“I always enjoy having an extra large no 1 which is a large bowl but with extra everything by a half portion more of extra and there egg rolls are good not too dry or oily and the spam rolls are good enough not to have soy sauce with them and there not dry but just right there pho is traditional and extremely good enough not needed to add anything extra sauce to it if you do only add a little bit but I come here every once every week so and the parking in good just only one handicapped spot but all the spaces or most of them are near the door. You will enjoy having pho here as much as I do and they can modify each dish to how you like it as well.“

“Ordered through DoorDash. This chicken pho was exactly what I needed when I wasn't feeling well. The addition of the bean sprouts, Thai basil and lime was perfect. The only thing I didn’t care for was the chicken because it was incredibly dry. The brisket was better than the chicken.“

“We almost didn’t come because of the bad reviews and thank goodness we decided to ignore those because this pho was so delicious and it would have been a shame to miss out on the experience. The atmosphere is cozy and clean and seamless with the outdoors. The staff were so friendly . My husband said the chicken bahn mi was one of the best he’s ever had. I got the shrimp boa buns and they were so freaking tasty. The pho broth was full of flavor. We will definetly be coming back here in the future!“

“If there’s one place known for Vietnamese coffee, it’s this one. That sweet, creamy, ice-cold brew will keep you wired longer than any energy drink. It’s strong, but in the best way. Don’t even bother asking for less ice because the drink is meant to be diluted. Without it, the coffee is way too concentrated (even their bottled version at Costco says to mix it with ice or water!).
As for the food, their banh mi are always solid. Fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Prices have crept up over the years, but that’s pretty much everywhere now. Still worth the visit.“

“I called in my order and walked over to pickup. While opening the front door I realized I forgot my wallet. Asked if they had Google Pay - nope, only Apple Pay. So had to walk back home to get my wallet and I confess I thought about not going back and just making my own damn lunch. I even thought about driving the 1.5 blocks, but ended up walking back and I'm so happy I did.Got the Teriyaki Chicken Bento. Normally I don't order chicken because to me it's usually bland and dry, but their teriyaki chicken was perfect. The steamed veggies were just the way I like them, they weren't crunchy and not overcooked &soggy. Tempura was really good: shrimp, sweet potato, carrot, and squash - all the ones I like! The only thing I was slightly disappointed in was the potato salad because it was American deli style and not Hawaiian. It was still very good though just a bit too mustardy for me. And I loved the pickled radish and carrots - wish they doled out a bit more though.“

“Lee's Sandwiches Banh Mi is very good and they have multiple locations in the Los Angeles area. The baguette is fresh and a combination of meats and pickled vegetables.
The Vietnamese Iced Coffee is an excellent pick-me-up. Great Combo of sweet and strong.
The young man working the front was very friendly and respectful. Although he had a toothpick in his mouth while taking my order. Not a good look, it's unprofessional.“

“My brother and I went to Pho Hoan Pasteur with high expectations as they had high ratings on Yelp.
He ordered the regular sized steak and tendon pho. He found one piece of tendon in the entire bowl, so he was disappointed. The taste of the pho broth was just OK... not the best, nor the worst he's ever had.
I had the grilled shrimp bun and it came with two egg rolls. I was disappointed as rice noodles were all broken. It felt as though the bowl was filled with the rice noodle scraps at the bottom of the bag. The fish sauce wasn't remarkable either. I added lime juice and samba.
We tried it. We probably won't return.“

“My bf and I stopped by after a long flight and seeing good reviews. The spring rolls were so good to me. The pho broth was so soothing and delicious. My bf got the broken rice with sliced pork and he said it was good. The ube coffee looked too yummy to drink, and it was also yummy!“

“I have driven by this place several times and it doesn’t look like much on the outside but I had a good feeling about it.
As soon as, we walked in the Aroma of the kitchen was Amazing!! Plenty of “pick up orders” on the countertop! Menu had lots of options. Pho and spring rolls +peanut sauce and flavors did not fail super yummy!
Customers were eating happily just like us. Service was great and attentive. Returning soon !“

“Love the shrimp spring rolls and egg rolls. My daughter loves the pho and my husband likes his grilled pork and rice. We were able to dine in at 11pm. Glad we were able to make it, esp after arriving from a transatlantic flight. Thank you for the good food.
Kid-friendliness: They have a high chair and kiddie utensils that came with a scissor.“

“The food is very flavorful and of excellent quality. The owner and server is a very friendly and warm person as well. You can tell that this is a family owned establishment but I think that adds charm. Another customer who didn’t speak english very well came in while we were eating and the owner took his time and used what little spanish he knew to help the customer to his best ability. You can tell that he goes the extra mile to make his customers happy! Would definitely come again ❤️“

We enjoyed the ambience and friendly staff too, they even have little games and coloring books for kids to be entertained. Welcome to San Pedro Saigon Oi! “I've been coming to Nam Kitchen ever since they opened over a year ago, and it’s easily become one of my favorite spots. It’s the perfect place to celebrate birthdays, hang out with friends, or enjoy a nice date night. The interior has a modern yet elegant vibe—definitely a bit more upscale than your typical Vietnamese restaurant—but the quality and portion sizes absolutely live up to it.
Nam Kitchen is a creative fusion of Vietnamese and Peruvian cuisine, and it really works!
What we ordered:
Ribeye Garlic Noodles – 8/10 ($30)
The price may look a little steep but the portions are large, and they don’t skimp on the steak. It was a LOT of steak! I asked for medium-rare, but it came out slightly more cooked than I prefer. Still, the chimichurri added a great kick and paired beautifully with the steak—it was super flavorful overall.
House Chicken Wings – 10/10 ($15)
We got seven pieces, and even after sitting for about 30 minutes while we filmed, the wings were still crispy, flavorful, and delicious. You can really taste the fish sauce—it adds that perfect umami touch.
Pho Short Rib – 10/10 ($17)
The broth is rich, aromatic, and bursting with flavor — you can really taste the fish sauce, lime, and all the fragrant spices. A huge bonus: they offer unlimited noodle refills, just like SUP Noodle Bar! The short rib was delicious, though I’ve had slightly more tender versions elsewhere — but the unlimited noodles more than make up for that. You could easily share this dish with another person, making it a great value!
Crispy Rolls - 8/10 ($9)
I like how they cut the egg rolls in half for easy sharing and serve them with fresh lettuce and carrots for wrapping. The presentation is beautiful and definitely photo-worthy. They also include fish sauce for dipping, which ties all the flavors together perfectly. I loved the crispiness of the egg rolls and the flavorful filling inside — such a satisfying bite!
Pink Petal Drink - 9/10 ($6)
I really enjoyed this drink made with strawberry purée and coconut milk — it’s super refreshing and beautifully presented with a flower garnish. It’s definitely an Instagram-worthy drink! The flavor leans on the sweeter side, so I’d recommend asking for it less sweet, or you can add a bit of water to balance it out (and make it last longer!).
Taro Coffee - 6/10 ($6)
We ordered this drink mainly for its aesthetic appeal, but since neither of us are big coffee drinkers, our rating might be a little biased. The Vietnamese coffee is quite strong and not too sweet, which true coffee lovers will likely appreciate. If you enjoy bold, robust coffee flavors, this one’s definitely worth trying!
Overall Score 9.5/10
Prices are a bit on the higher side, but the food absolutely makes it worth it. The staff are kind and friendly, though they can get quite busy at times. Parking can be a little tricky since the restaurant is located in a plaza near an apartment complex, and it tends to get crowded — even at 6 p.m. on a Saturday, the place was buzzing. I’m really happy to see how well they’re doing, and we were so grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with them!“
“Small place on 23rd and Pacific in San Pedro. Normally this kind of place you drive by. But do yourself a favor they're open for lunch and dinner only and got to stop and eat because you keep coming back.I've been eating there for 35 years. The owner is the chef right there in front of you. Snow does all her own prep work. Her son is the waiter and handles the counter and register. Pretty much a two-person show. They have an appetizer called Imperial Rolls, Almost every person that comes in orders this appetizer. Can't explain it it's just fantastic. It's like an egg roll that you wrap in lettuce and cucumber cilantro and mint dip it in a fish sauce, and when you bite down on it, you get a hot Crunchyroll wrapped with lettuce and the cucumber and herbs inside. Plan flat just good. There dinner dishes are put together with chicken or pork or beef or shrimp. You put these dishes together with different sauces and Seasonings, with some rice, noodles, fried noodles and vegetables. Hot dishes, curry dishes, fried rice and daily specials. If you like this style of food you'll love this place.“

“The food is good but it is not worth the price. I got the pho combination which was 16 dollars. I would not mind the price but they are stingy with the meat. I would not bother coming back when there are so many other options that are worth the price of admission.“

“I like their chicken banh mi. Whatever that green sauce they have it tastes good. Their bottled water is expensive. I know they want to make extra money but it is too much. $1 per bottle and they would probably sell more. FYI, I know how much a case costs at Costco. ^_^“

“My first time here because I just so happened to be in the area. I had the brisket & tendon phó. It was delicious. It had so much tendon and I loved it. Great flavor and freshness. I read some of the reviews that were negative. My experience was nothing but positive. I like to eat at mom and pop restaurants. The service was polite and attentive. Give this establishment a try. I think you’ll find it a tasty and positive experience.“

“We stopped by to order a large amount of sandwiches which we always do for long trips. The location was very clean & the cashier was extremely nice. Only the sandwiches are a bit over priced compared to 16 different locations weve been to. Instead of over pricing, should focus more on mass sales rather than higher priced products.“

“Reviews are mixed, but my experience was alright and Id give 3.8/5. The pho broth is on the sweeter side and had a lot of flavor, which I liked. The egg rolls were probably precooked or sitting under a heat lamp since it came out literally a minute after ordering. The noodles in the pho were pre-cooked and one big clump, but I was able to give it a few stirs, and it was good to go.
Overall atmosphere is dated. It's old style mom and pop. There was a worker in there playing a game or watching a drama on his phone with the speaker at max volume, so it was so distracting and annoying. Very rude to customers trying to dine.
Service was good. Orders taken promptly, and the grandma came over to check up and refill waters.“

“I LOVE this place! The food is authentic and delicious. I'm in Long Beach about once a year and I make sure to make time to go to this place. I always have the Pho. The broth is legit!
The people that work there are very nice and keep it super clean. If I lived closer, I'd be there a couple times a week...“

“As a solo diner I visited this branch of the family owned business and sat at the counter top seating area since all the tables were taken. Popular place guys! I ordered “large rib eye pho” bowl was very very generous and took a persistent slog at finishing the bold portion! Shame the beef was well done and firming up rather than rare as it stated on the menu. Broth was well seasoned and complex and rather tasty. Ingredients like the Thai basil and bean sprouts were fresh and crispy. My iced Vietnamese coffee was strong but welcomed! Staff were working well under pressure will definitely come back and try other things dishes. I’m happy I came across this restaurant.“
