“It is just a perfect example of a well prepared, fresh Mexican food.
Great flavor, perfect amount of spice.
The Carne asada was perfect. Not piece of chewy.
Personally, they are small (street size) for $3.
I would gladly pay $5 to $7 for a full-size taco.
The salsa was not spicy (I have a very high spice tolerance), but they did have Fresh Grilled Jalapeños available.
The menu is simple, which is appropriate for the restaurant and kitchen size.
The staff was very welcoming and friendly.
The restaurant was exceptionally clean and organized.
I will definitely return when I'm in the area.
It is also worth driving out of town for.
Parking: Street parking and a parking lot on the side of the building“

“This place is wonderful. The food is good ...like hittn up your aunties or cuzns house for grubn and chilln. So much respect and appreciation for small family businesses holding it down in rural towns.Plus the 76 gas station next door is the cheapest ive seen. Yes, spend all your money here. Support small family businesses.“
“In honest opinion! They sell the best burrito you can find in the small cities in that direction. Best price and size! The service is great and yes they do speak a bit of English, but that's how you know they sell the best food! They sell all the best like Lengua, Buche, cabeza and tripa.“

“Josue whipped up handmade, piping hot papusas at their pop-up outside the El Salvador Consulate in Fresno, and they were BOMB!! I got one of each filling they offer: cheese, bean, chicharron, especial, and loroco. Crispy exterior and fluffy, STUFFED interior (topped with their homemade pickled cabbage and carrot spiced slaw and red salsa)…I’m more than impressed with the work he and his sister put in, and there were lots of customers there in the short time I was there!!“

“Very clean place inside & outside, well arranged where they serve you a variety of dishes. I stopped here for the pupusas which is my favorite Salvadorian dish. The people tending the place were amicable & welcoming and had a very positive vibe to them. I ordered a pair of pupusas along with two Pacifico beers and it was very satisfying after a long day of driving. Mendota California rules! USA
Vegetarian options: Loroco pupusas“

“I ordered a plate that was makeshift vegan. It was a plate of rice, beans, and veggies. I don't think they normally do any "vegan" dishes, but they were flexible and made exactly what I wanted. And you know what, it was delicious. They also made the small mistake of giving me pinto beans instead of black beans, but I did not mind, since I like them both.
Vegetarian options: As I mentioned in my review. I got a plate with 3 sides - rice, beans, and mixed veggies. They gave me pinto, but they have black beans as well.“
