“Absolutely AMAZING hole in the wall ran by a sweet family. Stumbled upon this gem on our drive home and it did not disappoint. Everything was incredibly flavorful! We had the Phơ Tái, Kang Panang (red curry), Fried rice and Crispy Egg rolls. It was so good we forgot to feed the phone before digging in. Would definitely make the drive back.”

“We had a great meal from a food truck, Rumi Kabob. What an oasis in a gas station in Vallejo! We had the lamb plate, lamb gyro, and a combo of lamb and beef. All were good, especially the gyro, the servings were big, and the bonus hummus was great too. We have plenty of leftovers to eat tomorrow. We didn’t eat there, we brought our food home, so the atmosphere was somewhat irrelevant. It’s a food truck. We were so happy to find it!”

I got a matcha latte and it was overly sweet for my taste and the pastries were definitely not made same-day, but it's one of the only coffee shops in the area — would still suggest a visit for the vibes, and maybe try their specialty coffee drinks!! Located super close to Touro University, good for studying or getting work done.”

To start I have the hot tea ,then garlic chicken, I prefer it crispy crunchy, or fried hard, chicken and shrimp noodle, and my fav green spicy green bean.”

Tony is professional with his beautiful website, clear communication, and makes you feel like family in his warm hospitality. This was the first cake I ever had made by Tony, and it exceeded my expectations. The cake tastes as good as it looks. Upon tasting my first bite I was immediately transported back in time to my childhood remembering the rich unique textures and flavors of a cake from long ago. The entire process of ordering the cake, submitting payment, and picking up the finished product went so smoothly. I simply sent Tony a picture of what I wanted, which was a random image my brother had text to me of a Loki Gator. Tony made fantasy a reality. Tony's Cakes has become our household standard. I will be returning for more "GLORIOUS" cakes as Loki would say! ***Anybody leaving negative reviews about Tony's Cakes probably didn't want to pay, failed to follow the clear instructions on the website contract, or is looking for someone to blame for their errors. Tony did everything his website and contract said he would do. When I arrived at the store all the staff made sure all of my needs were met while I was there, and Tony helped me figure out my Zelle payment, even more he helped us get the cake in the car all by himself. He really didn't have to do any of those things but he did. My only regret is that I should have thanked him more than I did in person, because I was distracted with getting the cake home safe. Dreams do come true at Tony's Cakes! If he did it for my family he can do it for yours too!”

“Best case of mistaken identity ever!

I walked in mistaking it for Vallejo Brewing Company right after they closed for the night, but the menu was so enticing I had to come back during business hours!

The red beans and rice with Cajun shrimp is an INSTANT comfort food go-to, and not to start drama, but a certain barbecue place on the block could learn a thing or two about making amazing cornbread from this chef! The perfect, fresh baked, sweet and buttery portion of cornbread I've had since my mom's recipe.

The $7 cocktail special was also amazing, not too powerful but not so watered down you couldn't feel it!

The gal working the counter was sweet as can be both times I've been in as well.

“I spontaneously pulled into this place after driving by their sign and I’m so glad I did. Really great burrito. They make it to order and I waited for what felt like less than 2 minutes. It’s huge and filled with a delicious mix of ingredients. I briefly interacted with a few of the employees and got kind, welcome vibes from them. Would recommend!”

The broth had so much depth I actually felt like the Sriracha took away from it. The noodles are fresh and so tender. My husband orders the bun plates and those don’t disappoint either. “My dad was craving shrimp fried rice so I was searching in a place in Vallejo for take out and thought I’d try 88 baobao’s. I called in and it was easy to place an order. I ordered shrimp fried rice, sauteed green beans, popcorn chicken, and a side of cucumbers. My order was ready in 10-15 mins for pick up. Service was quick. This was my first time ordering from this location, I didn’t even order any baos sio mai or dumplings but I tried them at other locations. They have indoor seating and the food has huge portions to serve lots of people and last for multiple meals. Located in the Gateway Plaza across from Vallejo Costco, so there’s plenty of parking. Located next to Ulta and quickly.”

“Wow was wondering if Scotty’s Restaurant was still there. Haven’t been there in over 40 years. My step dad Greg Davis had relatives that worked at Scotty’s back then. I’d stop there with my uncle Jimmy Nolan sometimes as well in his semi truck. I was just a kid. I’ll be up in Vallejo next week delivering a load to Mare Island. If I can find a place to park my truck and trailer legally, I’ll stop in for breakfast.”

“WOW. Amazing food and the people are really nice. We got the loaded chicken burrito (chicken, slaw, fries wrapped in a grilled tortilla) and mozzarella sticks. If you like a good cheese pull, the moz sticks will bring you joy. Amazing by themselves, but the sauces added an extra level of flavor. Favorites were spicy garlic honey, chipotle aioli, and spicy lemon pepper, but the buffalo and green habanero were delicious too. Also asked for a side of house pickles and those did not disappoint.”

“This food truck is located in a parking space of an old closes furniture store across Walmart Vallejo. They have tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas, sopes, ceviches. Meats include: Asada/Steak, Pastor/ Spicy Pork, Carnitas/ Fried Pork, Pollo/Chicken Cabeza/Head, Buche/Stomach, Tripa/Tripe, Lengua/ Tongue.
They also have drinks available. I tried their regular carnitas burrito and regular tripa burrito on a late afternoon weekend. It's not the best comparable to others I have tried but affordable. Too much beans in my opinion. Will come back again to try others. This business accepts Cash only. Tables and chairs available.”

“Came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, no wait. Great value for the price, lots of meat and appetizer options. Service was attentive in refilling our banchans and taking our next meat orders. I like their banchans, brisket, galbi and mini sesame balls.

The tables on the sides have the exhaust. We sat in the middle section and those didn’t have the exhaust. Also the stalls in the women’s bathroom are tight; barely any room to close the door. And the floor in the bathroom was super sticky.”

“I recently tried empanadas for the first time from this bakeshop, and I also purchased their Mango Nirvana cake. The cake was absolutely perfect, and the empanadas were delicious. The bakeshop has a spacious sitting area, and the staff provided quick and efficient service.”

“This taco truck is located at Broadway St Vallejo next to a small bar, smog shop, and tire center. The best and only spot to eat while waiting for your vehicle at the next door businesses. Limited street parking, people come and go, tables and chair with shades available. They have generous portion and reasonably priced mexican taco burrito nacho quesadilla torta, drinks like soda and bottled water are also available. I had the taco chicharones and the super nachos. The taco is good, the super nachos has beans cheese tomato sour cream and my choice of meat carne asada steak.
Overall I recommend this place if you like to try casual food truck.”

“Food is delicious. Their bahn mi sandwiches have quality flavor and are packed generously with meat and veggies. When I ordered it, they did communicate to me it would take long about 25 mins. However I did end up waiting about 35-40 mins. Order ahead of time if you're in a rush. I noticed other people were waiting a while for their food as well. There was only one person taking orders and delivering food. They are family owned and ran. I hope they can hire more people to make it run more efficiently.I do like how they have tofu bahn mi as an option! Most bahn mi places don't offer that.The seats seem scattered. However there is various options for seating which is good for large groups. I would come back, but probably order ahead of time!”

“I’ve been a customer at angry chickz since it’s opening. The food and service is always amazing! All the employees are always very kind and compassionate especially considering some of the mistreatment they face from other customers. I’ve never had a bad experience at angry chickz. The food is always great! I personally love the hangry fix! I also love the heat levels, my personal favorite is X-hot I think it’s amazing how the employees take time explaining just how hot the food is! It helps ensure everyone eats happy as long as you listen to the warning they give. Overall angry chickz is an amazing restaurant with top tier food and employees!”
