“This place is very convenient. It's a shame that the Employees are very unprofessional the reason why is because I went to order a Sandwich and when I got home and I opened it up I found a black hair in the Sandwich that's just gross. People, please check out your food before you eat it. Otherwise, you end up like me with extra topping on your sandwich.“

“What a fantastic location. I had to make a review because I was so impressed by the class and dignity of the employees. It's WED Apr 9A around 130pm that I was here. A very frustrated customer was having a hard time with the kiosk. An employee was very kind to assist. The customer was just so frustrated and started cussing. I understand. The app is a double edged sword. Great and horrible at the same time. Another employee stepped up to help. She was so polite. I don't know what the outcome was Cuz I moved to the play place to get away. But from the looks of dining room, things seemed to have worked out. I know it doesn't seem like a big to do, but the professional and dignified approach was excellent. The person who brought my order to my table was so pleasant and accommodating . I love it here. Bravo to the staff.“

“Stealing a phrase from their menu here, but Belle’s bagels is the epitome of “Newish & Jewish” deli classics. Their bagels on their own (judged by eating them without any CC or toppings) are wonderful and I much prefer them over the bagels from Courage, Layla, and Jyan Isaac. They have all the usual suspects (poppy, plain, onion, everything, sesame, salt) and what I’ll call a zeitgeist spin on a typical Asiago bagel: the cacio e pepe. I ordered an assortment of bagels to-go but also had an egg & cheese on the cacio e pepe at the bar counter. It was unbelievably good and such a unique flavor - the crushed peppercorns were the perfect touch. The bagel was perfectly chewy and soft, which paired so well with the velvety eggs and oozing melted cheese. Sitting at the counter felt like I was being served little slice of Jewish deli nostalgia. I also tried one of the black and white cookies to-go and was pleasantly surprised. I hadn’t found a black and white cookie I liked in LA for years until now. If you ever miss New York or the hustle and bustle of a deli with charm and character, make your way to Belle’s.“

“First off, the menu was an embarrassment of riches. Even for my vegetarian wife who often struggles to find a lot of options, there were so many options we talked about coming again later today.
I got the rib eye chilaquiles. When it came I was a little disappointed because it was a steak and eggs with some chilaquiles on the side (I thought they'd be some crazy mixed up thing). After I started eating it, however, I decided they could of brought it in a bucket and made me eat it off the floor and I wouldn't have wanted to complain. The steak was cooked incredibly. So much flavor. And the incredibly non-descript eggs were somehow just tastier than normal eggs. I really don't know how they did it.
This is absolutely going to be our new main breakfast spot.“

“Republik Coffee is as solid as it gets. It has good food, good coffee, and a good ambiance, which makes it a great hang out spot. The breakfast burrito, an almond danish, and a hazelnut cappuccino. It's not a large breakfast burrito, but I felt like all off the ingredients were good quality. The danish was good, and the cappuccino was solid as well.“

“I already had a problem trying to keep myself from going to Lou's every weekend to snag one of those delicious pastries, but now I've moved to the neighborhood, and am even closer. Danger danger! Lol. I can't say enough great things about Lou - The French On The Block. As everyone says the croissants are even better than the ones in France, the lattes are fantastic, and the service is also incredibly warm and personable. This place truly lives up to the hype, and deserves every bit of its success. 🥐✨😍“

“I stopped in to try the coffee and check out the shop. The coffee itself was good and they had some decent food options. The atmosphere is nice, nothing too over the top. Lot of folks on their laptops, but not overly crowded. The employees were super friendly and courteous.
Overall a good experience.“

“Our new breakfast spot! This place is a vibe in decor/music and is dog friendly. They have a small menu of sandwiches, omelets, crepes and my favorite, their parfait. Coffees are made to perfection with many flavors offered. Serving sizes are reasonable and everything is delicious and presented beautifully, even artfully. Staff are mellow and kind and create a welcoming vibe. 10/10“

“Great coffee. The lattes and flat whites are perfection each time, perfectly textured. The line gets long outside but the wait is worth it. The interior is whatever, it’s a grab and go kind of place, although they do have an outdoor seating area but it’s not very atmospheric imo.“

“Ooh, what a lively place. It is a packed place even on a late Thursday morning, but the food is quite good.
I had the avocado toast with two poached eggs and it was tasty. I added a sprinkle of pepper and it was set to go. Definitely interested in trying the rest of their menu.
Cold brew was also nice although not too memorable.“

“Black Elephant Coffee in Burbank is a hidden gem that proves good things come in small packages. This charming little coffee shop may be compact, but it packs a serious punch when it comes to flavor. From the moment you step inside, the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee welcomes you, and it’s clear why this place is always buzzing with energy.
The coffee here is nothing short of exceptional. Each cup is crafted with care, showcasing the quality of their beans and the skill of their baristas. Whether you’re a fan of a classic espresso, a creamy latte, or a perfectly balanced pour-over, Black Elephant delivers some of the most delicious coffee you’ll find in Burbank. It’s the kind of coffee that makes you pause and savor every sip.
And let’s not forget about their croissants—absolute perfection. Flaky, buttery, and baked to golden perfection, they’re the ideal companion to your coffee. Whether you go for a plain croissant or one of their filled varieties, you’re in for a treat. The combination of their coffee and pastries is simply irresistible.
The only downside? The shop’s popularity means it can get pretty crowded, especially during peak hours. But honestly, the slight hustle and bustle are a testament to how good this place is. It’s worth waiting a few extra minutes for coffee and croissants of this caliber.
In short, Black Elephant Coffee is a must-visit for any coffee lover in Burbank. It’s small, it’s cozy, and it’s always busy—but that’s just part of its charm. The quality of their coffee and croissants makes it a standout spot, and it’s easy to see why locals keep coming back for more. Don’t miss out on this little slice of coffee heaven!“

“I never make reviews, but I love this place so much that I want to make sure it gets the traffic it deserves. The pastries are amazing (and I have tried many places - I am French in LA struggling to find it). Lattes are on par. A must go when in Montrose.
Pastries and drinks are on the expensive side, compared to a chain like Peets and so on, but matches the quality, and I have seen more expensive for less quality.“

Inside and outside seating, friendly staff, wonderful coffee, and my favorite is the breakfast smoothie with banana and peanut butter. Clientele is classy and considerate, the staff is top shelf! “Super bright, sweet cafe with AMAZING coffee….hiding in plain sight! Just go. I know it’s next to a tacky Liquore store but look at how adorable it is on the inside. Loads of bright blue sky through the many windows. And it’s quiet n chill, PERFECT for laptop work! The espresso is full of flavor but not at all bitter nor sour like some full bodied coffee. Happiness in a cup!And they have a lil’ secret outdoor seating in the little wooden trellised thingy in the parking lot. There’s no other great coffee in this exact neighborhood so I’m so psyched it’s here!“

“Uptown Coffee in Glendale truly sets itself apart. It's an Armenian gem that effortlessly outshines Starbucks with its unique offerings and ambiance. The coffee is exceptional, and the Banana Nutella Crepe is just heavenly. What makes it even more special is the occasional live piano music that fills the space, enhancing the cozy atmosphere. A visit here offers not just a coffee, but a cultural experience. Highly recommended!“

“Great tasty phenomenal meal. I had Ube pancakes, brisket waffle sandwich, lemon ricotta waffle with fried chicken. Everything was superb, the only thing I would complain is that when the waitress asked what celebrity I wanted on my latte, I said "P.Diddy" and she would not allow this ??? her response was "we don't allow that here, we won't allow that anywhere!"“

“Totally worth the 70 minute drive. Delicious food and great Taiwanese hospitality. Friendly, attentive staff and wonderful atmosphere. Minced Pork (Lu-Rou) Rice, fully loaded delicious stewed pork with egg. Meats are juicy and tender, kinda on the sweet side. Clamshell bun (Gua Bao) comes with tender thick cut pork, a bit on the salty side, but very well cooked. Fatty but not greasy. Thousand layer pancake with egg and basil was crispy and flaky. The basil flavor is a wonderful addition. Scallion bread sandwich was what we expected. Same tender thick cut pork, very happy to eat this. Next time I will probably get the beef, too much pork belly today Wonton soup is very classic, if you like shrimp wontons, you have to try this. We ended the meal with Hakka mochi and Oolong tea, the mochi tasted just like the ones in Taiwan. The tea was fragrant and is just the perfect compliment to the mochi. Overall an amazing meal with warm and friendly people, highly recommend!“

“This is by far the worst breakfast experiences I have ever had. If I could put zero stars I would. We put our order for scrambled eggs and eggs Benedict. Waited an hour and a half, finally went in to see what was going on and our order was never made. (Computer mistake) which I understood so then I asked to have our order to go. We waited and our food wasn’t put in to go containers. So we ate our food and they messed up scrambled eggs. They were inedible. Overall just terrible. They had such high reviews it was very upsetting.“
