She made sure to bring out his food and drink as quick as possible to keep him happy which we massively appreciate 🙌 She said there was going to be a little wait, except the food came out faster than anywhere else we’ve eaten in town haha. We got the chicken wings, grilled pork bahn mi, pho, coconut prawns, a strawberry smoothie and a coconut smoothie. Everything was delicious, especially the wings. We unfortunately live in Calistoga so we can’t be regulars here but if we could, we would! Support your local restaurants working hard over greedy corporations any day!”

“We had a great meal from a food truck, Rumi Kabob. What an oasis in a gas station in Vallejo! We had the lamb plate, lamb gyro, and a combo of lamb and beef. All were good, especially the gyro, the servings were big, and the bonus hummus was great too. We have plenty of leftovers to eat tomorrow. We didn’t eat there, we brought our food home, so the atmosphere was somewhat irrelevant. It’s a food truck. We were so happy to find it!”

Its a great place to meet for coffee in the most beautiful Colonial house! The atmosphere is amazing and would be a great place to work or complete school assignments.
I ordered a Caramel Machiato (hot) with oatmilk and it was one of the best cups of coffee I've had! The brie and ham croissant was delicious, but would be better if warmed or at least given the option. 4/5. It would be 5/5 if there was an option to warm baked goods.”

“Las Palmitas is a solid, family-owned Mexican restaurant in Vallejo with deep roots in the community.
I was there for the Solano Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Banda Lonchera—something we do monthly—and it was a great spot for a midweek lunch. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, especially for a Wednesday around noon. Good energy, not rushed, and easy to have conversations with the group.
I’ve been here before for drinks, and they have a full bar with a great selection, which makes it a good option for both lunch and after-work meetups. This time I had the quesadillas and enjoyed them. Portions were solid, food was good, and others in our group also seemed to enjoy their meals.
What really stood out was getting to meet the family behind the restaurant. This is truly a family business—started by the mom over 30 years ago and now run by her two sons. You can feel that history and pride when you’re there.
If you’re looking for a classic Mexican family restaurant with good food, a full bar, and strong community ties, Las Palmitas is worth checking out.”

Tony is professional with his beautiful website, clear communication, and makes you feel like family in his warm hospitality. This was the first cake I ever had made by Tony, and it exceeded my expectations. The cake tastes as good as it looks. Upon tasting my first bite I was immediately transported back in time to my childhood remembering the rich unique textures and flavors of a cake from long ago. The entire process of ordering the cake, submitting payment, and picking up the finished product went so smoothly. I simply sent Tony a picture of what I wanted, which was a random image my brother had text to me of a Loki Gator. Tony made fantasy a reality. Tony's Cakes has become our household standard. I will be returning for more "GLORIOUS" cakes as Loki would say! ***Anybody leaving negative reviews about Tony's Cakes probably didn't want to pay, failed to follow the clear instructions on the website contract, or is looking for someone to blame for their errors. Tony did everything his website and contract said he would do. When I arrived at the store all the staff made sure all of my needs were met while I was there, and Tony helped me figure out my Zelle payment, even more he helped us get the cake in the car all by himself. He really didn't have to do any of those things but he did. My only regret is that I should have thanked him more than I did in person, because I was distracted with getting the cake home safe. Dreams do come true at Tony's Cakes! If he did it for my family he can do it for yours too!”

I walked in mistaking it for Vallejo Brewing Company right after they closed for the night, but the menu was so enticing I had to come back during business hours!
The red beans and rice with Cajun shrimp is an INSTANT comfort food go-to, and not to start drama, but a certain barbecue place on the block could learn a thing or two about making amazing cornbread from this chef! The perfect, fresh baked, sweet and buttery portion of cornbread I've had since my mom's recipe.
The $7 cocktail special was also amazing, not too powerful but not so watered down you couldn't feel it!
The gal working the counter was sweet as can be both times I've been in as well.

Being Korean I’m gonna be more critical than the average reviewer.”

However, I go vietnamese restaurant for the quality of Pho and shrimp spring roll. The Pho at this restaurant has very thick soup and it has very light flavor of herbal taste. Some people may not like it. But I love it. Their pho's meat and noodle portion is about 50% more than other places and honestly very delicious. To me, quality of food is lot more important than atmosphere of the restaurant. So I am willing to give 5 star.”

“My most recent visit to Chick-fil-A in Vallejo (Admiral Callahan location) was a good overall experience, especially in terms of customer service—but there are a few things to keep in mind.
This location is consistently busy. When I arrived, the drive-thru line was wrapped halfway around the parking lot, and there were several people inside waiting for mobile orders. I placed my order through the app about 10 minutes before arriving, but still ended up waiting around 10–15 minutes total for my food after checking in.
The staff handled everything very professionally. One employee checked on my order when I asked, and another brought it out, confirmed every item (including sauces), and even held the door open for me on the way out. The service here really stands out—friendly, polite, and attentive.
As for the food, I ordered the chicken strips and waffle fries. By the time I got home (about a 5-minute drive), the fries had already cooled down and were starting to lose their freshness, while the chicken was still warm but not hot. Reheating everything in the air fryer for a few minutes brought it back to near-fresh quality.
Bottom line:

“My most recent visit to Chick-fil-A in Vallejo (Admiral Callahan location) was a good overall experience, especially in terms of customer service—but there are a few things to keep in mind.
This location is consistently busy. When I arrived, the drive-thru line was wrapped halfway around the parking lot, and there were several people inside waiting for mobile orders. I placed my order through the app about 10 minutes before arriving, but still ended up waiting around 10–15 minutes total for my food after checking in.
The staff handled everything very professionally. One employee checked on my order when I asked, and another brought it out, confirmed every item (including sauces), and even held the door open for me on the way out. The service here really stands out—friendly, polite, and attentive.
As for the food, I ordered the chicken strips and waffle fries. By the time I got home (about a 5-minute drive), the fries had already cooled down and were starting to lose their freshness, while the chicken was still warm but not hot. Reheating everything in the air fryer for a few minutes brought it back to near-fresh quality.
Bottom line:

⚠️ Fries may not stay hot for long after pickup
I’m giving this location 4 stars. If you don’t mind a bit of a wait and plan to eat right away (or reheat), it’s still a solid choice.

“If you have the chance to eat here, DO IT! Wish I could give it extra stars!! Amazing, delicious, authentic food. Super sweet mom running it with her two kiddos there. We came with our two year old so it was really nice to be in a kid friendly place. She made sure to bring out his food and drink as quick as possible to keep him happy which we massively appreciate 🙌 She said there was going to be a little wait, except the food came out faster than anywhere else we’ve eaten in town haha. We got the chicken wings, grilled pork bahn mi, pho, coconut prawns, a strawberry smoothie and a coconut smoothie. Everything was delicious, especially the wings. We unfortunately live in Calistoga so we can’t be regulars here but if we could, we would! Support your local restaurants working hard over greedy corporations any day!”

“Excelente servicio y por supuesto la comida es verdaderamente deliciosa viajamos por una hr de San Francisco a Vallejo pero valió la pena el marisco es muy fresco y riquísimo todooooo!! los platillos mexicanos como el Molcajete es muy rico. Al principio ellos ponen chips crujientes frescos y salsa en tu mesa y tienen una barra de diferentes salsas las cuales puedes disfrutar con tus chips, el ambiente te hace sentir como en casa ellos son muy amables y al final te llevan unos ricos churros con crema de cortesía. Volveríamos una y muchas veces más a este lugar.”

“Let me start off by saying I was in the area of Vallejo, which I am all the time. Decided to eat at this place for the first time. Pleasantly surprised one of the best burgers I have ever tasted. I ordered the double smash, classic and cheese fries. Proportions were very good and I personally cook smash burgers and they are hard to be topped and these are right in line. Pricing on these was very fair. Burger plus cheese, fries and medium drink 20 bucks. Not sure where you can eat and get quality like this anymore.”
