“The service and food was excellent overall. It was a little loud in the large room in the back of the restaurant during dinner. For those interested in an adult beverage with dinner they do not have mixed drinks (beer and wine only). Our dinner was great though and I highly recommend McPhee's.“
“I had a great time at 15 degrees C in SLO. I met a friend there and we had a nice charcuterie board and some great sparking rose! The atmosphere is upscale but warm. They have many choices of wine available for taste and to buy by the bottle. I was shocked that we were the only ones there for 2 hours, I do realize it was a Thurs. at lunch time. I would love to return again in the evening, they have a cozy fireplace inside and some outdoor seating with fire pits as well.“

“My friend and I had the best time at the Wine Merchant. The layout of the restaurants gives that market atmosphere. Pretty cool. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable about the food menus and gave great recommendations. I will definitely stop by during my next trip to Paso Robles.Parking: There are limited parking spots behind the restaurant, but there is a gravel lot next to it. Also there is street parking as well.“
“Carbon 6 is a new favorite. Went in for a quick glass of wine and stayed way too long for the great conversation with the owners and DELICIOUS food and wine. We got the burrata and a bottle of a red blend and both were fantastic. Can't wait to go back!“
“One of the coolest bars I’ve been to. Amazing vibes all around, fast and friendly customer service. Lots of free games, chess, board games and more. Also the pool table is free, and in great condition. The bartender plays vinyl, which was a nice surprise. The decor is amazing! Best yet, they have a great drink selection.“
“I don't always love going to tasting rooms in town. I like going out the rooms right at the vineyard. But this one had good reviews so we gave it a try. The room is charming, a former train station office with high ceilings and nice furniture and bar. We have discerning taste when it comes to wine, and these incredible blends of Grenache, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Mourvedre, Tannat, etc were really out of this world. We bought 4 bottles after our excellent tasting session with Jim. May join the club in the future. Highly recommend!“
“This was a very happening place last Sunday evening despite everyone losing an hour of sleep to Daylight Savings Time. Super enjoyable tasting and make no mistake--everyone who works here is passionate about their craft and wine. Loved the way the tasting room was set up, too.
