“The food is amazing here. Always excellent. Always made the same consistent way each time we have been here. The staff is SUPER friendly and they have a beautiful dog-friendly patio. It does get really busy at lunch on Saturdays so be prepared if you come that day. Weekdays tend to be a lot slower. It quickly has become my favorite place to eat and is my go-to place now. The food is just as good delivered as well. Cannot go wrong here. Especially with the Chicken Club. Delicious. Fries are really good too.“

“I sometimes stop by this bar after work — either to grab a drink or have dinner after picking up groceries. Great atmosphere, wide selection of drinks, and it’s very convenient being right inside the same building. Always a nice spot to relax for a bit.“

Tuesday night, the place was moderately packed and she single handedly served the entire place both behind the bar, in the dining room with the best food service and was the quickest most efficient lone server on the planet. She absolutely blew me away!!!! Thank you Jacqueline, we had a blast and great games with plenty of TV screens everywhere too!“

“I have been here a few times now, in the last week. The service and food have been great, in my experience. I have ordered the fettuccine pasta for dinner, each time. I saw some reviews about the service being bad, but didn’t experience anything like that. The place and atmosphere is very cute for a date night, they have candles lit on each table which is nice. I think this place is actually way better than Seabirds, food wise. They also have nice music on too, love songs.“

“Pre dinner drinks at the bar were excellent. My wife enjoyed the warm up drinks. Front hosts were very friendly and ensured that our table was ready. Dinner was very good. My wife ordered the pork plate and i ordered the crunchy tuna salad. Our waitress was also attentive.“

“I have been here a total of two times and it was enough to get me hooked. The first time I tried the patty melt with the bacon ranch fries and a snickerdoodle melt and aside from the nacho cheese on the fries (I prefer cheddar is all), all I can say is YUM 😋 Then the second time I had the spicy crispy chicken sandwich with garlic parm fries and a vanilla melt and oh. my. lanta is that sandwich aptly named. I have NEVER had something so perfectly crispy before 🤯 the fries were good, but a tad oily due to the seasoning for my liking and the vanilla melt was tasty. It's a but pricy, but I joined the rewards program and they seem to offer a lot of goodies.

The staff has also been pleasant each time I've gone which only helps enhance the experience.

“We had a great dining experience at Urban Plates in Long Beach. Mariana explained the menu choices in a very unrushed manner, and we decided on the steak. I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in Long Beach.“

“Highly recommend! We can't say enough good things about this restaurant. From welcoming us, helping us decide what to eat/drink, and the pace of the dinner, Gabrielle made the experience. He is now our favorite waiter of all time. The noise level was perfect; quiet enough to hear each other talk, but not to quiet that everyone can hear conversations from near by tables. The food didn't disappoint. Everything were ordered brought new and exciting flavors. The charcuterie board and artichoke were particularly the best we've had. “Great menu with lots of diversity...there is something for everyone. We usually go with 3 to 4 people in our party and often share because that allows us to try more of the menu and we have always enjoyed each and every item we have selected from the menu. Beer selection is great...almost as large as the food menu. I have always had good service at all of the Finney's I have been to for lunch or dinner... Orange, Brea and Camarillo. Great restaurant!! I would highly recommend you try it...you will not be disappointed.“

“Wow. Had some truly special food here. The Koobideh was juicy, and almost perfect. It was served with a little spicy aioli that brought the whole dish to another level. The babaghanoush had some lovely balsamic that elevated it elegantly and the Tzatziki had pickles instead of cucumbers and it was the best I’ve tasted. My wife had pita fries and they were genius and delicious. Do not leave without trying the saffron pistachio and/or pomegranate/chocolate ice cream. Service and ambiance were matched to the food, just right.“

“We had a late dinner at the Yard House after a Christmas lights cruise in the bay on a Monday in December. The Yard House serves dinner later. We had a an appetizer of queso with meat. It was outstanding. I had Maui Chicken and my wife had a Chicken dish ,also. Both were large portions and fantastic. When we are in the area we will definitely go back!“

“We stopped in from Ohio and ate, and it was the best chicken parm we have ever had. We got the chicken parmesian poutine and the Philly cheese steak sandwich and split it, and there was more than enough for two people. I would definately return here.“

We also tried the spinach dip and the firecracker shrip and it was okay. I would try something else in the future. For my main course I got the pork chop. It was perfectly cooked. The veggies that were served with it were delicious. I would definitely recommend this dish!“

“Stopped in at Social in Costa Mesa while spending a weekend down in Orange County, and I’m so glad we did. I’d heard great things from friends, and this place definitely didn’t disappoint. The food was absolutely amazing, the atmosphere was spot-on, and the service was just as good.

It wasn’t too busy when we arrived—probably because it’s Christmas season and everyone’s out shopping—so we got in right before the lunch crowd. I heard it was packed the night before, and I can see why. Everything we tried was top-notch.“

“We had high hopes coming to Olea, but alas we were disappointed. Location/Ambiance: Westcliff Plaza and small with a large bar at the front, the layout leaves little space for tables. We sat in a snug booth alongside the windows with a view of Susie Cakes next door. The decor is warm and modern. Food: Subpar! Burnt bread but delicious whipped butter. Butter lettuce and Goat cheese salad was bland with a basic dressing. Mac and cheese skillet was good but nothing amazing. Filet was dry with overdone gluey mashed potatoes, and underdone broccolini. Halibut was pan seared to a dry mess with an inedible coating, bland steamed seasonal vegetables of cauliflower, carrots, and broccoli as a side. Service: Friendly and Fake, if you enjoy watching servers walk away from your table talking about how "picky and difficult you are" this is a perfect spot. My Mother has dietary restrictions and we are specific to ensure a safe dining experience, it's sad when that's met with disdain. Overall: We won't be back!“

“The Duck Confit Spliff is a great representation of the Vietnamese & French cultures “wrapped” up all in one dish. And for a more traditional & fun way to eat it, you definitely have to use your hands. My only wish was for a little more duck in the spliff.

With the Ebelskivers, the concept was again brilliant. The garlic emulsion creates an intense garlic flavor but in a light and airy way. But like takoyaki, I wish there was more escargot in the batter to remind me more of that chewy feel from the traditional dish.

The surprise star of our meal was the Royale with Cheese. The wagyu had great flavor and char. And the sesame seed bun held up well for this napkin-required burger. But those pickles were amazing nuggets of necessity to add balancing acidity to the richness of the dish.

We definitely want to try the Duck Breast, the Spanish Octopus, and the Prix Fixe Meal on future visits. A final thanks to Chef & Curtis for the friendly service and explanation of the menu.“

“Fantastic service with very a friendly and attentive staff.
Went for my son's birthday as he was craving shawarma. He got the lamb and his girlfriend got the beef shawarma. Both of them said it was very tasty.

I had the chicken curry stew and have leftovers. It came with a Greek green salad and basmati rice. So delicious and such deep flavors.

We'd come back again for sure and since my son and his girlfriend live in the area, they are adding it to their spots too.
