“Whenever I get a craving for Thai this is my go to spot. The food is authentic delicious and Just plain beautiful. The prices are reasonable the portions are large. The atmosphere can be busy, but comforting and relaxing, like a coffeehouse. The hustle and bustle of people coming in doesn’t distract from the atmosphere. In fact, it adds to it. I have always judged a Thai restaurant by their Tom kha kai. The first time I had it here I knew I was in for some good Thai. I’ve been making Tom kha gai at home for years now I know how it’s done and the subtleties of the ingredients. I highly recommend this restaurant.“

We were intrigued because it occupies the same space as Supatra's, a spot we used to frequent years ago before the change in ownership. We called ahead to make a reservation and were seated promptly within a minute of our arrival. My wife follows a gluten-free vegan diet, and Thai food has always been a reliable choice for her. She called in advance to ensure options were available, and the staff was accommodating. Our server, Paul, was outstanding. He went above and beyond to ensure the kitchen was informed about my wife's dietary needs, making the experience seamless and stress-free. Here's what we ordered: Tom Kha Soup: Excellent, bursting with rich and vibrant flavors. Summer Rolls: My wife loved them--fresh and perfectly prepared. Mango Mood drink: Another hit, beautifully balanced and refreshing. Wine: A familiar choice for my wife that paired well with the meal. String Beans and Eggplant: Very delicious, with bold and flavorful seasoning. Crying Tiger: Unfortunately, this dish didn't meet my expectations and is one we wouldn't recommend. Overall, the food was excellent, aside from the Crying Tiger, and the service was exceptional. Special thanks to Paul for his attentiveness and genuine kindness. “A little gem in Good Food Hall, a small indoor/outdoor food court at the end of Anaheim Center Street Promenade.
The (Tofu) Pad Thai had the right amount of flavor. The (chicken) Green Curry had a hint of spiciness, right amount of curry-sweetness and fresh looking red & green bell peppers.

Drunken noodles was spicier than we expected for medium level but still very good.

“We came here for a dinner. On a Saturday night as we love Thai food. This place was so quiet and peaceful. Basically being vegetarians we were looking for some options. We found plenty. Drunken noodles and pineapple curry were so tasty and had just enough flavours, mild and delicious. We tried their home made coconut icecream, was one of the best I had. Prices were extremely affordable and the lady who served was kind to us. Would highly recommend this place. Would wish more people could visit this place and keep their business flourishing.“

- Really nice level of heat (I ordered it very spicy), and there were no Thai chili pepper pods I had to fish out, so that's good, and they provided extra ground Thai chilis on the side. 👍👍
- fresh mushrooms, not canned, good amount 👍👍
- heat, sourness, amazingly delicious tasting broth, hint of sweetness to contrast the bold hot and sour flavors. All the wonderful tastes melded together, lime, cilantro, galangal, lemon grass, so completely developed and full flavored 👍👍 👍
- giant shrimp, tails on, so tender and delicious and lots of them. 👍👍👍
Bottom line, I've been hunting for the best Tom Yum in SoCal, and I have found it at Royal Thai Orchid. I was settling before, now, never more. Makes me REALLY want to taste their other menu items. Just ordered Tom Yum for the 4th time in the past week (yes, I am obsessed and yes, it's that good), but this time I ordered some stuffed chicken wings as well. Will be amazing I'm sure. 😁“

Dining here felt like stumbling into Eden—a peaceful, welcoming place where every bite tastes like it was made with love in someone’s home kitchen. From the moment we walked in, the space was spotless, the atmosphere cozy, and the aroma of spices and fresh herbs was intoxicating.

“My favorite place for Thai food. The taste is always on point. Smaller menu than other Thai restaurants but everything is good and fresh. Service is quick and friendly. The ambiance is cozy and tastefully decorated. Small cafe type restaurant, no frills, just good food. They were under rennovation for a while but recently opened up for dining again. The space inside makes you feel like you're transported back to Thailand (there was a cab in the front of the menu screen) and limited seating, a couple of tables outside. Overall rating, 4.6 stars for me, I know google doesn't give me the options for the point six. The pad thai was really good, not too mushy, chicken not over done and love that they added the Vietnamese chives ( hẹ) and bean sprouts along with peanuts, gives an extra crunch in every bite. “Everytime we come to Yorbalinda we have to stop by the Bangkok house Thai, serves one of the best Thai food I’ve ever had even my 3 year old loves it!! We usually order the same, wonton soup, shrimp chow mein and yellow curry this time we order orange chicken and OMYYYY LORD best decision of my life!!! It was crunchy, chicken was soft not too much sauce but definitely not dry. Just perfect.

“The food was good, but the service needs work. We got our food at 8:56, and right after a short break, two server came over asking if we wanted boxes, which felt rushed and uncomfortable. On top of that, server kept giving us judgmental looks.“

There was a bit of confusion with how the spice levels worked and also what we were ordering for an appetizer and wanted to come out first versus what we were ordering for the main course.
