“Great little hidden gem of a resturaunt. food is always delicious with plenty of options to suit just about anyone's tastes. owners are very nice and do a wonderful job managing and maintaining the quality of food. atmosphere is more of a modern Cafe feel than traditional of the culture and the fox theme is absolutely adorable. Yes, the price is quite hefty - especially for their Banh Mi. But Soo worth it!

We ordered the Special Breakfast Banh Mi which has their famous Nem Nuong, with fried eggs. Also, a Berkshire Pork Banh Mi. Each cost $17.95 before tax.

And a Croissant with eggs - $6.95.

Everything was delicious and fresh. The eggs are freshly fried - does Not taste rubbery and sitting under some light. Meat was tender and plentiful in both Banh Mi. The bread itself was perfectly warm, soft, chewy and crispy - not the type of crispy that scratches all the inside of your mouth.

I had the best experience at Tabu Shabu! I sat out on the patio with my dog and it was absolutely perfect—comfortable, welcoming, and such a great vibe. I ordered a glass of wine and started with the cucumber appetizer and edamame, both super fresh and full of flavor. The highlight was the salmon bowl with rice…so delicious, perfectly cooked, and so satisfying. The service was friendly, the food came out quickly, and they made me (and my pup!) feel totally at home. I think everyone came out at some point to visit with me and my pup. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food, a relaxing atmosphere, and a dog-friendly spot for a drink and apps (cant do hotpot outside, but still worth it).“

“Houston Location: We arrived at our reservation and waited 10 minutes for the hostess. Once seated, we were uninstructed on how to order. Sushi chefs explained the process. Our waiter arrived 10 minutes after, taking our drink order. The app arrived before the waters, followed by the drinks after we ordered and received the sushi. The manager noticed us looking for our waiter but was often in the corner on his phone or socializing with the hostess. I had the beef teriyaki bowl and I was surprised it was so delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection, the teriyaki sauce was not too rich in consistency or watery, and not overwhelmingly sweet, it was perfect. The rice had the perfect texture too. 5/5

I also had a corn dog and it was the first thing I ate. Hehe he, I was pretty hungry. It was indeed better than other corn dogs I've had.

I also witnessed a belligerent woman who was being so rude and disrespectful to the staff and the staff remained calm and very respectful after the woman was making all sorts of rude comments. Props to them for handling the situation with the utmost professionalism and respect despite the way they were being mistreated.

Overall, I had a positive experience with some delicious beef teriyaki and I'll be going for more. If you have not visited them I highly recommend you do.“

“I still don't understand how a white man could open such a healthy and delicious Chinese restaurant! The flavours are so good, his dumplings are made of chicken, and although they are very delicately made, it's hard to tell they are made of chicken. The service is always warm and attentive, reflecting the excellent culture of the staff at this restaurant.“

However, there was a kind young lady who was able to help us in German with a name something along the lines of Jessi, and she was very helpful, especially for my friends who can't really speak English well. “My partner and I decided to order a quick grab & go after our workout. We wanted to find something healthy. It was around 10pm, and we found this ghost kitchen that served many foods from different restaurants.

Parking: This ghost kitchen is located in a lot. It looks a bit sketchy, but fear not. Free parking, but finding a spot can be difficult. It’s super busy, and I noticed there were a lot of food delivery workers going in n out.

Environment: It’s a very small space. No dine in. There are lockers to the right where you’d pick up your food when it’s ready. We didn’t place an order online, so we ordered through the kiosk. I don’t think they take cash. Everything seems contactless.

Service: We didn’t speak to anyone. It was self order, and we waited for our food. We were texted when our order was ready. Throughput was under 10 minutes.

What we ordered: I ordered the chicken rice & cabbage bowl, and my partner ordered the protein lover rice & cabbage bowl and a coconut green smoothie. I really liked my bowl! The multi grain rice paired well with all the toppings, chicken, and sauce. The cabbage was fresh and not soggy. Careful for the sesame seeds, it might get stuck to your teeth lol. I’d prefer a bit more chicken, but other than that, I enjoyed it. I also tried my partner’s bowl. His bowl definitely had a lot of protein! It was all delicious! The toppings were similar to my bowl. I did not try his coconut green smoothie bc I don’t like coconut, but I’m assuming he liked it since it was gone in 5 seconds.

Pricing: The chicken rice & cabbage bowl was $11.95, the protein lover rice & cabbage bowl was $15.65, and the coconut green smoothie was $5.95. I’d say it’s worth its price. The bowls left us fulfilling, and we enjoyed everything.“
