“My Mother’s Day (party day) order included 5 dozen mini cupcakes, 2 cakes, and some whoopie pies! I got home and realized my order was missing a dozen red velvet cupcakes. I called the studio city location for a refund on those since I had no time to go back to the bakery before the party (please open a location in Santa Clarita @susiesarich 😂). Instead, they same day delivered my cupcakes PLUS sent additional cookies and Mother’s Day treats for no additional cost to me😭❤️ I was SO amazed by the gracious customer service. I’ve been celebrating with Susie for over a decade and I will never leave- especially now! Thank you Susie and @susiecakesbakery for your delicious treats and valuing your customers so much💗“

“Walking distance from my place in Beverly Grove L.A. and boy am I glad. First found them in Manhattan and was delighted when they opened here. Good old chocolate cake does it for me, tho sometimes I swing vanilla, & the BF loves the Banana Pudding. Gotta say I'm not a fan of their new prepackaged cake slices. I prefer seeing it sliced from the whole cake right before my very eyes the way Mom did it and God intended. The way they have slices now, in stacks of plastic boxes, makes it seem more like you're getting them from a vending machine than an old-time bakery. I guess it makes transactions quicker, but I hope they reconsider.“

“Julian delivered outstanding customer service during an incredibly busy rush at Cold Stone. Despite a full establishment and a steady stream of customers continuing to come in, he remained completely focused on giving every single person an excellent experience. He worked quickly without ever rushing, making sure each order was done right the first time.

Even with a long line, Julian took his time at the register to ensure accuracy, double-checking orders and even asking if we had a punch card to use, something that could easily be overlooked when working solo under pressure. His professionalism, attention to detail, and calm demeanor stood out and made the experience enjoyable for everyone waiting.

I honestly couldn’t help but feel for him being on his own-he definitely could have used some support but he handled it all with efficiency and a positive attitude.

Boss man, take note and recognize this hardworking employee; dedicated workers like Julian are hard to come by these days.

“This is a mocha filled cake. I brought these fresh flowers 1 day before the event. Although, my daughter’s instructions was to include red melted chocolate on this rustic/vintage themed cake but they did NOT. I can see why, it would have taken away from the theme. they have such a great eye in designing and captivating one’s imagination . They delivered the cake on time and the extra flowers were also returned. Definitely, recommend to friends and families!“

“The Marino’s staff did an amazing job on our wedding cake! Not only did it look stunning, but it was absolutely delicious. The staff was very attentive during our consult and was able to create exactly what we asked for. Our nieces were delighted when they learned that the beautiful flower decorations were edible! I absolutely recommend going to Martino’s if you are looking for a beautiful and delicious cake for any event!“

“The Baseline: For a desert shop the flavor of offerings must out-weigh the taste of pure sugar, there must be unique/rare offerings that drive me to go there, and the value of the desert must be balanced with the fact I probably just finished a meal.

Food: Tasty cupcakes with a slightly higher price tag. ATM them at 4AM if you need a cupcake fix. I got the Vietnamese Coffee cupcake which was good but a little too sugary. Need to try others to really make a final verdict.

Service: Great service from the employees and there is a self service ATM for cupcakes so it is 24/7 cupcakes if you need them.

Ambiance: It is a fun little shop that is straight to the point… getting a cupcake. This is a fun stop for a desert after getting a meal in the Manhattan Village.“

“The goal was to look for a nice cake at a good price since the cake wasn’t going to be the center of attention. I showed Joanie some examples of some cakes I thought were beautiful but I was sure it would be too expensive to do. She helped me alter the design we picked just a little bit to stay on budget and let me tell you, this cake was PERFECT. We even placed it next to the champagne tower to display it for all to see. Not only did it look pretty but it also just tasted delicious. While the cake was meant to be an area we were trying to save money and keep our expectation low, it turned out completely opposite and we ended up with an absolutely beautiful cake at an incredible price. “Your employees really make or break your business. Came in 1 minute late. Lady walked off and completely ignored me. This is someone who doesnt care about your business. The older lady wanted to help, but something was not allowing her. 15 years coming here. I would leave 1 star, but I don't want to damage the business because of a bad employees behavior.
