“So my experience at this place started after I was finishing a protest March so I was very tired. I decided to walk down to rodeo 72 to see what food was available to fuel my body and then I saw your establishment. I was already familiar with Hawaiian food before but this seemed different it was like a remix. I saw something that look like spam musubi so I ordered it. I ordered the spam musubi creme brulee and I thought it was good it was different the sweetness from the creme brûlé give it a little crunch it had a nice smokey taste and the sauce bring it all together I thought it was amazing. And bonus points because my partner tried some and they actually really liked it Even though they're not fond of spam.And the community felt nice with all the rodeo 72 small businesses for all together I enjoyed my time.“

“I LOVE coming here whenever I'm in the area! I got the spicy beef and some spam musubi along with a Thai tea. The spam musubi is to die for, I finished one so quick I was confused where it went ?

The spicy beef was so savory and tasted like home, and the Thai tea tastes legit. They have green tea too which l've had before and is perfect! Sweet but not too sweet.

The owners were super sweet and the ambience is so cute, very Hawaiian themed. I have no complaints at all!?️❤️“

“When you want the best Crispy Chicken you've ever eaten, Top Restaurant is your answer. They have an extensive Asian menu with authentic home recipes. All items are made fresh, as you order. To work here, you must be a family member. They guard their recipes and preparation techniques carefully. They take personal pride in every meal that they create.\n\nThese are a few of the meals that I like to order… mixed BBQ chicken katsu, teriyaki chicken, spam rice, fried rice, spring rolls, gyoza pork, beef and chicken. The hamburger and the cheeseburger are exceptional here.  The menu is so varied that I think I could eat here everyday for 6 months without repeating a dish! \n\nLocated just east of Allen Avenue, in a small shopping area. The parking lot is always available. I am usually able to park right in front of the restaurant. I like to call ahead and order. It was our first time here with friends and family for breakfast, I must say enjoyed our meals which ranged from pancakes, waffles, musubi, sausages, bacon, wow! Delicious!

It is a different set up, than any other restaurant we've been to, you go up to the counter, place your order and then you find a seat. Similar to a fast food restaurants when ordering. Other restaurants we've been to gas a hostess to greet you, take the amount of people in your party then shows you to your seats. 😋“

“Fish was fresh and flavors were great. Love that they separate the warm rice from the cold poke when you get it to go. The only thing I’d say is beware if you add cucumber: my poke container had a lot of liquid at the bottom from the cucumber salad, which created a bit of an unpleasant texture to the rest of the ingredients that were also at the bottom of the container. But overall, I really enjoyed it!“

“I’ve been looking for a poke place and happened to find this little place. Went there once and the gentleman was very nice and helpful in the selection. My husband and I tried it at home and it was spectacular! Came back today and they were so generous in the quantity. I could say the best poke place I’ve eaten! If only I could afford eating at this place everyday, I would!“

“My experience with the Pokeball was great the only thing that was missing was Ginger for my salad I didn't ask for any but I would have assumed that they would give me at least one to two small packages to go.

Service West okay did they didn't acknowledge me as soon as I got in but it looked like they were a bit busy my visit was about 15 minutes and I took my food to go.

“Awesome first experience! The traffic on Eastern had me turn into this food court. I've been to the green olive but decided for the Benton box at Poki N Roll. The tempura was lightly breaded and crispy. The portion of chicken and rice was very generous and I liked that the chop the chicken. Paola was very warm and welcoming. Thank you so much to the BOH and FOH for the great food and service. I'll be back to try other menu items.“

“I’ve been eating here since I was in high school a long time ago . The food has always been amazing and has always been perfect. They are always accommodating to the food and they have such fast service as well . Truly a hidden gem ! They’re red bean buns are AMAZING!! Perfect softness ! Additionally they’re Hawaiian BQQ mix, Hawaiian BQQ chicken , and Hawaiian NQQ beef are ALL SO GOOD!! Also their spam musubi is SOO AMAZING (my personal favorite) . “Best poke place in the area! Service is quick, staff is always friendly, the food is good and prices are reasonable.

Along with the flavor, another one of my favorite things about this place is they are not skimpy. I usually get a large and can spread it out over two days because it is so filling. The fish scoops are packed and they hook it up with the toppings and sauces.“

“This place has the most delicious food ive ever eaten. Im being real. I don't even live nearby but I get this as often as I can just so I can eat the chicken taquitos. If I was on death row my last meal request would be the taquitos. I dream about them. Im being serious. Go here. Get taquitos. And then think to yourself wow I wish I had gotten these taquitos earlier in my life, how much taquito-ing have I missed out on by not getting these more often!??!! “I dont know why this place isn’t packed! I came and got the Small with 2 protein. Double Shrimp brown rice and spring mix cucumber pineapple kale edamame and cilantro spicy mayo and sweet chilli sauce and it’s straight perfection! I added avocado and all the nuts toppings and its super refreshing crisp and fresh! Best part is you feel good after eating this amazing food! I’ll definitely be coming back for more!“

“This place is very delicious. I received the Lemon Pepper Tilapia. Prices are very reasonable. Customer Service was great! The only thing I disliked was the Sriracha provided. They had the original roster Sriracha on display but we were given the cheap Vinagre knock off.I will definitely be returning and becoming a regular.“

“If you plan on wanting to eat at home, definitely order ahead..Wait for Pupusas is usually about 20 minutes. The people there are very nice, they have reasonable prices, and I feel like they are consistent with the quality of their food( at least for the last 5 years that I've been going).. my go tos are usually Pupusas de queso con jalapeño and bean and cheese, oh and the loroco ones. Plus an order of yucca frita with chicharron.“

“What can I say, the food there is excellent. All the plates are affordable and you get a lot of food (tastes so yummy). The staff are polite, and respectful and the chefs are excellent. If you want some delicious Chinese Food or Hawaiian Grill, I highly recommend this establishment to everybody.“

“BOMB BOMB BOMBBBB!!! I clocked out of my shift and had no second thoughts to come right here! I always get the Hawaiian mix best of the best plate, assorted with short rib, teriyaki chicken, and teriyaki beef! Of course with 2 Macs. Really recommend!“

“I've been coming to this Rosemead location for several years now. Thankfully, I did not have the same issues others had and have nothing to complain about. The food comes out as I expected, portion and quality. The wait times are usually 15min so I run other errands after ordering. Prices are reasonable for the area. Parking can be a pain sometimes because there are other restaurants and businesses sharing the same small parking lot. But overall, it's been a decent experience ordering from here and I will be coming back monthly as usual.“

“This place has become my jam for Hawaiian food. And it's awesome that it's a short 10 minute drive from home.

Favorites so far include their house special mix plate and the mahi musubi. The house special mix plate comes with BBQ beef, chicken, and katsu with rice and mac salad. The meats are lean and the katsu is not heavy on the breading. Try the mahi musubi for an elevated taste, as you still get the goodness of the rice and seaweed but with a slightly crisp filet of mahi!

If you're pressed for time, call ahead to place your order for pickup. If you also plan to order fried items like the katsu or fried mahi, don't order the hour before they close as they might have cleaned out the fryer already.

There's a few parking spots but since this place is really a grab and go, it's not an issue finding parking.“
