Janice Aron Britteny Carsten and Stephanie always do a great job I'm making you feel like you're the only one in there even though it's always very busy because the food is so good. Lynn is new, but she was not an exception to the great experience we have gotten used to. The views are also amazing.“

“One of the best restaurants in Lake Tahoe! We’ve been coming up to the lake for over 30 years. Many of the restaurants are overcrowded, overpriced and underwhelming. This place is outstanding. The service was impeccable, the heirloom tomatoes & fresh mozzarella salad was well presented and delicious- a new take on caprese. The halibut and the rack of lamb were top notch. And it was a lovely setting along the river. Can’t wait to go back for another truly memorable dining experience.“

“Another of our favorites when visiting the North shore of Lake Tahoe. Cozy, Cabin-ey feel, right on the golf course in the woods. The meals have been delightful, the wait staff does a great job with probably too many tables/customers. The bartender is knowledgeable and experienced. Lots of good wine info. We'll be back!“

“Wow just wow (food wise this is not a review of casino itself) usually when i go to eat and see something with a single burger around 12$+ i just know I'm gonna be ripped off but no the burgers here we're genuinely good the price felt worth it, not to mention the Tacos were genuine Mexican tacos even my mother was surprised when she realized a white guy cooked them since he really captured the Mexican spirit in tacos and salsa overall u will be back when i visit reno“

“The Sawyer is a lively and fun place to dine. Service is excellent. We had the beef stroganoff, portobello mushroom on brioche bun, cheesy loaf were all made to perfection. Yum! Special shout out to the cheesy loaf— we would go back just for that. It is that good! While the room was full of energy, the entire experience was relaxing and we got to enjoy our meal and have nice conversation. Our server did a great job! And we were never rushed. We had a wonderful night. We will be back!“

“Great experience for our anniversary. We went later in the night and there was almost no one in the restaurant. They seated us at their best table. Food was amazing, we are thinking they might have beat our favorite steakhouse! The bone marrow crust on the steaks was a game changer. Best carrots we've ever had as well. Loved everything we got: grilled asparagus salad, the duck appetizer, two steaks, fingerling potatoes, s'mores lava cake, and tart.“

“In all honesty, we ended up not eating here. The menu here on google was an old winter menu, so when we looked at the menu on site, we didn't see anything we wanted. Maybe call the restaurant or try to find a current menu. the service staff was wonderful. They sat us with glasses of water, and were apologetic about the menu miscommunication. We left, but I left them a tip for their troubles.“
