“😃New Favorite Place!!!! Rancho Santa Margarita in the Dove Canyon Plaza. We really needed a great breakfast place in town. It has tons of indoor and outdoor seating. Super nice place to meet friends, have a group or get some work done. 🥐Beautiful cafe, great service. “Came Up To Work In The Area Today To Repair Some Horse Trailers And I Was Told By A Local Resident James Lacono Megan Coltrane And A Couple Of Others. What an Amazing Place. The atmosphere was incredible the outside seating area look very relaxing. It was busy when I was there so I chose to sit inside nice tables lots of TVs. The staff was amazing and the owner was a very nice lady. I apologize. I forgot her name but she thanked me and it was just a great time. I will definitely be back.”

“Amazing and cute little restaurant. Three servers were like hawks (in a good way) and instantly on top of anything and extremely efficient. The food was great, the cheese bread with garlic and Tiramisu were especially notable. We paid under $80 (before tip) for two meals, drinks, the cheese bread side, and desert, and one of the meals was the special which included a salad for $30. Plenty of food, very good food, cute and efficient restaurant, and a great price (let alone for being in Irvine these days). 10/10 would eat at again.”

“Great spot! Parking can be a little tricky in the front when it’s crowded, so I recommend parking behind the restaurant—it makes things much easier.

The food was delicious, and you should definitely ask about the specials. I had the focaccia sandwich special and it was so good I finished it pretty quickly. Even the desserts were impressive—the picture I included was taken within the first minute of it hitting the table because we couldn’t wait to dig in.

I would absolutely come back again. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but worth it for the quality and experience 😅”

“Had a great experience at Saffron Bakery. Everything was fresh, buttery, and beautifully made. The pastries had perfect flaky layers, rich flavor, and looked just as good as they tasted. The pistachio pastry and chocolate croissant were especially amazing.

You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients and put care into their baking. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere too. Definitely one of the best bakeries I’ve tried in the area, highly recommend!”

This is easily the best indian food I've had in OC. Generous portions, hospitable attitude, and 'refillable' rice! Not too expensive either given the portion size, SO worth it. DONT WALK RUNNNN here!!! All the spice variants are so accessible from mild to medium to spicy- There's also indian spicy (the hottest level) which I got, and it was PROPERLY spicy. Mild was not spicy at all if you don't want that. Seriously though, fabulous place, workers, and owner. Lovely.”

From the aroma of fresh, high quality coffee to the wooden earthy, natural color theme of the inside of the shop, it is a pleasant experience. The Japanese custom of paying attention to detail and caring for each coffee bean, much like sushi when it comes to rice, is surely not lost here. I am an impatient person, but I actually enjoy waiting here for my beans to be roasted. The black coffee is so good, it reminds me of my time in Japan.”

“Been here a couple times and their cinnamon rolls (especially when fresh out the oven) are UNREAL! Friendly staff and I appreciate how transparent they are with how much time is left for certain pastries. The new hours also help too, was nice to not come in with a huge line out the door. “Omg,this place is the best.
I was staying at a hotel,in a nearby city and ordered via Uber Eats.
The prices were very reasonable,food choices seemed good,so I took a chance and tried it.
I am so happy,I tried it. The food was so tasty,fresh,not greasy,the meat was so tender,not dry.
I got a kebab, and the Greek fries,and honestly, it was too much food for me.
My husband got a buy one bowl,get another free deal and baklava.
The bowls were huge,packed with everything tasty,and the baklava is divine.
My one complaint is the closest location to me is Long Beach.
If one were to open in Rolling Hills Estates,Rancho Palos Verdes or Lomita,life would be grand,and I would eat here at least once a week.
This is a great place,you must try it.

“This joint is serving up real ingredients prepared like that Peruvian uncle I never had. I was impressed by the actual hand cut yucca vs some other joints precut yucca. That green sauce is obviously made in house and done right. The ceviche isn’t the prettiest I’ve eaten, but ranks high in the yum factor. Definitely a restaurant worth another visit.”

“Had a nice evening at Dominicos on the lake this evening. My wife and I had reservations and were fortunate to ask Kory for a patio table which he accommodated. Michael took us to our table and was very kind and professional. Pedro came by with our bread and water and said hello. He is one of the hardest working individuals at the restaurant. Eddie our server came by and took our orders with a bottle of Austin Hope and bread to start. My wife ordered a chicken breast salad and I had the chef's special stroganoff which was amazing. Unfortunately my wife's salad came out 30 minutes after my stroganoff which was a cardinal sin in the restaurant business and we mentioned it was not acceptable. Eddie apologized and we also had Steven, the GM, come by and also apologize and ensure the salad would be out shortly. The salad was delivered, of course after I ate my entree and Steven dropped off and apologetic gift certificate for an appetizer during our next visit. We also ordered an additional beef stroganoff plus an order of meatballs to take home for tomorrow. We undertake things happen and it's certainly nice to see the restaurants busy again but a party of two receiving their entrees 30 minutes apart is not conducive with quality service. I am guessing the chef either misplaced the order or overlooked the obvious and we hope next time we will not have such issues as the restaurant is very good and in a fantastic location. Michael also came back around and stated he was concerned about this mishap and would look into this. As a retired government administrator and former restaurant manager in my college days I expect the simple things like entrees being delivered at the same time to be in sync with quality service and dining. We will be back and see if in fact this was an isolated incident. Good food and ambiance plus.
