!! We had such a beautiful time, she gave us the best seats on the beautiful patio as we over looked the view! I highly recommend you guys go here. “We recently held a memorial, celebrating the life of a loved family member at Yamashiro and the experience was nothing short of amazing! This restaurant has great food, beautiful views and a very welcoming atmosphere so they don't need to negotiate prices. However, our party was on a budget and to our very pleasant surprise, the manager worked with us to fit the evening into our limited budget. The service was outstanding and the food, well, I'm repeating myself but, again, absolutely amazing! Some establishments are willing to work within people's budgets, but the food and service level tends to reflect the lower pricing but that was NOT the case here: We were treated as if we were the only people in attendance that evening. The occasion was bitter/sweet because we lost a loved one but, by the end of the evening, we felt as if we had spent the evening at a family member's house and we will NEVER forget this evening, on many levels. Thank you, Yamashiro, for making our evening extra special for everyone in our party!“
