“Very highend Chinese restaurant, which is a rarity. Very tastefully done interior. You come here for the peking duck experience. Coming here and not ordering peking duck just doesn't make any sense. From presentation to the flavor and texture, it is beyond any other peking duck I've ever had. They even smoke a portion right at the table and it is unforgettable. Their other menu offerings are also great but a little over priced. Very professional staff.“

“The food is amazing. Very authentic pizza and the homemade pastas are unique and flavorful. The only downside on the menu is dessert. There is a hazelnut chocolate torte that tastes waxy, the panna cotta is good but not great and they add a lot of unnecessary toppings like black sesame seeds, and finally the gelato was icy, not creamy. I won't stop coming here because of the dessert but just be forewarned. If it's your birthday just hope they have tiramisu which is often the dessert of the day and quite good. Also, I don't understand the need for club music. It takes away from the ambiance. We always opt to sit outside where we can hear one another and they are more than accommodating.“

“Excellent restaurant where you can find succulent and tasty cuts of meat, very tender and cooked to perfection. The wine list is vast, there are also very valuable bottles. It is essential to book, or you risk not finding a place. The service was very good. The price is over $100 per person with 2 courses each, but it is correct for American standards.“

“We visited on a Tuesday so it was not busy at all. The service was incredible. Our waitress was absolutely delightful and even provided recommendation for where to park. “Came for a celebration dinner, and it was decent. We had a five course dinner.The Amuse Bouche had an interesting collection of five items, including beef tartar, and salmon mousse. Flavor was quite good, but the tortilla chip was stale.First course was bacon wrapped prawns. Really good prawn, but I wasn’t a fan of the bacon wrap, as bacon trumped out the shrimp flavor. The juice was quite good, I assumed it was cooked with shrimp oil. The sauce also had crunch pieces and a slightly overwhelming (I assume) garlic flavor and I wasn’t too big of a fan.Second course was lamb/goat raviolo. It was decent, nothing too much to mention there.Main course I got the filet mignon. Steak was cooked very well, and nicely seasoned. However I’m not too big of a fan of the carrot paste, felt a bit like baby food. Side veggies mushroom and zucchini were a little bit on the oily side.Desert was olive oiled cake. It was alright, I wish the filling in the middle would be different than on the top.Overall, it was a good experience, decent flavor, especially considering the price point. The waitstaff were very attentive. The downstairs wine cellar was slightly underwhelming, as it just felt like a basement with wine stored on the shelf. And the intermission was new to me. We had a break for a good while before the main course, and I’d only assume it’s because the kitchen couldn’t keep up with preparing the main all at the same time.“

“Delicious food! The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare! Not many places get the right temperature for food. The 16oz Rib Eye comes with one side of potatoes, we added one mo re side and it was enough for two people! Previously we had had the wedge salad as an appetizer which I did not take a picture off but it was delicious too. We went on a Saturday night and they had live music, very nice location. Service was very flat and we had to wait a long time to have our order taken but it’s definitely a place I would go back for the great food. Parking it’s $8 an hour but they validate your ticket at the end which I was not expecting but was very nice.“

“I've been to Knife Pleat half a dozen times for dinner and generally, it's been quite good to excellent depending on the day. Some dishes fail to impress but generally speaking most dishes are exciting, novel, and suffice to say extremely tasty. The desserts in particular have been incredibly creative and interesting. I also find it refreshing to get so many vegetables in a meal of this caliber!Wine pairings have been excellent as well, and the head bartender is very, very skilled.The service is good. All the servers have been incredibly friendly, but the service has felt very rigid and unrefined at various points. What I mean by this is that they are trying very, very hard to do things the "correct" way that it feels very unnatural at times and a bit starling, like when they circle around the table and all stand behind each guest, pause for 2 seconds, then place the dishes down at the same time. I do greatly respect their ambitions, (I think they're going for 2 stars), but this sort of thing I just find silly and unnecessary, even if it was a 2 star.My biggest complaint is just how outrageously priced it is. $295 for 6 courses is deep into 2-star pricing territory. You add in a wine pairing and the mandatory 23% service fee and you're looking at almost $600 per person.I would truly love nothing more than for them to grow into this price point, but as it stands, the meal is quite overpriced.“

“Having eaten at Mortons & Ruth's Chris earlier the same week we were looking forward to Flemings. We ate early (6pm), when we arrived they put our small party of 2 next to a large loud group in a relativity empty restaurant. We immediately asked to be moved so we would be able to have a conversation over dinner. The steaks were not as great as we were expecting, they were a little over cooked and less flavorful than we had experienced at the other restaurants. Service overall was great except towards the end they were very pushy and tried to get us to rush through the meal which made us feel uncomfortable. Overall it was good but we were a little disappointed.“

“We had an amazing dinner tonight and received the best service. There was a small mistake that was made and they went above and beyond to make it right. Gustavo was so kind and made a wonderful impression on us. We will be back for sure and continue to recommend them.“
