I had the tri tip with Mac and cheese, greens, cornbread and a cucumber/onion salad with a side of Suela’s signature Hennessy sauce. Everything was delectable, well seasoned and I would definitely order again. The Mac and cheese is definitely grandma approved! A couple of helpful tips: Be sure to have Tupperware or containers on hand for leftovers, as Nana's Kitchen does not provide these. “I've lived in the. neighborhood and always knew Baked It Myself was here but because of work and just being plain forgetful, i never had the chance to try it until a few weeks ago. I've been there once a week since and i'll continue to be a regular. Some of the best food in the area for a great price. I've stuck to their sandwiches so far: hanger steak panini, brie prosciutto and pear and the fried chicken and fries special. all three HIT. and the delicious free cookie with them is icing on the cake.

it's a side street on van nuys, no frills cozy inside with outdoor seating that's actually on one of the nicer feeling streets in this area.

Their churro were so light & crispy with plenty dipping sauce choices. Our guests raved over this late night treat. “Hollywood Hidden House was fantastic- the best event venue I've worked with in LA!!! The outdoor courtyard with it's hedge walls, elegant fountain, and gorgeous chandeliers created the perfect garden party atmosphere. We asked Betty if she'd be able to work with purple for our food/beverages to support our event's theme, and she went above and beyond! Everything was so innovative, fun and creative, and delicious! This is the perfect spot for a private event!“

“Awesome tortas, I'm a chilango and these tortas are legit. I came with a party of three and we ordered different tortas. My favorite was the torta chilanga. The order took a few minutes but everything came out fresh. The ingredients looked high quality. These tortas also have the good cheese (quesillo or queso Oaxaca) so that's a plus. The gentleman who took out orders did a great job of walking us through the different menu items and told us which were the most popular. I did ask for a more custom torta and he basically said, no problem we can do that. Aguas were good too. I live in scv but I will be coming out here to get these tasty tortas.“

The tahini bread, however, was very good. It is very cheap so I can see why the quality compared to the price gives this place high ratings.“

“The service was VERY friendly. My server, and several others, greeted me with genuine smiles. Started with Warak Enab Dolma/Sarma (stuffed grape leaves), which were excellent. They are the non-vinegar type which I much prefer, firm with plenty of rich olive oil. Then the Sea Bass entrée. Two full filets traditionally seasoned, a large salad, and potatoes. “This review is to show that tahini was added to our uber eats delivery order when we said no to tahini (spoke with the person on the phone and was told that upload pictures for proof. uber eats told me to speak to the restaurant directly). The permanent red carpet is such a brilliant idea to glam up any event. However, when you are approaching this venue, the street looks a bit sketchy. But once you pull into the small street, you’ll see that it is in an enclave of Los Angeles.

“We have been working with Haute Chefs LA for at least 9 years!
Haute Chefs are always the first on my list when I have to cater a dinner or event.

Their prices are incredibly reasonable for everything you get, but lets be honest, we're here to talk about their food. Their food is always delicious and portions VERY generous. Their presentation is also something you can't forget about, we eat with our eyes first.

They have also become very conscientious of people's dietary needs over the years that I never have trouble finding gluten-free or vegan options on their menu for those with dietary restrictions.

I was going to list some of my personal favorites, but then the list got very long. However, you can't go wrong with their roasted cauliflower, steak & shrimp. Their charcuterie & cheese board is also very beautiful and delicious with the freshest in-season fruits. Their menu has something for everyone, and they are willing to take any other adjustment should you need them for one reason or another.

We ordered chicken koobideh, chicken thigh, and beef koobideh wraps (fries on the side) and they all were extremely delicious with generous portions.
