“This is by far the worst breakfast experiences I have ever had. If I could put zero stars I would. We put our order for scrambled eggs and eggs Benedict. Waited an hour and a half, finally went in to see what was going on and our order was never made. (Computer mistake) which I understood so then I asked to have our order to go. We waited and our food wasn’t put in to go containers. So we ate our food and they messed up scrambled eggs. They were inedible. Overall just terrible. They had such high reviews it was very upsetting.“

“Hands down, one of my favorite restaurants in LA. My husband and I visit here 2-4 times a month. All the locations are beautiful and unique, but our favorite is Sherman Oaks. It's our home local restaurant, and the entire staff knows us and takes great care of us. It was just our 17th anniversary, and the staff made us feel so special. But then again, they always make us feel special, so we just love everything about this place. Our go-to must-haves are the chicken sliders, fries, and the little gem. And to end the meal, we order vanilla lattes, the best cake and ice cream. It's simply the best!“

“I just had lunch with my two daughters, ages 12 and 15. It was our first time here.

We ordered three plates: two 3-birria taco combo plates and one order of vampire tacos with chorizo. We tried all the sauces that came with them, along with a 24-ounce horchata.

My girls and I are usually pretty loud. We talk. We’re animated. We gush over the food.

But when we ate these tacos, we ate in silence because the food was that good. To speak would have taken us out of the moment. So we said nothing. We just sat there, lost in our own thoughts, luxuriating in tender meats, spicy red sauce, and complex flavors.

This is how you get tweens to enjoy family time: really good tacos.

And guess who told me about this place? The 12-year-old. Apparently, it’s trending. I recommend it too.“

“The ramen 🍜 here is really good and the quality of the food is impressive. Ramen 🍜 bowls costing around $20.

I also tried the curry chicken 🐔 rice. The portion was a bit small, and the chicken was quite shredded, but the flavor was still pretty good.👍

“I love Freddo. Their coffee and ice cream are fantastic (I love all of their Dulce de Leche flavors). Their empanadas, medialunas, and alfajores are great too. The people working there is nice and friendly. There is a nice patio in the back too. Parking can be tricky but you can always find a spot if you move away from Ventura. It’s open late too, so if you are looking for a espresso in the evening, this may be just the place for you“

This beautiful cozy ramen spot is just perfect in every way. Their appetizers are great, service and ambience simply the best and the ramen? S tier.

Creamy rich flavorful broth, tender pork cha shu. And noodles are just the right thickness.

“the size of a 4 top table in a booth being far too cramped for 3 men and a lady, the experience at Black Market was, again, top-notch. Lauren, the manager and many hat wearing server, took exceptional care of our table. Food was fired in the right order. We had courses come out at just the right times and great suggestions from the staff. The Korean bbq wings, the cauliflower, burrata with peaches, and the bolognese were perfectly cooked and delicious. Drinks are also fantastic - I had a classic Negroni. We'll be back .“

“Amazing!!! Worth the wait! Definitely my favorite brunch place now! My friend and I have been brunching our way thru LA haha and this is probably the best brunch spot we have found so far! It gets crowded bc it's so delicious and the coffee art is so much fun! You scan a QR code and upload your pic for your latte :) Such an extensive menu and lots of boozy options if you're looking for a drink. Our server was very attentive and made excellent recommendations too.

I got the Fried Chicken Lemon Velvet Waffle which was SO good - literally tastes like lemon cupcakes yummmmmmm! And the fried chicken was so tender you could cut it with a fork.

There is a parking lot in the back which gives you 90 minutes free with validation and then $2 for each 15 min thereafter. If the lot is full, drive around and you may just luck out and someone is leaving so you can get a spot. Also definite put yourself in the online waitlist before heading there - it will cut down on the wait time.

“Bacari Glendale: It is a beautiful place we have always wanted to go to. We took two friends for a belated birthday dinner (and as the staff realized it was just that, they even rewarded us with a delicious birthday dessert :-). Great service, nice ambiance, and delicious food - we had the bread (could have been a bit more for the $4,50), then shared the Mac & Cheese topped up with the pear and brie pizza that was the best.“

I'm talking perfectly seasoned beef, and delicious (but not overpowering) burger sauce, crisp vegetables, and the brioche bun is spectacular. There's no burger in Glendale that even comes close. The wings are also some of the best I've ever had and the homemade sauces are so, so tasty. The fries are perfect, and they have amazing milkshakes too. No regrets though, because I got the smash burger combo instead and it was excellent. Everything tasted freshly made, the drink came free, and the service was genuinely lovely. “I am 65 years old. We had dinner at Humble Bird Saturday night. I have never, repeat, NEVER had chicken this good. Crisp, juicy (but not dripping like other places), no grease in sight. We got mild, but used the hot honey supplied and what a combination of flavors. We also got potato salad and slaw. Both great additions to an already wonderful meal. “Today I stopped by In-N-Out Burger in Sherman Oaks, and it reminded me why this place remains one of California’s most beloved burger chains. Despite the steady line of customers, everything moved quickly and efficiently. The staff was energetic, friendly, and seemed genuinely happy to help.

I ordered my usual meal, found a seat, and within a few minutes I was enjoying a fresh burger made to order. The vegetables tasted crisp, the burger was hot and juicy, and the ingredients felt noticeably fresher than what you’ll find at most fast-food restaurants. The fries came out hot and fresh as well, exactly how they should be.

What I appreciate about In-N-Out is that they don’t try to be something they’re not. The menu is simple, the food is consistent, and they focus on doing a few things exceptionally well. “Came just before close on a Monday night to pick up a pepperoni. The shop is often bustling during lunch and dinner and the last few orders where getting boxed up as I came in. Grabbed the sodas we ordered and the pizza and headed out.

The pizza is delicious. A crunchy chewy crust throughout that makes you want to dip those crusts and a not too sweet sauce. While greasy, the pepperoni and cheese taste great and the ratio of toppings is perfect. Even the flat parts of curust offer a little crunch as you bite. I'm not an expert by any means but my wife who technically came from Brooklyn as a wee lass gives it a stamp of approval. If I recall correctly we had a couple slices ages ago here and the white pie should not be missed.“

It was great to see how welcoming the owner was. From the moment we walked in, it felt like we had known him for years. He came out from the back shook my hand and took the time to listen as I described the type of pizza my boys like.

The place is small but give you a home like feel inside from the moment you walk in. The outdoor area in the back is a beautiful set up. One of my favorite parts was the side window where you can actually see the pizza being made.

The service was incredible, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the pizza itself was a true 10/10. The owner even came back out to wish us safe travels home, which says everything about the kind of place this is.

Places like this are rare nowadays. Its nice to walk into a business and feel genuinely welcomed, not just treated like another dollar coming through the door.
