“This place is very convenient. It's a shame that the Employees are very unprofessional the reason why is because I went to order a Sandwich and when I got home and I opened it up I found a black hair in the Sandwich that's just gross. People, please check out your food before you eat it. Otherwise, you end up like me with extra topping on your sandwich.“

“Totally worth the 70 minute drive. Delicious food and great Taiwanese hospitality. Friendly, attentive staff and wonderful atmosphere. Minced Pork (Lu-Rou) Rice, fully loaded delicious stewed pork with egg. Meats are juicy and tender, kinda on the sweet side. Clamshell bun (Gua Bao) comes with tender thick cut pork, a bit on the salty side, but very well cooked. Fatty but not greasy. Thousand layer pancake with egg and basil was crispy and flaky. The basil flavor is a wonderful addition. Scallion bread sandwich was what we expected. Same tender thick cut pork, very happy to eat this. Next time I will probably get the beef, too much pork belly today Wonton soup is very classic, if you like shrimp wontons, you have to try this. We ended the meal with Hakka mochi and Oolong tea, the mochi tasted just like the ones in Taiwan. The tea was fragrant and is just the perfect compliment to the mochi. Overall an amazing meal with warm and friendly people, highly recommend!“

“Casual coffee / tea shop that also has specialty pastries. Highly recommend their Espresso Cloud iced. It's delish. Also recommend trying the Black Sesame Dark Chocolate Cookie, the Milk Cream Bun, and the Yuja Kumquat Tart; all three are very delish and not too sweet.“

“I can't say enough nice things about Belles. The staff is great and the bagels are the bomb! I love their new full service restaurant as I used to order from them through door dash or postmates during covid. Super friendly and wonderful space!! Go!“

“From the first interaction with staff till the very last, loved every part of my visit. They were very busy that day but the guy was so sweet and attentive. He was the only one serving the tables but remained super kind. I ordered the red chilaquiles with carnitas and asked for the spicy salsa to pour on top and wow - amazing flavor. Truly recommend these chilaquiles. I want to go back!“

“I enjoy a specialty coffee shops.. and this one hits the spot just like their coffee and pastries...
Was on business travels and enjoyed walking 2 blocks over to this place for great espresso.. great service with gentle kindness (we need more of this in this current world)... and a great banana loaf perfectly moist and size and well balanced sweetness. I came three times in three days. Thank you Lena.
Nice seating outside for people watching and ample room for morning or afternoon breaks...inside seating aswell.. cozy and comfortable.
Thank you. I shall be back next time im here on business again. Soon.“

“Far too packed inside, makes for an extraordinarily loud and less than pleasant dinning experience. Better to eat on the patio, not on the street. The food portions are a little lackluster but the options are expensive. Get water and your drink for there are too few servers to attend to timely refills. This is the type of place you would expect to have carafes of juice and personal pots of coffee but nah, cant be bothered. Cocktails are whats on one of the two menus, so that accounts for part of the noise, too.“

“My favorite local coffee shop, I absolutely love my crema iced latte! The espresso was smooth and bold without being bitter, and the banana cream top took it to another level. It added the perfect amount of sweetness with a rich, creamy texture and a delicious natural banana flavor that wasn’t overpowering. Every sip was balanced and refreshing. If you’re looking for a unique twist on an iced latte, this is definitely worth trying. Can’t forget the best customer service from all staff.“

“Solid local coffee spot with tremendous vibes. The interior is real neat, plus I dunno if it was intentional or not but I ordered a drink for myself and my lady friend, who wasn't there, and the barista put my drink in a black cup and hers in a pink cup. Just sheer genius. I think she registered I said it was for my female friend so she did it on purpose but either way, mad good.
The maple latte is real nice, good coffee with maple syrup is always the best. Would get again.“

“If you add protein powder to a bowl, you will be raw dogging it. Thought it would be mixed in… if you let it melt a bit you can mix it in yourself. I was, however, impressed w the amount of fruit they give you. The front worker was sweet. Shaded outdoor seating available. It’s a cute vibe.“

“Kumquat Coffee is one of the best specialty coffee spots in LA. The quality is genuinely next level — you can tell they really care about sourcing and how every drink is made.
The space is minimal and aesthetic, but pretty small, so it’s more of a quick stop than somewhere to stay for hours. There’s usually a line, but it moves fast.
Drinks are the highlight — especially their pour-overs and unique lattes. Prices are on the higher side, but it feels justified for the quality.
Downsides: limited seating if you want to sit and work.
Overall, a must-visit if you’re into proper coffee, not just cute cafés. Great coffee!“

“This is the best coffee shop around, no question about it. Their roasts are awesome and in this time of quarantine, is THE place to get your beans if you want quality coffee at home. You can order them on their website.“

“I am a coffee fanatic and always looking for the best coffee spots every place I go. I can say hands down Saint Coffee Shop is by a mile by favorite coffee spot in all of LA. Oftentimes, I find coffee shops tend to pour too much milk and drown out the espresso, but Saint’s Iced Vanilla Latte is perfect - just enough milk to balance but you can still taste how great the espresso is. The pastries are also fantastic, and I love the cinnamon roll and how fluffy and dough-y it is. I will say it is very difficult to find seating, especially on a weekend, because the place gets so busy, but even just grabbing your coffee and pastries to go is so worth it. I can’t recommend this place enough!“

“Probably the only coffee shop around here that I keep coming back to without thinking twice.
Great coffee, great people and a vibe that’s hard to fake. The nursery next door is a nice touch too — grabbing a coffee and ending up leaving with a new plant has happened more than once.
Kaleido just feels like one of those places that gets everything right.“

“I came here for gelato, and it was absolutely delicious! Both the sugar cone and the cup were excellent. The strawberry flavor is my favorite, and it was simply perfect. We also brought our little dog with us, and she was welcomed so warmly and received lots of attention. We’re so happy we found this place. The atmosphere is beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully maintained down to every detail. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a delicious afternoon treat.“

“I write for a music and coffee blog called Crooners In Coffeeshops, in which I interview local musicians at local coffeeshops. My writeup reflects the positive experience that I encountered at Found Coffee on our interview date. Lost in Eagle Rock? Wander into Found Coffee to get your fix of delicious coffees, relaxing specialty teas, and mouth-watering pastries. From hand drips to bourbon vanilla lattes to Moroccan mint green teas, there is a beverage for every type of preference. But the bread winners *hee hee* are the scrumptious baked goods displayed in the case next to the counter. Caramel polenta coffee cakes, ube pilinut pies, vegan/gluten-free muffins and more call to you as you gt ready to pay for your drink, and boy is it hard to say ‘no!’ I opted for the Nutella puff pie with a lavender iced tea, a perfect combination of sweet and savory to sing to the senses. With plenty of space to settle yourself down at, there is absolutely no excuse not to meet at Found Coffee for a study date or to catch up with an out of town friend. Its own parking lot and non-congested neighborhood parking make it unsurprising that it’s a popular place to be at any time of the day. Their community billboard showcasing local charities, events, services and everything in between prove that anyone who visits the shop is an immediate friend to the lovely people who work there. Discover your new favorite coffee spot at Found Coffee.“

The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and genuinely friendly, making it the perfect spot for any occasion. We chose to eat outside on the lovely patio, which is spacious and relaxing. Whether you’re here for a sit down meal to catch up with friends, or need a quick to go pastry or dessert, Aroma will never disappoint.
This can be a very popular spot, so prepare for a small line and wait for an open table.
Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options as well. Many of the pastries and desserts are vegan and/or gluten free.

“This is by far the worst breakfast experiences I have ever had. If I could put zero stars I would. We put our order for scrambled eggs and eggs Benedict. Waited an hour and a half, finally went in to see what was going on and our order was never made. (Computer mistake) which I understood so then I asked to have our order to go. We waited and our food wasn’t put in to go containers. So we ate our food and they messed up scrambled eggs. They were inedible. Overall just terrible. They had such high reviews it was very upsetting.“
