I wanted to make this reviews because the staff is always outstanding there. I truly like that panda location on foothill, I believe that the general manager was serving up my food. The portions were nice, I’ve been to LA Cañada Panda, Paxton, Lakeview locations and from my perspective the customer service and food is always on point on foothill Panda. Even though I work in fast food too, I truly believe this panda on foothill is the best. I go there once a week or sometimes twice a week the quality there is outstanding there. I truly appreciate it and for that reason I’ll be returning soon.“

“I happen to see this new restaurant, location, and thought I would give it a try!! I ordered my favorites. Jasmine, green tea, hot and sour soup, garlic, string beans, and honey walnut shrimp. Everything was more than I expected and the garlic green beans were the best I’ve had anywhere!! The staff was very attentive yet not hovering. It was very clean and simple, decorations. Plenty of parking you just need to make sure it’s not 10 minute parking or handicapped.“

He was able to substitute the item for me without issue. When I arrived, he confirmed my whole order for me and visually showed me that everything was there. Portions and quality were great. “We walked up and weren't sure if the place was open, but luckily some other patrons walked up at the same time so we followed them in. So glad we did! This is one of those Chinese places that opened when Adam was a lad and hasn't changed its approach since. The carpet looked original (and therefore quite worn, but that is literally the only thing I would change if I bought the place. I'd pay the chef whatever they wanted to stay, keep the service staff, keep the decor, and above all else, keep the menu. Traditional Chinese-American restaurant menu (quite long but mostly just variations on the same dozen recipes, swapping out proteins), but extremely well executed. We are new residents of the Valley and we will be regulars here.“

“Great chinese restaurant, the noodles are very fresh and the meat tasty. The beef roll appetizer is a good size. Everyone liked the soup as well. My only wish would be a way to make the dish spicy without chili oil as it makes the dish even more oily.“

“I used to come here years ago. I worked basically a few doors down at the Dispensary. I haven’t been around in years but I was over in the area and I stopped by. The stand out here is the Spicy Orange Chicken!!! It was perfectly fried and the jalapeños were the perfect complement. The noodles had a great chew to them and my two other sides had a lot of flavor. I went with teriyaki chicken and mushroom chicken.
There are chili oils on the counter and sriracha to take to your table. This is one of the hole in the wall places that I love.“

I got my order to go, barbecue pork fried rice and sweet and pungent shrimp.

The portion size on the barbecue pork fried rice is really good, really large. The rice was cooked perfect, the flavor is definitely there. I would get this dish again.

The sweet and pungent shrimp was okay I suppose. Way too much sugary sauce if you ask me. Also, they do use smaller size shrimp then some other places in the area. I do like the fact that they do include broccoli with the order. I believe the amount/quantity of Shrimp portion size is just a tad smaller than what I would have liked. I'm not sure if I would order this dish again though. Maybe the experience is a little bit better in person. Please keep in mind, this was a to-go order that I got.

Parking is plentiful, even though it's on Reseda and Ventura Boulevard basically. There is a free parking lot that you can park in. If you come for lunch during the week, it's definitely busy, so be prepared to park maybe a little bit further away than you'd like to.

Overall, for takeout, this place was pretty good. I have to try this place in person another time when I have more time. But all in all, I would definitely give it another try.“

“$8 combo with decent sized portion--chow mein, fried rice and a meat! Can't beat that! No frills restaurants. They don't soak their rice in oil like many Chinese restaurants. Good orange chicken, also saw they have jalapeño chicken and fried banana.

Parking might be tough in this neighborhood but it's free.

“This is my go-to spot for food after a trip. The last thing you want to do when you come home from traveling is cook and this restaurant always hits the spot! Lots of vegetables, large portions, fresh hot green tea and soup with each meal when you eat in. They have lunch and dinner combos, but honestly everything on their menu is awesome. My favorites include orange chicken, szechwan sliced bbq pork, mongolian beef, honey walnut shrimp and the dish I order every single time I go: buddha’s delight. It’s packed with various vegetables in a slightly sweet sauce that delivers the nutrients your body is craving.

They offer take out, but I suggest dining in to get the full experience. The walls are decorated with a mix of artwork and images of their food while a pop station plays in the background. You’ll sometimes find the kids doing homework at one of the tables during the week. They’re sustainability friendly too, so if you’d like them to package something up in your own container, they’re happy to do so. So grateful to have a traditional chinese restaurant that’s run by a family like this in the area.“

“We ordered catering for a large birthday party (around 16 people) and were very happy with not only the food, but our whole experience. We called during lunch hour 2 days before and Mary took our number to call us back. She took our order and was willing to accommodate the large party/order, even though it wasn't listed specifically on their menu. When my husband arrived to pick up the order, everything was ready on time, fresh, and hot! He mentioned that upon picking up the order he met a nice and thankful staff. Our guests were very happy with the food and we had tons of leftovers for our guests to enjoy even after the party. Definitely recommend and sending a big THANK YOU!!“

I was here often around the end of 2019.
I remember they used to have good chicken wings. I haven't been here since then untill today, and I won't be here maybe for years atleast since I eat almost everywhere.

By the way... if you're on a budget, this place is a good place to eat. Their portion is generous and the foods are good. The Chinese lady who take your orders, scoop the foods, and charge you on the register has been very nice everytime I visit this place, doesn't matter how long she hasn't seen me, she's always kind.“

Their togo packaging is top tier. Insulated bags and followed the instructions I put in the notes.

Family is sick right now so no grocery shopping and no cooking. We rarely order Chinese because of togo quality sometimes but today we were craving.

Super glad we chose here. The food was delicious, it came hot and ready to eat, no reheating needed. The chicken dishes were really good and not just all breading. Flavor great and not too greasy. The bbq pork chow fun was better than expected. Full on pork slices so tender and not dry! And we shared the hot sour soup, but i ate most of it. It was so good!

When we feel better and are up for chinese again, definitely will try this place in person.“

“No dine in so I won’t review service and atmosphere. Crab Rangoon was good. Orange chicken was fairly good but some pieces had more orange flavor than others. Black pepper beef had lots of vegetables and would have preferred more beef, flavor was good but could have been more peppery. Xo sauce string beans didn’t have much flavor, but I tasted the sauce in the bottom of the container and it was good so maybe the beans need to marinate more. I’ll try it again tomorrow and see if it tastes better. So, all in all, I’d say the food is kind of average.“

“The lunch special here is amazing and for the price, it's totally worth it. I came here yesterday to grab lunch when my wife was getting her face treatment nearby. I saw this place before on Google Map and looked at it so I knew it was an option to get food from here if I was hungry. So when I was walking around the plaza this place is in, I saw that they had a lunch special and I thought it was a deal. The lunch special is the Combo B where you get 2 entree, 2 side, egg rolls and a can soda. So when I walked inside, they were already kind of busy. When it was my turn, I asked for the chow Mein, kung Pao chicken and orange chicken for my combo. They were out of orange chicken so they asked if I mind waiting which I didnt and it didn't take long for them to bring out the new batch. I ate my food inside of this place, they have limited seating here so be aware. They give you like 2 chili sauce packets, 2 soy sauce packets, 1 sweet and sour sauce and 2 fortune cookies. If you want more sauces then they will charge you for it. The portion of food they give here is great, bigger than other popular places. I like the Chow Mein and Kung Pao chicken, the orange chicken is a different taste to me but it's not that bad. They were getting good business when I was here and everyone else was taking advantage of their lunch special too.
