“Villa's Tacos were amazing! and I'm not saying this just because of the hype of the Super Bowl. I'm saying this because I mean it. The tacos were just amazing to me. Not your regular everywhere tacos. These tacos were homemade recipes. I had the carne asada, pork with potato (puerco con papa) & beans with cactus (frijoles con nopal). It's a week later that I tried these tacos and I can't stop talking about them. My favorite was the beans with cactus. Soooo good. Also, the atmosphere was just so nice and lively. I truly enjoyed every minute of my visit here. Thank you Villa's Tacos, we will return.“

“Best Tacos I have ever had. No joke. Girlfriend & I stayed in Pasadena for a vacation a few weeks back, ended up getting these 4 nights in a row. I’m not even lying when I tell you this little Taco Truck was potentially the highlight of my entire vacation. God I wish I could have some more.“
“Came here not expecting much. Thought it would be just a regular taco place. I don't usually say , these are delicious tacos! But, hey these are really delicious tacos. We ordered flautas , they were perfectly fried, the crunch was crunching! The lettuce , guacamole, and queso fresco was fresh. The tacos de asada and lengua were flavorful and well seasoned. The agua de horchata tasted original not from a mix. Their flan and chocoflan was authentic and the cafe de olla was chef's kiss! My family and I will definitely be coming back! Reasonably priced and very clean ! Great polite and fast service!“

“I love taking my team to this wonderful, family run business. Teddy is super friendly, helpful, and personable, and the food is so good! They have great prices, especially on the “specials” days and give great discounts for students. This is our go to place for Mexican food while we are visiting Pasadena.“

“If you need quick Mexican food, this is a great spot.
I got the sampler to go, and it was really tasty—well cooked with good flavors. Ordering was fast, perfect if you’re in a hurry.
I’d definitely come back to try more from the menu.“

“You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, with that said I love to try a different item on it everytime I get a chance to stop by. Taste and quality are always on point. It's awesome to see the staff having a blast together with great music in the background making the experience feel fun even when there's a wait. Pricing is perfect as the portions are generous and the flavors are like to other. So happy to see this business growing as I look forward to seeing them all over the nation one day. Keep serving it up #TYQ!“

“Very comfortable place to be in. Everyone was relaxed and you could hear the staff in the kitchen communicating getting the orders out. They have good lighting, a larger modern menu board with a great selection. They had light hearted music playing and a big tv to watch the Dodger games. I was surprised to see Birria on the menu so had to get that for sure! I think I will may this my goto spot a couple days a week so I can eat better for less and no dishes to wash.“

“Hands down, some of the best Tacos and chilaquiles I’ve had. They use the freshest ingredients and make sure each dish is made to perfection. The hand made tortillas and their freshly made Jamaica are a must try! Also home to the most genuine hardworking staff.“

“Ordered at the front and took about 10-15 minutes for the food to come out.
Asada taco - $2.50 - they are pretty generous with the meat! They’ll give you red and green sauce. You can ask for both!
Shrimp taco - $3.00 - pretty good! Its not shrimp, but more of a shrimp patty? You can taste the pieces of shrimp when you bite into it as well!
Fish taco- $3.00 - theres more batter for fish - luckily the toppings help balance the oil from the fried batter. The size of the fish when i ordered to eat there was big. The one i ordered to-go was smaller. I was a bit disappointed at first but the flavor didn’t change. I asked for sauce to go as well.
Horchata - cant go wrong with it! They have regular or large!
Parking: limited! Street parking is available!“

“Tacos were fantastic! Loved the sampler of 6 to try all the varieties at a reasonable price, ended up eating 2 samplers they were so good. The chiles toreados was firey for sure, love the depth of the flavor versus just a face full of chiles, nice balance! Clean, friendly, easy access, good prices, fresh, flavorful, nothing to mark it down on. Solid!“

“Found this hidden gem by accident. Went next door to Bob's and noticed this place had a special on fish tacos. $1.25 on Sundays. They were delicious, crispy, and fresh. The toppings were good too. Didn't try the ceviche but it looked good.“

“Taco Boy is definitely a hole in the wall mexican joint. Breakfast here is definitely the best in the area especially for the price. Its a walk up to the counter and order type restaurant. No wait staff just a cashier and the chefs who are always on top of their game. My fave plate is the chilaquiles rojos. The chips and salsa alone are great. That's how you know the food is good.
It can sometimes take about 20/25 minutes for your order to be ready due to the early morning rush. Finding a table isn't too bad but again they have a loyal fan base of early bird breakfast customers who will wait in line to order. Give it a try it's definitely worth a try. Friendly on the wallet too!“

“I visit this spot whenever I'm craving delicious, budget-friendly tacos. The parking lot is friendly, with a security guard on-site to ensure safety. Just a heads-up avoid coming during Dodgers games, as it gets really crowded, making parking and wait times longer. The best part? They’re open late into the night, so you can enjoy great tacos anytime.“

“I was looking for a good taco place and I came across Covyd Tacos on Yelp and decided to try them. Unaware that they were just serving on tables under a shade during the evenings, I gave them a try and ordered asada and cabeza burritos. I became a regular after that night and they practically knew me by name. Their burritos are very delicious and their servings are generous. They also had quesadillas, and a variety of tacos. They also have Al Pastor which is really tasty. They do not accept credit cards but they accept Venmo payments. I now miss their tacos and burritos since I was only in La Puente for 5 weeks but would be their customer again if I go back to La Puente, California again.“

“Solid Hispanic food truck with great price ($2 taco and $10 burrito as of March 2026). Only inconsistency would be the chef — depending on who’s cooking the amount of meat for burrito varies. Can customize order and choose your own condiments(cilantro, avocado sauce, green chili, red chili, onion, lime/lemon wedges, etc..).“

“Some of the best tacos and special treats in east LA. There asada nachos and burritos smack. The salsa here the one of the reasons why this place is amazing it’s nice and spicy as it’s suppose to be. Anyone looking to get some good food for a great price come here and try Jason’s tacos they won’t disappoint. Thank you Jason for always keeping the salsa nice and spicy 1# reason I come here is for the amazing salsa“

“A down-home Mexican food experience run by nice women with good kind of spicy steak picado and rice and beans and corn tortillas for a good price. and the people running the very interesting sweet shop that it is inside were kind enough to turn down the loud disco music they were playing.“
“Amazing taco spot on the corner of the street! The meats are very good and full of flavor, with plenty of options to choose from. Everything is super affordable, and the grilled onions and salsas are top tier. Their horchata is very underrated too—definitely don’t skip it. One of my go-to taco spots, highly recommend!“

“recently stopped by Rambos Tacos in Baldwin Park and ordered a chorizo burrito to go, and I have to say, this place exceeded my expectations.
From the moment I walked in, I noticed how clean and well-maintained the restaurant was. The dining area, counter, and overall atmosphere showed that the staff takes pride in keeping the place welcoming and comfortable for customers.
What really stood out was the service. Both employees working were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. They took the time to answer questions about the menu and made me feel like a valued customer rather than just another order. As a gringo who works in communities like these, I know it isn't always easy walking into a new place, so being welcomed with such genuine kindness means a lot to me. I truly appreciated how comfortable and respected they made me feel. That kind of hospitality is becoming rare, and it made a great first impression.
Now for the food—the chorizo burrito was outstanding. The chorizo was packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. Every bite had a great balance of ingredients, and the burrito was generously sized without sacrificing quality. You can tell they care about what they serve.
The salsa deserves special recognition because it was absolutely fire. It had the perfect combination of freshness, flavor, and heat that elevated the entire meal. It wasn't just an afterthought on the side—it was the kind of salsa that keeps you coming back for more.
What makes Rambos Tacos special is the combination of excellent food, genuine customer service, and attention to detail. It's the type of local spot that feels like a hidden gem, where the staff cares about the customer experience and the food speaks for itself. Baldwin Park is lucky to have a place like this.
If you're looking for authentic, flavorful food and a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend Rambos Tacos. I'll definitely be back for another chorizo burrito and plenty more of that amazing salsa.“
“5 stars all across. i’ve been to their BG location as well but this one has a late night drive thru.
the appeal of al vapor style tacos is that they’re served VERY hot and minimal on the grease. they go down real easy.
great flavor asada and the salsa bar with all the fixings is kept very clean and has the icy cold temps.
would be great if they offered mexican coke. i’ve only seen the canned.“

“Dude, I’m really impressed with this little spot. The food is flavorful, fresh, and not greasy, and the gentlemen working here are kind Sinaloenses who are easy to talk to. Authentic Mexican food without the fluff. The tacos are fairly priced and GOOD, the gringa is insane if that’s your thing.
If you’re looking for something a bit lighter, I highly recommend the bowl. The flavors are spot on, the portions are generous (easily enough for two meals), and it’s hearty without being heavy.
This is my new spot. Maybe I’m a little biased since my family is also from Mazatlán, but trust me, this place is authentic and you feel good spending your money here.“

“We came back here after an year and the food still tastes the same, very delicious. The only thing that changed was that they got upgraded to a taco truck and it is called Tacos Los Poblanos. We tried chorizo tacos, Al pastor burrito and chicken Quesadilla. Every thing was on-point and the salsas were excellent. Highly recommend getting their Quesadilla with freshly handmade corn tortilla.“

Everything came out hot and fresh and the portions felt just right. It was the kind of meal that immediately makes you want to come back.
The food was the highlight from the first bite to the last. The tortillas tasted fresh and the fillings were well seasoned and juicy. Every topping felt balanced and nothing was overly greasy. The menu kept it simple and everything I tried tasted like it was made with care.

“Pretty typical taco truck, but it's the closest one and the food is always good and in stock. Burritos are my go-to, and I add sour cream. The al pastor tacos are a little sweet for my tastes, so I usually get the suadero and asada. They have bacon wrapped dogs, and nachos using round tostitos and actual nacho pump cheese like at the ballgame.“
