“I chanced on this place from a person I met at a bar downtown DHS. Looks kinda trashy from the outside but don't judge this book by its cover. The best Karaoke experience I've ever had and I do it a lot. A real stage, stage lighting, smoke machines and friggin A, an actual guitar player who looks like Mick Mars playing along if he knows the song and he seemed to know them all! I sang Black Keys, Deep Purple and The Who so right up his alley. Redd was impressed enough that he bought me a shot after I sang The Seeker, never had a DJ buy me a drink! Both the bartenders were super nice and drinks were really inexpensive so this place freaking rocks. Great crowd too, lots of really friendly locals. And also get this, the place has several pool tables, the longest shuffleboard I've ever seen and dog friendly too!”

“Best beer in the valley! And they have a great selection. My personal faves are Desert Citrus and Grapefruit IPA. The sours I’ve tried have all been great, too. And I love live music, especially original music. They are very supportive of local musicians and songwriters. 🍻🎶”

“The ice cream here is simply outstanding. They offer an impressive variety of flavors, from classic vanilla and chocolate to unique creations like tiramisu paletas and cookie sandwiches. Each scoop was creamy, rich, and bursting with flavor. I particular loved the churro sundae, which was the perfect sweet.”

“Got here just before sunset, place was booming! Despite being busy the food came out very quick! The al pastor is great! They said it’s from a wheel but they bring it from an offsite (Nothing beats straight from a wheel) the asada is very good too! So many salsas & toppings! Will be here for more tacos! 🌮”

“Decent enough, I only did a quick breakfast drive through but people were very nice, egg ham and cheese was good, not your McDonalds type at all, it’s a real egg ham and biscuits, biscuit was phenomenal, hash browns are actually, lol ,hash brown like a breakfast portion, I wasn’t expecting that at all drive through.”

“The food is okay here. The people seemed nice enough. The burger meat tends to taste old. Usually when I eat at Jack in The box I'm happy there's a bunch of other stuff to cover up the taste of the meat.
I had the jumbo Jack with cheese and two tacos. Tacos were made correctly. The jumbo Jack had the same crappy meat but was put together correctly. Jack in the box does have the best onion rings and the jalapeno poppers are pretty good too.”

“This was our first time and we can't wait to return. The setting is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. We had the smashed cucumbers - delicious ! We were warned they could be spicy but they were perfect to our liking. The peanut sauce was so good. The recommendation of having bread was a great idea to enjoy the sauce. My husband had the pasta agnolotti the mushrooms were delicious and since he doesn't eat meat or seafood they put the lobster on the side for me to enjoy. I had the crudo as my main dish and it was SO good ! Perfect size for an entree. The coconut sauce and pineapple really enhanced this dish. The chocolate chip cookies are a MUST and our cocktails were equally delicious. We had an expresso martini and our cookies by the fire pit. It was perfect evening. And service was also excellent, we had a lot of questions and our lovely server was very patient with us and offered good advice on food choices.”

“I apologize but I have been going to get food at this location ever since they opened. I should have given a review from the start, but I wanted to wait until I truly experienced all of what they have to offer. All I have to say is, AMAZING. Everything from their carnitas tacos to carne asada nachos is the best. I can say I even drink their hot sauce lol. You want food that gives every bang for the buck, you need to go here. They are such wonderful people to deal with, which makes it even better.”

“I had tried Dave’s Hot Chicken over a year ago at a different location and, to be honest, I wasn’t impressed. The food then felt rushed, and the experience didn’t live up to the hype. Because of that, I hadn’t been back since—until today. And I’m glad I gave it another shot, because this visit completely changed my mind.

From the moment I walked in, the difference was clear. Even though it looked like only two employees were running the entire operation, the service didn’t skip a beat. They were both friendly, efficient, and focused, handling the front counter, food prep, and even cleaning with a great attitude. You could tell they cared about doing it right.

The food this time was on point. I got the hot chicken slider and fries, and everything was cooked perfectly. The chicken was juicy inside with that crispy, flavorful crust Dave’s is known for when done right. The spice level was just right—not just heat for the sake of it, but actual flavor. The fries were fresh, not greasy or soggy, and the portions were generous.

Today’s experience made me a believer in Dave’s Hot Chicken. Great food, great staff, and a totally different feel from my last visit. I’ll definitely be back.”
