“Fantastic experience! My family and I came in and had a great dinner with delicious burgers. Our waitress (didn’t get her name) was incredibly friendly with our 1 year old son. He absolutely LOVED her. She was making him laugh and laugh while mom and dad had 2 delicious burgers. I would highly recommend checking them out!!“

Because of my health issues, I don't have the appetite that I once had. I dropped in for a hamburger and was not disappointed. “Great spot to get a quick eat. Burgers start at $9.99 & go up to $12.99, I believe. Service was great & the food came out super quick. I ordered the spicy smash burger. Honestly, it was pretty good.

The only change I would suggest is to substitute the regular cheese with pepper jack since it is the spicy version of the smash burger.

Also, I would lean towards ordering the curly fires with the order instead of the regular fries. The regular fries are okay, I feel that the curly fries had a lot more texture & flavor to offer that goes well with the meal.

All in all, I'd go back if I find myself in the area. They just gotta be careful in case some sea crustacean, like a Plankton, tries to steal their burger formula for himself.“

“Our furbabies love the "pup meals" at In-n-Out. We went yesterday for our furbabies 12th birthday and had a HUGE order for their birthday party with family. Mia helped us out at the drive-thru. She saw our furbabies in the car and we told her it was their birthday and told her what we were doing. She was so amazing!! She was patient with us and our order. As we drove thru to pick up our food, she came to the window and said "hi, it’s me again" and handed us 1 of our bags, which was the food for the furbabies. Inside the bag, was a hand written note on a napkin that said "Happy Birthday". We were so touch that she went above and beyond to make our babies birthday special that we told the other employees that she needed a raise! One of our babies has a heart condition that he wasn’t suppose to be with us anymore so this gesture was so special and made our day!! Thank you again Mia!!!!!“

If you are adventurous try your burger animal style, better yet, make your fries animal style. You can also request protein style or with ketchup & mustard. “We skipped dinner and got hungry late at night. This was open around the time and they had just recently remodeled their restaurant. The food was great, the prices were reasonable and the restaurant was clean and sanitary. The staff were average, they were easy to engage and friendly.“

“It was our anniversary dinner tonight so it’s a special deal. We arrived to a nice young man taking our car at valet. We were greeted by a manager and two host team members. They said happy anniversary to us on the welcome. The manager sat us and was so kind and engaged with us. We sat on the yard overlooking the river. The beauty and ambiance 5 star. Aaron our server was kind, professional, attentive and gave us space as needed. We asked his recommendations for drinks and food. He was spot on. Please recognize Aaron for his service to us. The food and drinks were amazing. I had the surf and turf & my husband had the crab cake all prepared wonderfully. I highly recommend rays and we totally thank you. We both manage restaurants for work and you know how hard a work day is right now w staffing and business booming. It was an escape for us and we greatly appreciate it. “Honestly, I don’t remember the last time I was in a place with such great service. I spoke with who I believe is the owner, and he gave me a brief history of the place ( since the 80s). He made sure to ask, before I brought it up, if I was ok with the ingredients and proceed to list them. He offered fries and soda to which I declined, but he must’ve confused my hesitation ( I don’t really like fries nor sodas) because he gave me free fries and a free drink when he brought the plate to my table.

He is extremely kind. I saw how he went to check in on the other table and carried conversations with each person- sharing laughs too. As soon as he saw someone getting up, he made sure to stop anyone who wanted to clean their own table, making sure they can leave without worrying about the table and cleaning up after them.

I would come here again just for the service. The food is great too, but the service stood out the most to me.“

Off rip, I knew it was gonna be bomb because my boyfriend actually has great taste and recommended it. I mean why would I date him otherwise? But I still had to be the one to taste it to believe it. Those biscuits put them on the MAP! I had lost faith in biscuits & gravy in this city. I have been let down time and time again because it was so weak. “Growing up in SoCal, burgers are a big part of life. Beyond In-N-Out, there are plenty of great local spots. I remember my neighbor’s burger joint — a highlight of block parties. Fast forward to high school, and Tip Top became a regular spot, especially since I had friends in the area. After all these years, the quality is still just as good. The charbroiled flavor, the creamy thousand island dressing, and those perfectly crispy hot fries — it’s a winning combo. I was nearly done, but a gym date was calling. I asked for a to-go box, and the guy looked a little disappointed. We both laughed and joked, “Skip the gym, finish the meal!“

I don’t eat meat so I haven’t tried the burgers, which come highly recommended. The garlic parmesan fries are excellent and enough for 3 people. Sorry I can’t say the same for the cauliflower wings or pretzels with cheese sauce. But I had the best-poured beer of my life—a fresh Scrimshaw pilsner in a sparkling-clean glass. See attached video. “So delicious, my favorite place since today! I love the clean and organic ingredients and the very careful cooking preparation, giving it all so wonderful taste. The vegan burger patty is yummy. Just be aware that the bun has eggs in it, but you can ask for a lettuce wrap like I did. The fries are top of the top in LA, same as the wagyu beef burgers. Ate it all, loved it all, plus the staff is very nice.“
