“What an amazing neighborhood bar!! I’ve been to the many iterations of this bar, and this is a Great place. Karaoke, games, tables and couches to sit on and hang out with friends, a pool table and outdoor patio.
I unfortunately didn’t catch the karaoke lady’s name but she remembered my name.
Celebrated my 19 anniversary with friends and we had a great time.
Super honest people there too- a purse was left at our table when we moved to a different part of the bar, and they had put our purse behind the bar. We will definitely be back. Drinks were a little expensive, but everything is going up in price. Worth it to have a cute neighborhood bar. It was a nice mix of straight and gay, young and older.

“My brother and I had the most amazing night of superb jazz and food this past Sunday, entertained by Betty Bryant and ensemble. Her fingers moved like liquid gold on the keyboard and her compositions were witty and mesmerizing. The word that kept coming to mind as they performed was "subtle." The music was powerful, but so discrete as to be gentle and gentile. Woodwinds, Bass, and Drums - all played with the kind of delight that makes everyone love the performers as well as the music. As for food, one dish stood out particularly: the creamed spinach with blue cheese. Please tell Chef I would love that recipe! I'm back home in Tennessee now and plan to attempt to copy it, but having the authentic recipe to serve to friends when we entertain would be over the top! Can't wait to visit my brother in LA again and return to Herb Alpert's Vibrato Grill, Jazz, Etc. Just wow! And Thank You!“

“Even though we were tourists, it was a very friendly local bar with a great atmosphere! The bartender was very kind even though he translated it into Papago for us because he couldn't speak English. The atmosphere was very nice and there were a lot of different beers, which was great! From a foreigner's perspective, coming to a local bar can be very scary, but this place was very comfortable, friendly, and fun! And the store had a nice atmosphere and the bathroom was clean, so I really liked it! It was a store near my accommodation, and I want to go there again before I go back to Korea! It was a store where everyone was satisfied :)“

“A group of 4 of us had dinner together at this restaurant, and we ALL enjoyed the food. It’s a tapas / Family style and has a lot of options to choose from. we ordered the cauliflower, meatballs, shishito peppers, tagliatelle pasta, spicy Korean fried chicken wings… it was Enough to feed a small family! Cooked to perfection. Also we had the fluffernutter dessert.. honestly everything was Delicious!!!

And given that I don’t drink, I love that they have a pretty decent mocktails menu! Thank you to our server, very accommodating!
The service was perfect.

I can not judge someone's reviews because if you see some unhappy customers with 1 or 2 stars, where are the other 1000 happy customers? We called and reserved the table, We arrived around 8pm for dinner. The place was packed, all the tables full, live music and a good lighting system put you in a good mood. We said definitely this is the place we want. We really enjoy the place. We had good food and a full liquor bar. Hard to find In LA to be all one place with good food, drink, DJ and dance floor. Definitely we will go there again and highly recommend it.“

“Skaf’s on York truly feels like home every time I visit. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Their food blends traditional Lebanese flavors with a fresh, modern twist, and everything on the menu is consistently delicious.

I never know what to order because their dishes never disappoint. When I’m craving that classic home-style comfort, I go for the fattoush salad with rice and shawarma — and of course, the warm pita bread and creamy hummus are a must. If I’m in the mood to try a little bit of everything, I pick a few of their sides. Their cheese rolls are amazing! And on days when I want something simple yet still full of flavor, the lentil soup is always perfect.

We had such a great time at Haunted Soirée! The atmosphere was amazing—so much talent packed into one event. The live music alone was worth the price of admission; you could feel the energy in the room with everyone vibing to spooky-inspired performances.

The bars were on point—creative drinks, great flavors, and the kind of festive energy you want in a Halloween event. Everywhere you looked, people were dressed up, enthusiastic, and really leaning into the spooky music and vibes.
