“This joint is serving up real ingredients prepared like that Peruvian uncle I never had. I was impressed by the actual hand cut yucca vs some other joints precut yucca. That green sauce is obviously made in house and done right. The ceviche isn’t the prettiest I’ve eaten, but ranks high in the yum factor. Definitely a restaurant worth another visit.“

“The food is amazing, portions are large, and prices are very fair. The $16.95 short rib pho comes with two huge short rib bones and unlimited noodles! Such a good deal. My favorite was honestly the lomo saltado, the fries were so crisp and the filet was so tender with a delicious, smoky wok fire flavor. The spring crunch slaw is a steal at $6.95, it’s a ton of slaw for such a cheap price and the peanut butter/chili oil dressing is bomb. It was pretty busy when I went, but they brought out the food amazingly fast for how big of a group was seated ahead of me. Definitely recommend this spot.“

I had the Peruvian Ceviche, Parmesan scallops, tiger scallops and the Bluefin Tuna antiucho was so good I order 2 more orders of it. YUM. As a Peruvian a myself I totally recommend Akashiro. “Been wanting to go to this location and we went for a birthday celebration. Definitely make reservations and the entire party needs to be present. It was a bit small but we got a perfect table on the outside patio. The food was amazing and I got to taste a few dishes. I really wish I can go here every week because I love everything. I love the fact that their lychee lemonade had free refills. And the mocktails were so delicious, wow!!!! Everything was so yummy here , i can't really decide on one thing that I loved.“

“This is our go-to for pho in Orange County. Number one, they make take out so easy! Each order is packed perfectly with directions on reheating. Only once has my order been messed up and the manager gladly took care of me. The waitlist for in-person dining can be frustrating but trust me when I say it’s worth the weight…I mean wait. People often decide to not wait the entire time so they’ll drop off the list and your name will rise up faster. Our go to is the pho, take your pick as far as which protein option you prefer. The meat here is great in quality and flavor. We’re also a big fan of the fried rice and the wings!“

“The wait time was a little too long then planned after we sat down. I ordered the chica Mordada and my friend ordered the papaya fresca. The papaya fresca came in a small pitcher which was a large amount of fresh juice for the price I thought after comparing it to thecost of an orange juice that comes in a glass at IHOP. I ordered the polo con arroz, it was nice I had two pieces of chicken roasted on top of rice that was seasoned well and had a nice cilantro spiciness taste. My friend had the steak and potato fries with a fried egg on top of his arroz. We both enjoyed our meals which was really good. We sat there for a while and they did not say anything to chit chat to catch up with each other. We didn't ask for the check gave a nice tip and left. Definitely a great Peruvian restaurant.

update revisit: Server was awesome tonite. very attentive, Arroz Chaufa de Pollo was delicious with great green onion flavor with lots of it in the dish. fresh and hot.“
