“I stopped at Falafel & Gyro for some late lunch as I was driving up towards Redding. The place is conveniently located off the highway and serves great food. I have had many Afghan dishes in the Bay area and this restaurant is on par with those. I had the lamb gyro platter. The meat was ok, however, the rice and the salad were fantastic. The salad was really fresh which you don't often get. The dishes are also reasonably priced, coming in at most around $15 for the fanciest dish. The only bummer was that the TV was loud and distracting.“

“Love the chopped salad 🥗 it was especially good tonight. Had Freakshow wine 🍷 (LODI Ca). Everything was good. However, my steak was tough & smaller than usual. We always sit in bar. Love the bar and although prices are up & portions smaller (ie, steak) still enjoyed our time together.“

“I was visiting from Texas and just happened to see this place from across the street. So glad we went in. Great service from amazing people. Food was excellent. Clean, clean, clean. We ordered the tacos, quesabirrias, and menudo. Tacos and Quesabirrias were great. Fresh ingredients ! I was skeptical about the menudo because everyone makes it different in Texas and it can have flavors you’re not ready for. Their menudo was great! Reminded me of my dad’s. Wish we had some of these in Texas.“

“I came with a friend who I hadn't seen in a while and we both really enjoyed every part of our meal. I'm spacing on the name of my dish, but it was one of the traditional Cuban plates and it was absolutely fantastic. They also had exceptional coffee. We were thankful for the great staff who provided wonder service and let us hang out and catch up.“

“Stopped here by chance on our way to a San Francisco about 6 years ago. I was happy with the environment, food and staff. I knew what to expect by the look from outside. Not a fancy chain restaurant, just hard working people doing the best they can competing with the big boys. I wanted an experience that was from the past where you bumped elbows and have to make eye contact with those around you. I stop here with my family every chance we get even though we live over a hour away.

“It's not much to look at. There's a glass storefront and usually a line out the door . Don't go there. You'll end up buying a 30 pack of seniorita bread. And you'll eat more than you should.
And then you'll say to yourself, I really enjoyed those 3 or 4 seniorita breads .
I'll just have another. Next thing you'll do is drop by the next day to get some more.
The seniorita bread is too good for words.

What an ABSOLUTE Suprise, every bite was divine. The best sushi in vacaville hands down.
Ordered garlic edamame, Gyoza to start. Followed by the Deep Fried California Roll, The Dynamite, volcano, lion king, 49er, & the scallion Roll. All the rolls but one (49er with lemon slices) was fried or baked. All cooked to perfection, no soy sauce needed. Each was like an explosion of amazing taste in your mouth.
Staff was no where near rude like other reviewers. It was quiet, well cleaned and they cook with passion. We were checked on adequately & drinks never went empty.
Very affordable and perfect for family night or date night even.

“My friend and I came here after a hard leg 🦵 day at Vacaville Strength Experience gym. The place wasn't busy until after we walked in. After getting home, my friend realized that the "breakfast menu" specifically said REFRIED BEANS & RICE come with it. My friend did notice the bag was light but was alarmed until it was too late. Also, notice that a lot of the sauce tipped over inside the plastic bag because the Styrofoam was not as surcure as it should have been. The food was VERY TASTY, but disappointing due to the amount we paid was not sufficient due to not getting what we ordered and the fact they weren't busy and knowing their menu and what comes with it. 2 stars out of 5 💜💜🖤🖤🖤“

“This restaurant has never disappointed us. But today they really outdid themselves with the ZHAJIANGMIAN soybean noodles. What a fantastic dish ….with different textures and flavors. It was very, very good. There were noodles , carrots, peanuts , and much more, or just the right crunch and flavor….. very very good! We also had a side of sautéed garlic, green beans, which had a great flavor and crunch as well.“

The owner, Sunny, was very kind and said that their franchise donates to all of the elementary schools in the area to encourage perfect attendance.
