Food was good - we ordered a bunch of different things: Pizza, wings, fries, garlic parmesan twists, etc.. RT pizza is always good, so that was a given! But we also enjoyed the different wing flavors, the garlic parmesan twist, fries, etc. Beer on tap, one of those cool soda machines where you select your soda and add flavor... We had LOTS of food - plenty for everyone - for what I consider a very reasonable price! Facilities are very pleasant! A sports bar kind of vibe with lots of screens, clean, cool. Plenty of room. I recommend this restaurant for groups, for a bite, or to catch a game.”

Unlike other places, they know how to season food and cook with flavor. Large portions… Combo #2 1lb of snow crab legs and 1lb of head on shrimp w/corn on cob/potatoes and sausage $46. We got 2 whole crab clusters and roughly 15-18 large head on shrimp. So much food we brought home leftovers. You ant go wrong at this place.”

There was only one person taking orders and delivering food. They are family owned and ran. I hope they can hire more people to make it run more efficiently.I do like how they have tofu bahn mi as an option! Most bahn mi places don't offer that.The seats seem scattered. “Delicious huge burritos at a great price. Came here after seeing the good reviews, and other reviewers weren't lying, these are great burritos. The veggie burrito is large and tastes great. The cheese was melted perfectly in it, the Spanish rice was properly cooked and seasoned, and the salsa in it was perfect. I usually don't get chicken burritos, but I tried it as someone else in my party ordered it; the chicken is more like tinga de pollo (shredded seasoned chicken) which I've never had before, but it was amazing. 10/10 I'd come back here when I'm in the area. The service was also quick and very nice. We asked for extra salsa, and more napkins and a to-go bag, and they obliged.”

“This food truck is located in a parking space of an old closes furniture store across Walmart Vallejo. They have tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas, sopes, ceviches. Meats include: Asada/Steak, Pastor/ Spicy Pork, Carnitas/ Fried Pork, Pollo/Chicken Cabeza/Head, Buche/Stomach, Tripa/Tripe, Lengua/ Tongue.
They also have drinks available. I tried their regular carnitas burrito and regular tripa burrito on a late afternoon weekend. It's not the best comparable to others I have tried but affordable. Too much beans in my opinion. Will come back again to try others. This business accepts Cash only. Tables and chairs available.”

We also had the spicy beef pho and the broth itself was full of really good flavor with the right amount of heat 👌 we also had the shrimp rolls with the almond sauce and that was sweat and definitely new taste for me but it wasn’t not good. The shrimp was very tasty and when you top the shrimp roll with hot sauce it’s even better! We also had the chicken fried rice for the kids and they seemed very satisfied too! “I think I just found my favorite restaurant in Vallejo — Elephant Thai Cuisine at 3636 Sonoma Blvd. They just opened 2 months ago after moving their restaurant here from the Los Angeles area.
The food was incredibly flavorful, the service was amazing, and the interior was really nicely decorated.
I got Kao Soi (pictured) which is a Northern Thai curry noodle soup that I haven’t found anywhere else in Vallejo — and this was the best version of it I’ve ever had. We also got the Beef Nam Tok Salad (pictured) which was super herbal and spicy. The Panang Curry (not pictured) was possibly the best we’ve had; it tasted very rich and homemade and not like it was made from a premade curry paste like a lot of places do.”

I walked in mistaking it for Vallejo Brewing Company right after they closed for the night, but the menu was so enticing I had to come back during business hours!

The red beans and rice with Cajun shrimp is an INSTANT comfort food go-to, and not to start drama, but a certain barbecue place on the block could learn a thing or two about making amazing cornbread from this chef! The perfect, fresh baked, sweet and buttery portion of cornbread I've had since my mom's recipe.

The $7 cocktail special was also amazing, not too powerful but not so watered down you couldn't feel it!

The gal working the counter was sweet as can be both times I've been in as well.

I can't wait to bring everyone I know here!”

The sisig was one of the best I’ve had: crispy, savory, and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat. The pork lechon was also a standout—super crispy skin, juicy tender meat, and packed with flavor.

Portions were generous, and the staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. You can tell this place takes pride in serving up real Filipino comfort food done right.

If I can find a place to park my truck and trailer legally, I’ll stop in for breakfast.”

“I've been going to Combo Express for years now, and the food I get is always amazing! The BBQ chicken, chicken w/ spicy salt, and chicken chow mein are all delicious! The potstickers are pretty good as well, but I can't really speak for anything else on the menu. The service is nice, but the inside of the restaurant is a bit lackluster. I don't believe you can dine in anymore, but the food still tastes good with take-out. Overall, they have really good food, and the BBQ chicken is amazing!”

Tony is professional with his beautiful website, clear communication, and makes you feel like family in his warm hospitality. This was the first cake I ever had made by Tony, and it exceeded my expectations. The cake tastes as good as it looks. Upon tasting my first bite I was immediately transported back in time to my childhood remembering the rich unique textures and flavors of a cake from long ago. The entire process of ordering the cake, submitting payment, and picking up the finished product went so smoothly. I simply sent Tony a picture of what I wanted, which was a random image my brother had text to me of a Loki Gator. Tony made fantasy a reality. Tony's Cakes has become our household standard. I will be returning for more "GLORIOUS" cakes as Loki would say! ***Anybody leaving negative reviews about Tony's Cakes probably didn't want to pay, failed to follow the clear instructions on the website contract, or is looking for someone to blame for their errors. Tony did everything his website and contract said he would do. When I arrived at the store all the staff made sure all of my needs were met while I was there, and Tony helped me figure out my Zelle payment, even more he helped us get the cake in the car all by himself. He really didn't have to do any of those things but he did. My only regret is that I should have thanked him more than I did in person, because I was distracted with getting the cake home safe. Dreams do come true at Tony's Cakes! If he did it for my family he can do it for yours too!”

We stopped by Yo Sushi and ordered the Crazy Monkey and Vallejo rolls — and wow, these rolls were massive! Definitely a great value for the size. The flavors were solid and satisfying, especially the Crazy Monkey, which had a good mix of savory and creamy textures.

We did come in close to their closing time, so the rice wasn’t as fresh as we would’ve liked — a little dry — but the overall taste still held up. A bonus: they were really generous with the wasabi and ginger, which we always appreciate.

If you’re craving sushi in the area and don’t mind slightly late-day rice, this place delivers on flavor and portion size. We’ll definitely be back to try them during peak hours next time! 🍣”

Something about his poor little starving wife not getting shredded cheese quickly enough during covid. That guy was a complete tool (probably still is), so I want to do my part to increase ratings. “Dj’s Filipino restaurant has been in Vallejo for many years located at Seafood city, it used to be inside and it took over the old Max’s of Manila. I like to order lumpia Shanghai from there. You can call and it will be ready in 10-15
Mins or they’ll make it fresh on the spot. They’ve changed ownership over the years but originally it was kampangpangan style Filipino food and it may have changed over the years. They’re pretty solid with their rice plates, pork Sisig, beef steak, menudo and all of their Filipino dishes. It’s definitely bang for your buck and probably more fresh earlier in the day. Service is great and parking is easy. Just make sure to not leave anything valuable in your car and watch out for yours bags while you’re out here if you’re from out of town.”
