“Falafel bowl couldn't have been any better. $6 for a very large bowl with tons of falafel and veggies and DIY sauce. It has no business tasting so good for that value. The Falafel is so fluffy and delicious. I'd eat here every day if I lived or worked “
“Tried their falafel a chicken kebab plates. Loved every bite especially the falafel of course, and the tahini covered lettuce and tomato. I ordered the plate but ended up making my own little wraps anyway as it comes with pita bread. The owners are very friendly and most of the people coming in were obviously regulars and I loved that! Will return soon!“
“This spot has the best hummus in the Los Angeles area. The menu options, the aromas, the flavors will teleport and transcend you to an Israeli hummus experience like no other.Every bite was delicious and indeed yummy. There are several vegan options here that would make anyone want to return for more. My wife and I will.If you're in the area, don't miss Hummus Yummy!“
“Good vegetarian options Falafel Pie is great! Saj perfect + fresh Good prices & options. Za'atar not too salty / and the Labneh is delicious ... Really love this place! Convenient location for me, near the bank and Trader Joe's, across from Target. Service is great and it's not too cramped to sit and eat inside if you need a minute. Love Lebanese food!“
“I love this place. They have the best falafel I've ever had. The hummus and flatbread are so delicious. And the staff is always super friendly. I can't recommend this place enough. It's outstanding.Vegetarian options: Falafel, hummus, pita, Jerusalem salad, pickled veggies, harira soup.Dietary restrictions: Great options if you're eating a Mediterranean diet.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.“
“I live 30 minutes away but this is the only spot that I don't mind driving down to the valley for!!!. Each time it's as fresh and bomb as the first time I came. 5 stars for the quality and taste of the food and the kind Empolyees at the falafel truck !!!!!“
“Wow. The food is excellent, but the star of Flame Grill is Judah. He was super helpful and made sure I was well-taken care of. Very friendly and professional and a genuinely pleasant person to work with. Extremely accommodating, too. Thanks to this fellow, I will be back.“
“Stopped in for a later lunch after strolling around the LA Zoo for a few hours. Unfortunately, they were out of beef shawarma (and don't serve it with lamb), so Jim G. and I opted to share the Rib Eye Plate. We had to wait about 8 minutes or so for the rib eye to cook, which is totally fine. The plate is massive! All the sides on it, plus eggplant and fries on another plate. We also opted to order a little falafel to taste and they were very tasty! The rib eye was but there wasn't really a lot of it there. I realize it's an expensive meat, but the $30 plate cost is comparably more expensive than the other meats. We shared a bottle of red wine ($37) and chilled out with our friends, who all enjoyed their food, too. Huge parking lot in the back, with just a short walk to get to the front of the shopping center, where Tel Aviv is.“
“This place NEVER disappoints! The food is always cooked right and the customer service we got from " Pine" at the cashier was amazing they need people like her. Super happy that Zankou opened this location...I couldn't stand the Hollywood Sunset/Normandie location.“
“Since the first Shabbat that I arrived in America we have been looking for Shabbat catering, since then for about a year we have been coming here every Friday and before holidays to buy kosher and delicious Shabbat catering. I don't know what we would do without this place. He always saves us at the last moment. The owner of the place Dudu always has a sense of humor and good energy!“
“The hospitality from the hostess and my waiter was outstanding. They both exuded genuine enthusiasm, enhancing my own excitement about being there. The ambiance is warm and intimate. I savored the melon salad, cakes, burger, and sesame cookie. The melon salad was a delightful mix of flavors, with a light and refreshing broth. The cakes lived up to their reputation. The burger surpassed all expectations and stands as the best I've ever tasted. The cookie provided the perfect conclusion to my meal, with its subtle sweetness and delectable brown butter notes. I eagerly anticipate my next visit!“
“Best Mediterranean food... very generous served. Reasonably priced.. got all the basic of best lunch shawarma, kobob, spicy sausage... great sauces whether spicy, tachini, or spicy mango sauce. And great cabbage ( green or red) and vegetable salad and to add the extra mile grilled jalapeño, and jabka.( yellow spicy pepper) . What a treat... although wasn't very hungry, couldn't resist to eat with great appetite. One glitch, the fried eggplant was soak with oil.. also its known to. Be like sponge for oil, there's ways to lower the vein. Blocker on the veg...Yet overall am amazing treat on a cold, long day.“
“Really great restaurant. It was my first time ordering and the cashier was so sweet and helpful. It's really nice to come in to a place where the workers have a smile on their face and greet their customers and make them feel welcomed. As for the food, it was delicious the chicken laffa wrap was so good and filling. The fresh laffa was nice and warm and the ingredients were fresh and went really well together. I will definitely come back again.“
“Falafel Palace has been here for 52 years. Same family ownership. Gina is a wonderful person. She greets you with sincerity and guides you through the menu if you have questions. Pride in ownership is evident. I used to go here years ago. We finally made time to revisit. The food was wonderful. I had the lamb gyro with double meat (my favorite). Tender, seasoned just right. Tzatziki and spicy sauce onside. Mom had the falafel in pita. It was huge! She enjoyed it so much that she couldn't put it down. My wife had chicken shawarma. Again seasoned just right and tender. Humus, awesome. We were so stuffed. Had to take a baklava home for later.I suggest stopping by and taking a break from your burger routine. It is great to support a local family run business.“
“You cant go wrong with the food here, the half chicken by the way my favorite os just the best. Such a big good portion that comes. Place is very nice, so is the parkings outside. Only drawback is just lately eating out has gotten so expensive and this is not only in Zankou, this is all over in Cali.“
“When you first walk in and check out the menu, prices look a bit too high. But when you get your food, you see why. Bigger portions. It's pretty tasty food. Would recommend this restaurant. I came here during the week. Cozy little spot to Unwind after a long day. Sat at a stool table near the window, I watched the mesmerizing sunset and t.v. with chill music as I enjoyed my rotisserie chicken sandwich with a bit of fries and a drink. ?✨️??“
“I've been coming here since 1992 or earlier. This is one of my best childhood memories. I remember when the owner had all the autographed pictures of famous people in the walls. I remember he' always said his mother makes the best and has the best recipes, top secret! If you want falafel this is the best. At 44 years old I am still trying to figure out his hot sauce. I crave it. But I'm in Orange County. If I ever go to LA I go there. My wish would be for him to open up in Orange County :)“
