“It’s no exaggeration to say this is one of my favorite places to buy seafood of all time. I grew up in Boston eating seafood, lived in Seattle eating seafood, and used to shop at Santa Monica seafood (no shade to them, they’re a solid choice). The only downside is this place is tiny so it’s on-the-shelf selection is limited. But it’s seriously good at very reasonable prices. Plus, if you want to secure something in advance they’ll arrange it for you. Incredibly helpful and knowledgeable folks!“

We had a graduation dinner of 40 people scheduled for a dinner downtown that had to be canceled due to protests/curfew. We called last minute to see if Leona’s could take us. We got lucky since it was early it the week. The owner and his team jumped in to accommodate us and were so helpful! We got so lucky. Even though we were a last minute booking, they treated our large group with such care. The staff worked so hard and our evening was perfect! This place is a gem, not only for the fantastic food, but for the hard-working, kind-hearted folks working there. Thank you!“

I rarely write reviews but I had to share my great experience to support this business. The food is fresh and delicious and the staff is very kind.
We ordered the Rainbow and the Spicy Yellowtail rolls for pick up orders through their online website, had a lovely sunset walk during Golden Hour to and from there, and the service was timely and efficient. When we got back home the food was packaged and presented beautifully and it kept well. We thoroughly enjoyed this whole experience and will be happy to order again soon! We look forward to dining in person there as well. Definitely find out for yourself and enjoy this awesome little gem!

“Delicious food! We ordered delivery so I can't speak for the service or atmosphere, but the food was great. We got the loaded fries with chicken, shrimp burrito and mahi mahi burrito. Really nice serving size, especially on those fries. Those things are a meal in themselves. Order got to us correct and with napkins and utensils ready for us. I would say it's a touch pricey, but honestly, that seems like the norm with inflation these days. Enjoyed the good, would try again :)“

He makes just about everything from his ginger to his soy sauce from scratch even though he’ll tell you, “no soy sauce” for most of the sushi that comes as it should be eaten. Best sushi restaurant on Ventura Blvd by far. Make sure to try his dry aged fish!

The meat is sliced thinly to perfection, and the variety of options is great. We loved being able to customize the broth to our taste, which added to the overall experience. The restaurant has plenty of seating, making it easy to get a table even on busy days.

“I've been following their Ig page for a while, and yesterday was finally the perfect occasion to stop by. We made a reservation through OpenTable, and upon arrival, we were warmly greeted. The host asked if we're celebrating anything special, and we mentioned that all four of us had back-to-back birthdays. Now here's the amazing part: without us even requesting it, the staff brought out two slices of cake with candles and mentioned our names. Such a thoughtful and memorable gesture. Food: Everything we ordered was delicious; the house salad, prime rib, house bread, Brussels sprouts, and the pizza all hit the spot. Drinks: I couldn't get enough of the Pom Paloma, ordered it 3 times, which says it all. We also tried the Fiery Strawberry and the Hugo Rose.
