“I'm very biased when giving my opinion on Agrusa's but that's because it's my favorite sandwich spot in the Escondido area. It's nice to have something different other at the casino that isn't SmashBurger or fine dining. I could eat their food everyday for the rest of my life and having one less than a mile from home drives home my point even more. The service is great and quality control is strict. They have beer too! I've only ever had their #22 but that's because it's the best they one they have. If you're not too busy crushing sandwiches then try their potato salad or spaghetti.“

“This is my first time to a concert venue at the Harrahs Casino in Valley Center. I went to see Aaron Lewis perform and decided to try the sandwich concession located within the casino. Generally, I reference my experience of a Cuban sandwich with Little Havana in Miami Florida. Service was quick and staff was respectful and courteous. They have a unique bread that they toast, but not in the classic Panini style. For those of you that are bread lovers I think you'll like the bread but the contents of the sandwich were a little under my expectation, based on my significant experience in Little Havana. The pork was moist and flavorful, but there wasn't enough mustard and pickle component to the sandwich, ignoring the type of bread, which I thought was very unique, but didn't embellish my ideal version of a Cuban sandwich. I certainly would give this restaurant a try. They offer a number of sandwiches that would complement their unique bread much better, in my opinion. Prices are fair and if you go to a concert venue and used to the outrageous prices, they charge for food not to mention parking. This is a fabulous venue to see an artist you're interested in.“

“I loooove Sunnyside! My fiancé and I typically come here on saturdays and always really enjoy it. The service is great, the restaurant is cute, and the food is fantastic. I always say this when we're there but I feel like what makes Sunnyside so good is that it doesn't taste like restaurant food. It reminds me of like, the best sandwich you, or someone who loves you, would make to eat at home.“

“I Own a Philly cheesesteak place downtown so I wanted to try this place out. First off the staff is amazing and friendly. Very welcoming. Right when you walk in you see the smiling employees and you can tell this is a family establishment. The hot pastrami was one of the best I’ve ever had. “I really enjoyed this location a lot. We went in for some sandwiches and the staff was very friendly and very informative. There is no room to sit and eat, but that is fine as well. The menu had quite a few options besides sandwiches as well. We ordered a meatball sandwich and a pastrami. They come in 8 or 16 inches. I actually got a few meals out of the 16-inch meatball sandwich, so that was good. Their bread is perfect; not too crunchy and not soggy. It added to the flavorful meatballs (and pastrami) so that was nice too. We also got a pickle that they split in four so we could share. Really tasty. For a great sandwich made by nice people, this is the place!“

“Was my first time there...grabbed a Turkey-Bacon-Avocado sandwich & chips for an early lunch while my car was in at the Ford Service Center for a new tire. It was a nice 5-minute walk there & back. Quick friendly service, and no skimping on the meat (bacon was nice ‘n crispy). Highly recommend this place for a filling meal.“

“The best Jersey Mike's in North County thus far, they're the most consistent and least likely to skimp on the meat portions lol. Everyone I've dealt with is courteous and professional, unlike other locations I've been to around the area. We usually order online for take-out and it's always ready before the time they quote you. I've never dined in, but everything always looks clean and organized. I'll keep making this my go-to Jersey Mike's while I'm in the area.“

“We LOVE these sandwiches!!!! We get them all the time. It's not just super processed, cheap, slimy ingredients like subway it REAL meat, amazing bread and all great ingredients! Nothing is the cheap low quality (I won't lie the Mac salad is NOT good though). And toasted it's soooo delicious!“

“Adam is fantastic!! Would love if he could make my sandwiches every time! When they say the sandwich maker is an artist I didn’t believe them, Adam makes me believe it. “The service was phenomenal and the food was beyond anything we have had in North County, honestly. While the food is very obviously elegant, the atmosphere is a nice mix of upscale and local Escondido comfort. The dishes are different each week and each course is very rich and appeals to many unique appetites! The only downside for us is it is very expensive (worth it, though, for sure!), so we cannot go as often!“

“The young man behind the counter was efficient in making my sandwiches, and generally a really nice guy. We chatted while he worked and cut it exactly as I requested. The store is nice and clean, the floor behind the counter as well. I always look at ours and bathrooms. If they are clean, you can trust the areas you cannot see. You can’t hide funk if your place is junk!“
