“I don't know why people talk trash about Olive Garden as the McDonald's of Italian food. Is the menu full of culinary genius? No. Is it fine dining? No. But it's delicious!!! Portions vary from quite satisfying to definitely will have leftovers. Food comes out quick and hot. Waitress was very sweet. They have booze. And reasonable prices. Can't think of a more relaxed and satisfying date night spot. Have been twice in 2 weeks.“

“This month we celebrated my Mother’s 80th Birthday at ZIO FRAEDOS. We were able to rent their front room to entertain our families and a few of my Mother’s closest friends. Sherry coordinated with our family to make my Mother’s Party a memorable event. I want to commend and say a special, “Thank You!” to - Mr. Jeff. Mr.Jeff you Are Amazing and it was a Blessing to have you help us create a relaxed fun environment for our Mother. These months have been unusual and stressful for everyone. We felt safe and relaxed at ZIO FRAEDOS. This place is an OASIS in Vallejo! On the water with an outside deck, yummy food and The Best Cocktails! Stay Safe and Well. May God Bless all Essential Staff especially at ZIO FRAEDOS.

“Just had my 3rd dining experience this morning and all 3 breakfast meals have been fantastic! As a person on the carnivore diet, I find it refreshing I can order an all protein meal and be completely satiated without paying an arm and a leg. Eggs were scrambled perfectly and the bacon was delicious. And who could have thought a simple burger patty could taste so good. Must be a magic griddle! Highly recommend! Oh, and service is amazing. My Americano was tasty!“

“It is such a beautiful little place. It has a cozy atmosphere. The food was fabulous. We had a party of 13. We had a wide range of delicious food. Lamb ..Chicken Filet Mignon.. Mussels .. Prawns... Sausage . with pastas spinach mashed potatoes green peppers it was all just so good. I totally recommend“

“We love pasta Bella! Michelle and Pam are wonderful waitresses. Haven’t seen Dante in a while. Most every dish we have ordered there has been delicious. The tiramisu is seriously some of the best I’ve ever had. Pasta is yummy! A number of different sauces to choose from. Just all very tasty!“

“My wife and I dropped in for dinner last night and were greatly impressed. The calamari fritti appetizer was perfect. I had the spaghetti de Mare and my wife had the Eggplant Parmigiana. Both entrees were wonderful. The prices are reasonable. The Pinot Grigio was very good, but I hope, that with time, they will be able to expand their vine list.Chef Roberto is a treasure. We left with smiles and will be back.....soon!“

“I made a reservation online but the host didnt find it so she asked us to have a seat and wait. 20 mins go by and we're ignored so I asked if the wait was much longer, or if I could just order to go. I'm told they dont offer food Togo and then I'm asked for proof of my reservation. (Why didn't you ask me 20 mins ago??) Another 15 mins go by, we finally get lead to the back for a table and the noise was overwhelming!! It's like a huge warehouse and everyone is yelling to be heard. The food okay, not memorable. Great to have a restaurant onsite but driving into town would have been a better choice.“

“Pizza Pirate has saved me and my husband many times over the last few years with hot, fresh pasta, kid-friendly options, and so many delicious garlic twists. Sometimes it was when we couldn’t find the energy to cook at home so did a quick call in and pick up, and sometimes it’s because we had a craving to eat out, and each time, we’ve had a great experience and meal! When it was time to help plan my daughter’s end of year school party, pizza was an easy choice for feeding 100 first graders! I contacted Pat at Pizza Pirate a couple weeks before the last day of school to see if Pizza Pirate could accommodate a big order, have them ready before they officially opened, and make sure pizzas were double-cut to limit precious wasted pizza. Not only did Pat respond to each and every email with lightning speed time to accommodate us, he generously gave us the pizzas half off to help maximize our budget for the party and kids. Pizza Pirate is the only place in town my kids love and we’ll be making sure we support them all summer long. After the party, my daughter thanked me for coordinating and exclaimed, I ate four pieces, which is a BIG win for my usually picky eater. Thanks to Pat and the Pizza Pirate team for helping us close the school year right!“

“They were 5 stars pre-COVID, but they went down during the "world tour". This is through no fault of their own. Getting quality ingredients was tough.It's greatly improved and they're working their way back up to the five star rating.Love the calzones and the pizza-definitely not missing the pools of fat from a 2022 pizza. The lasagna and ravioli don't have the five star flavor they used to have, yet. I don't miss the prepacked salads in the styrofoam cups.I can't wait until they're fully back at 5 stars! Keep it up!“

“Best kept secret of El Sobrante: El Chalan, Peruvian and Italian restaurant, offers a family atmosphere with great food at a good price. Warm bread and butter is served from the beginning. Their roast 1/2 chicken and whole fried trout, with home style french fries are very popular. Their sea food dishes, especially the seafood soups are delicious. The Italian food is also excellent. Butter nut squash raviolis, gnocchi, and spaghetti are cooked perfectly. Kids love this place.“
