“I was on a camping trip with some friends at a nearby campsite and our food got all wet so we came to this place for lunch. The people were very nice, the place had a nice atmosphere, and the sandwiches were very good. Good prices too. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.“

“I recently had a fundraising event and Sunny Side was such a great choice for catering. After I sent an email, I got a call back and we walked through the order and right sized it. The guests really enjoyed an artichoke quiche, strawberry chicken salad and three types of mini cookies. Everyone raved about the food. It was all packaged up to be easy to serve. I would highly recommend working with Sunny Side on your next catering need!“

“For years the nearest JJ's was in OC, but in recent years Kearny Mesa opened up and now we have Carlsbad and Escondido.

It's clean, it's new, the staff is friendly. I've been a fan since 2016 when I was eating there on the east coast and to me it was my place before Jersey Mike's exploded.

They seem to be faster on the online ordering when it's busy than when it's slow.

It seems like it's a centrally located store, but it's actually tucked away and not as easy to get to as other nearby FF spots. Fresh vegetable toppings, clean and crisp meats and flavors they aren't as heavy on dressings and sauces as other chains and I actually like how they do a more firehouse toasted subs style rather than just meat on the flat top.

Stick with their classics, the chain isn't as good as others when it comes to new or niche flavors.

I really miss the days when the chain was open late night.“

“Lately been going to Jersey Mike’s often this one seems to be quite busy today definitely was, but the staff was on it. You could see them busting their butts to take care of customers and online orders. I appreciate the friendliness and effort to give me great customer service even when it’s hectic. the Jersey Mike team working today about 3 PM. Great job too way to hold down the fort.“

“Workers were really nice, quick with the food, and helpful with my requests. They were low on bread and had run out, so I went with a wrap instead, and they still made it work with my specific sandwich requests. Everyone was polite and great to talk to. Definitely recommend coming here if you're craving a Jersey Mike sandwich. The food and the staff make it worth the visit!“

“One of the best sub shops around. Much better than Subway and only a bit more expensive (and none of the Jared corporate "ick"). Not quite as good as Jersey Mike's but at a fraction the cost. Its either Submarina or Agrusa's for me.“

“They were way understaffed for a lunch rush on a sunday. Only three people on sift. The three people working did great under the pressure. Wish management would have given them atleast two more people so the line could have moved better, and so mistakes were made, but the staff even though short handed were very welcoming and fixed my order promptly.“

“Customer service here was amazing! The place is super clean and well kept — way better than other Subway locations I’ve been to. Rosa helped us out and she was so friendly and fast! She handled a line of five people before getting to us and made great sandwiches. “I go to this Subway for lunch 6 days a week/week, and love it. Cecelia is the manager, and she is always upbeat, friendly and joyful. She also hires the best staff who are just like her. Loraine is one of her staff , and she is a complete joy every time I go in. I can’t say enough good things about the staff that is always friendly, and easy to work with. Also, the store is always very clean, and well stocked with drinks and chips.“

I was kind of nervous becaue I did not know what to order, so Itold the employee and she was kindly recommend what kind of meat, bread, everything on the menu to me. “I don't usually make a big deal about lids, but the restaurant was out. Then it was closing time and the employee rushed me out with a container with no lid. Not necessarily happy having a container in my car with no lid. Employee didn't offer a smaller cup with a lid.“

“My sandwich was delicious and the lady who worked there was very nice, professional and an asset to the company. I didn't get her name, but it was right before they closed. She was black and she has worked there for 3 years I think she said. She was alone too.“
