“Family run boba shop. Super friendly, great variety, lower than average prices, and a larger size option than typical boba places. There are closer shops near me but this one has become my go-to anyways. Staff are super nice and accommodate customization requests of all sorts. Only complaint is that they use a bit too much sweetener by default, but of course you can ask for less. But only if you order in person instead of on the touchscreen.“

I know, it’s a simple drink that’s really hard to mess up, but for some reason, the way it’s brewed at TP Tea reigns supreme in my eyes. I also like the touch of Tieguanyin tea. Fun fact: I never knew or heard of Tieguanyin until coming across TP Tea! If you like a blend of aromatic tea notes with a hint of sweetness from wintermelon, I cannot recommend this drink enough. However, if you’re in the mood for a milk tea, I highly recommend the strawberry milk tea! It has a nice blend of milk and fragrant tea, with the acidity and sweetness of REAL strawberries. And if you really wanted to make any drink a winner, you’re going to want to add QQ noodles in your drink! I don’t know what makes it so good, but it’s definitely chewy and fun to have in your drink. “This is the best boba I’ve ever had and definitely the best in OC. We’ve been coming for years, and they are always consistent. The crème brûlée is to die for, and their taro is top notch. Their jasmine tea is also delicious. Whatever you get, will be great, and if not, they will redo it for you. The workers have always been very kind and happy, and I feel very welcome every time I go in. Bonus points for having a bathroom and for a super chic place. The menu and drinks are the same as all their other locations. They have a decent selection of different types of drinks to choose from. Compared to other Krak locations we've been to, the workers are a lot more knowledgeable and friendly.

You can adjust the sweetness and less sweet is just perfect for all drinks. However, it can be very crowded during the weekends. Overall, would recommend everyone to try this spot in OC.“

Haven’t try blueberry flavor in a drink before, we ordered the blueberry matcha latte and the blueberry yakult. They are actually good! The blueberry matcha have more a thick taste than the yakult, and they put blueberry juice so even 50% sweetness is still a decent amount of sweet.

We ordered 4 drinks on weekend night and wait about 20 minutes, not too bad. It is busy and a lot of people are getting boba. Inside have a few tables and chairs but the tables is on a lower level side, wish they have higher tables.

“Before even entering Greatea, the area already has a welcoming neighborhood vibe which doesn’t change once you enter the store. The person taking our order was very kind and, although this might be because we were the only ones there, brought everything to us after finishing making one instead of waiting until everything was done and calling us over to get it ourselves which I though was nice. She worked very efficiently too, so we only waited for around 5 minutes for 4 drinks and some food. The store was very clean, and everything tasted exceptional, not like powder like some boba places do.“
