“I just gave a shower in the new smaller private room and I couldn't recommend it more if you are hosting a small event! The room is beautiful, Henry and his staff could not be nicer or more helpful and the food was absolutely delicious! All of the servers were kind and attentive. Melissa who helped coordinate the event was so sweet and patient with me and all of my questions. Thanks to all of them for making the day do special!“
“Many who dine out know about the chicken sandwich craze which spread across the nation several years ago. From gourmet style to fast-food many eateries jumped in to offer their take. Le Coupe is no sleeper and from what I experienced ranks in the top of fried chicken with a twist. Many rave about Memphis style chicken and they should but Le Coupe uses its Louisiana Cajun heritage to make it a "must stop." Their sandwich is exceptional. If you're looking for basic fried chicken, this is NOT YOUR SPOT. Instead you will be treated to fried chicken drenched in a tasty hot, honey style sauce that is the perfect complement. The quality of the sandwich shines as while the chicken is superbly prepared, the bun, the slaw, the pickles take it to a new level. Some might raise an eyebrow over the $15 cost but again, this a'int fast food as you get what you pay for. Moving on, the rib of corn is so basic it's hilarious to mention. But, boy have they hit it out of the park with this appetizer. Ribs of corn are drenched in a mayonnaise chili sauce that makes it a very addictive dish. For $11, worth the experience. The potato salad (made with red potatoes) is fresh made (like the other items), very tasty and a nice presentation by being topped off with fresh chives. The drinks are another hit. Everything is freshly made. The lemonade was tasty and you could taste the quality. Again, at $6, you get what you pay for. LeCoupe is a tiny venue but cozy enough for several chairs, as well as a few outside. Everything is made from scratch but your order comes at a quick pace. Western and Melrose is a busy intersection, so the parking on Western can be tight so you will need some patience or street-smarts. Le Coupe has earned my business so if you're having the taste for some uniquely fried chicken (thighs or tenders) you can't go wrong with them. Price points may appear high but worth it based on the quality your receive.“
“Are you willing to work for your food? Are you willing to wait in a long line? If the answer is yes then please take the time to try Apollonia's. Their hours are strange and they are cash only in the restaurant but it's worth it.This is best thin slice pizza I have had in California. They also have incredible Detroit style slices. The pepperoni vodka slice is a must try.Very little parking.Parking: Very little parking. Small lot that is always full.“
“Food - The best in Korea Town. When I arrived, there were three customers sitting at tables, and five to six were standing, waiting for to-go orders. This place, despite its name, is not a dine-in specialty restaurant but rather a take-out specialty. There were no servers and they were too busy to pack to-go orders.Parking: Finding a street parking spot is incredibly hard, especially on Fridays.“
“I ordered half chicken with broccoli & carrots. OMG! Their chicken is so juicy & tender. It is roasted perfectly! They grill the vegetables with garlic oil, extra flavor! I also tried the Southwestern Bowl (wild rice, rotisserie chicken, street corn, sweet potato, tomato, pickled red onion, avocado with chipotle sauce). Super healthy choice!“
“This is an absolutely wonderful place…warm, inviting and friendly! I have been on several occasions and each time the food has been delicious and the service was always promo and attentive! But for me, the most important part of my experience was the people. The staff truly makes this a great place to be.“
“My boyfriend and I were craving for some healthy but filling food and stumbled upon Mad Rebel. And we are so glad we did and will definitely be coming back! The chef makes his own dressings and the ingredients were all so fresh. We got the Marley, Desperado, and Healthy Heart, and we were both blown away how delicious healthy food can be. The owner quotes “I want my food to give energy and for those eating it not feel gross after” and we sure left satisfied and feeling great!!“
“Pleasant vibe for breakfast in good location on Sunset. Very efficient, warm and welcoming staff. That’s important. Disappointed by the biscuit and hashbrowns. But excellent coffee! I like espresso and this one is very good. Large menu. They also have vegan dishes.Kid-friendliness: It is clear that this place would be a good pick with kids. Relaxed.A lot of choices. And pancakes!“
“i’m gonna give my bare honest review, i’ve been here 2 times! PASTRIES N GOODS R SOOO BOMB !!! the croissant is so doughy and delish!! ughhh the mixed berry danish YUM, apple cinnamon twist PERF!!! they also offer varieties of croissant sandwiches & another type of bread but i forgot which kind… they have bobas, smoothies, juices, and what i came for lattes. both times i can taste the espresso is burnt…. never the less how outstanding the pastries are i still give this spot a 5 star. go try it it’s delish. i know there serving a lot and i’m sure there not crazily fixated if there pulling a clean shot. still love love this place and there FAIRLY reasonable in prices“
“Based on Uber eats orderCrazy salmon bowl was a 3.5. - had too much carrots, I put no green onions but still was added. Wish there was more salmon. Açaí bowl was 4 but wish it was filled to the top a bit. Smoothie was a 5- the pecan parfais“
“The mango sticky rice here is so good! The mangos were really fresh and there were plenty of slices that came with the dish. The crispy bits on top are also an unexpected yet delicious addition and pair well with the sticky rice and sauce. Looking forward to checking out the restaurant in person and trying out some of the main dishes“
“Yo I've lived in sherman oaks for a long time and I cant believe I just found out about this place. I came with my friend for lunch and it was packed. The workers are really nice and I got recommended the torta and the lunch plates. The carne asada plate was fire and so was their horchata it tasted homemade not the powder kind that some places give. I'll def be backParking: 2 parking spots in the back“
“The place is beautiful and the food was delicious. However, the service was not good, the male waiter at the registration desk was a bit rude and I think he is a racist. He let white people in first even though they arrived later than you and only acted friendly to them.“
“I recently dined at Arag Mongolian Cuisine and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The fried dumplings were simply divine, bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The beefsteak was tender and juicy, while the tefteli with ground beef was a delicious twist on traditional Russian cuisine. The proximity to Russian flavors added a unique touch. Highly recommended for a delightful culinary adventure!“
“The lasagna was sumptuous and so light and delicious! I can't wait to have it again. It's the best ever! The service was delightful with a homey feel. The ambiance was bright and cheery. It felt like you were in someone's home and just enjoying the best company and meal you could possibly have. I can't recommend it enough! Oh...and the tiramisu is a must! Also best in show like the lasagna!!!“
“Located in Studio City and serving patrons since 1964, Vivian’s is a classic diner option in the valley. It’s very small on the inside with only a few large tables. They also have more seating in the back, but we were able to find a seat for two in the front for a 10:30 Sunday brunch. They don’t have a dedicated parking lot so it will be metered street parking, which is not that hard to find in the valley. Our server was polite and all of our items came out quickly. I am giving 4/5 stars because the food quality isn’t as good as some other places close by like More Than Waffles, Bob’s, or Paty’s and the inside could use a cleaning. The floor was very dirty under our table and the table next to us even complained about it.I started off with a Coffee, which is my go to order at any diner. For my meal I chose the Eggs Benedict with a Biscuit on the side. The Eggs Benedict had a nice flavor but the eggs were undercooked and runny. They did not have the true poached consistency with the yolk covering the dish, it was too watery and splashed out as soon as I cut into it. Also the biscuit was as flat as an English muffin and really lacked the biscuit or buttermilk flavor. We also ordered the 2x2x2 and the pancakes were actually very good, but it’s also very hard to mess up pancakes. It was not a bad meal by any means, but certainly not as good of one as others I have had close by on the same street.Overall I would say it could be an option if you’re already in the valley and the more popular spots have too long of wait times.Parking: no parking lot, only metered street parkingWheelchair accessibility: no stairs or incline to enter/exit“
“The most authentic Thai restaurant we have found in LA! Very close to what you'll experience in Thailand. We ordered the Som Tum, Tom Yum soup, pumpkin curry, Pad Thai, Eggplant, Hot Basil with tofu (probably a bit more plain than we expected), Pad Woon Sen (most SoCal Thai restaurants botch it, but Chao Krung Thai masterfully presented a perfect, dry, fried version) and mango sticky rice. I would come back again in a heartbeat. Among the cons are difficult parking, slow service and very dark interior.“
“The food is delicious!! They have both burmese food and hot pot / dry pot hot. I tried the burmese food and dry hot pot and it was excellent! The restaurant is a passion project of the owner and it really shows, he just wants people to be able to have delicious burmese food, and he is proud of his heritage. all around awesome!“
“Grain Café Van Nuys is creative LA California cuisine/Mexican/Central American food. They will work with you to figure out particular dietary requirements/restrictions. This branch is in a space that used to be a single family dwelling, although hasn't been used that way for decades. So you still have a homey environment to eat in. It just adds to the warm experience. Recommended highly!“
“This new spot on 8th Street is exactly what we needed. In Downtown, it's difficult to find a spot with fresh food that's delicious and quick. Because this spot is new, there is a bit of a wait for the food but not more than you would expect for food that is being prepared for you on the spot. Everything tastes fresh, not frozen. The staff is friendly and the store is clean. We had a lunch catered for the office. Everyone was pleased and that's sometimes difficult to do when you have 10 people with differing tastes. This means there's one more place where I can grab lunch that's not fried food. My favorite side is their broccoli! I'm definitely going to be a repeat customer.“
“A+ 5 star coffee ! I love this place. Great energy , great coffee and the owners/workers are so personal and inviting . The location is easy to find, the interior is nice with a lot of seating only con is it's hard to find parking sometimes but it's worth it for great coffee .“
“Our favorite pizza place in L.A. out of more than a dozen we've been to. We always get their XL Flyin' Hawaiian which has pineapple, Canadian bacon, and (real) bacon bits. Also, their music is so awesome- usually reggae or something similarly upbeat and laid back. I'm always Shazaming songs while waiting for the pizzaParmesan and pepper flake shakers are usually on the tables but if they forgot just ask, they're really good. It's worth it to ask“
“The food was absolutely amazing! Everyone at the party loved the food. The meat was super Tender and juicy. All the salads and bread was delicious. I’m so impressed with their service. I wish I took pictures of the presentation before we ate all the food.“
“First time visiting and first time trying a chopped cheese... loved it! It was very cheesy, had fresh vegetables, quality beef, and the bread had a nice crunch and chew to it. It's a pretty decent sized sandwich and cost around $17. The employee at the register was super cool and gave us a run down of the menu and gave their recommendations.Seating inside is kinda first come first serve, so just grab a table if you see one open. There might also be tables set up outside to eat right on the sidewalk, but it'd be a bit noisy because of Sunset. We went for lunch on a weekend and it was pretty busy!“
“This is the best Turkish food in town. The quality of the food is great. Everything is fresh, The portions are pretty big. My favorites are Sultan Delight and Adana kabab. Their Baba ganouj is the best in LA. It's not heavy. They have a small area where you can eat but it's mostly takeout. This place is literally a hidden gem.“
“Cute brunch spot w unique things. Parking is annoying to find (just street parking), there was a wait, and tbh some service was kinda rude they have experimental dishes, but overall I think we ordered well and got good food! Seasonal Shaq ($19)- tbh, this tasted like tomato sauce in a pan for me but my friend really likes their shakshuka so maybe I'm unseasoned. Their bread is yummy and fun! Rainbow Toast ($15) - their viral toast, it was good! Brioche was fluffy with nice variety of jams. Think it's steeply priced so I feel like I could make this at home LOL but good to try once Classic Latke tot ($19) - crowd favorite, this was unique and really good! Superrrr crispy potato with a lovely balance of flavors (salty/briney roe, creamy creme fraiche, sweet jam) Just a little expensive for the portion but I'd get this again! Crispy works ($15) - also a favorite from us! Crispy rice was delicious with a really good balance of flavors. It's not heavy and this portion was also really good for the price, also would get this again! Instagram - @joangela.eats“
“I ordered a falafel wrap with standard toppings and it was delicious!! I would add a little extra yogurt sauce next time but it wasn’t dry by any means. Also, the cilantro/jalapeño sauce is killer. I found myself on their website dreaming of my next order…!Vegetarian options: Falafel, hummus and lots of grains and salads to choose from.“
“I love this pizza place. It so delicious and always satisfies my cravings! They are super friendly 10/10 and pizza is SO GOOD 10/10. They were super kind enough to deliver my pizza (my address was slightly out of there delivery range) Delivery was fast and easy. My food was still hot and very enjoyable.“
“This place is a hidden gem. The portions are big and the price is small. The food is absolutely delicious. The customer service was spot on. The next time I'm in the area this will be my go to spot. I will definitely eat there and take a meal to go.“
“This place is awesome for lunch! Everything is always super fresh and you can tell it's made to order. Portions are perfect and everyone that works there is super friendly. They make pretty much everything in house (hummus, dips, sauces) and all the baked goods are homemade too (the bread is homemade!!) And the parking lot is a huge plus! The food tastes great to go as well so a great option for lunch or quick dinner“
“Was in it the area for a meeting and want to eat something fresh and healthy so I found this place on yelp first impression was as if I was going to park in the gas station next-door. However, once I went in, and ordered food, everything was great. Christina and the front was amazing and helpful. Her recommendations were on point and everything was delicious. she did everything from recommending, taking our order, and propping the food. And all with a smile on her face. Will definitely come back for lunch if I'm in the area again.“
“I received a free coupon for one item, I opted for the chicken sandwich. It was really tasty, not greasy at all, the bun was soft had a sweetness to it almost like a Hawaiian bun, the pickles were crispy and delicious and overall my food experience was really good. I believe I met the owner, he was very kind and gracious to allow me to taste some of their homemade beverages. I thought all were good. Overall I had a good experience and will definitely be back when I have a chicken sandwich or tenders craving. So many options to choose from so I look forward to trying it all out.“
“I am so glad I finally got to try Alfalfa! If you're looking for a healthy, stress free (there's a parking lot!), pretty in pink, zen-like breakfast, lunch, or dinner - Alfalfa is it. They also have a location in Santa Monica if you're in that part of town. For my bevvy I tried the Vanilla Oat Milk Latte which was wonderful. I also got the Buffalo Goddess Wrap with medium dressing. The only thing I wish I did was add avocado which I was planning on doing but slipped my mind when ordering. This wrap was SO fresh and light but also had lots of flavor. I really enjoyed it. Lastly, I had to get a donut. Got the maple walnut - this was the only thing that tasted a liiiitle off. Maybe because it was gluten free? But when you have it with the coffee it makes it better. Prices are pretty normal for LA. The staff was absolutely lovely. Since it was my first time I had a few questions and they were able to help me pick out the perfect meal.“
“This place is sooo fresh! I love their Sicilian sandwich !! It always tastes so fresh and the bread is sooo amazing ! Their pesto is made in house and NO NUTS which is an absolute win! Also the workers always are always helpful and have a great attitude !“
“It was pi day, so it was BOGO—definitely value for money! We had such an enjoyable evening and were even gifted a dessert because one of our pizzas took a long while to come out. Our server (Jessica, if I heard correctly) was gracious and in good spirits considering how busy it was. Naturally there was plenty to take home, and I can verify that my leftovers were still delicious today! Bonus: a really adorable and beautifully quiet baby at the next table.“
“Stopped by for lunch while I waited for my dog around the color! Ordered a soup, seafood fried rice, street food pad thai, a roti and a coconut flan .. it was all super yummy! Not too much oil, sharable and enough left overs to eat later!Service was friendly, approachable and super attentive. I’m not sure why it was slow but I’d be here once a week if I lived near by!I highly recommend it!“
“Do not go to wing stop or Bw3’s ever again if u live anywhere near here ? ? sooooooooo gooooodddd I got 10 wings (they hooked it up fatttt) bone-in, fries, and it was so good like I’m Lowkey lost for words lol please do not sleep on this spot holy smokesParking: I was parked, in and out in less than 60 seconds yall“
“"It is a delightful brunch spot! The waiting time was minimal, and the staff, especially our server, was incredibly polite and attentive. I was promptly seated upon arrival. The food was delicious, and the coffee (Cafe David 507) was some of the best I've had. The ambiance felt fresh and organic, adding to the overall experience. I'm glad I had the chance to enjoy this place and would highly recommend it!" La Tenedor @peluchese“
“Wow! I have to thank my friend for turning me on to Black Rabbit Cafe. This gem is located inside Abyss Market. I frequent this store after work, so the food cafe is closed when I come here. I was off of work today, and am I glad I ordered the BLAT. Bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomato sandwich. It was THE best sandwich I've ever had. Perfect ratio! I'll be back to try more delicious food.“
“I should have taken a picture before I started devouring my food. Got the bowl with brown rice, crispy tofu and pretty much all the toppings. Had the traditional Fish sauce and cilantro ginger sauce. It's delicious. I feel like there aren't a lot of options in this area and this is a great one! Something for everyone. The bowl is huge so I'll probably save the rest for dinner. Highly recommend if you're looking for something tasty and healthy-ish in a hurry!“
“Spacious restaurant with eclectic, authentic menu of moles, tacos, etc., and an array of mezcals varying from the popular bottles to smaller, family owned distilleries. We tried the fried crickets and a manager brought out cheese as a pairing. So good!“
“This is the best salad you will find. You get to choose all the ingredients yourself. So fresh and so many choices. And they will toss it for you. They cook the chicken fresh, so it comes out hot and juicy. I like to eat my salad there in a bowl with a metal fork (no plastic). Yummy. Worth every penny.“
“This is my new go to place for all of my salads and healthier meal options. It always seems super quiet, so I hope that they are getting lots of business as I do not want this place to close down as the next closest place is Miles and Miles away.“
“The UC Bahn Mi chicken sandwich & adult grilled cheese 10/10.Both were extremely excellent. Unique in flavor/quality, perfect meal size portioning and competitively priced. 10 out of 10 points for both sandwiches.Urbane Cafe has a excellent variety of healthy food options for all dietary restrictions. This location also had, excellent customer service, a clean/new establishment environment and a polished feel. The sandwiches were still warm 15 minutes later when we got home and the smell of the sandwiches in the car while driving home really stood out to both of us.First I will speak of their new "UC Bahn Mi" sandwich which I ordered for myself. It is extremely unique in it's flavor profile. The portioning was perfect, the amount of sauce on the sandwich was perfect, the sandwich was filling yet felt like a healthy light option.Tastewise, my tongue felt this sandwich was an artful expression of local and exotic world flavors combined perfectly at once.Hands down, I would recommend getting this sandwich over all others if this is your first time coming. Also, all sandwiches come with a quality side salad of spring mix, a couple Mandarin orange pieces, feta cheese sprinkle and balsamic oil and vinaigrette mixed dressing on the side. It's my first time coming here and the food is extremely fresh and the flavor combinations in their sandwiches are spot on. During our visit we purchased two sandwiches so I cannot speak of anything other than that. However, if the food that we got is a good representation of the unique flavor profiles of the rest of their food then I would rate their menu an A+. I give top scores for presentation, flavor profile, unique combinations, freshness, menu options, and customer service. Also, apparently you can get extra sandwich sauce on the side which comes in a pretty large portion cup.We placed a to-go order at the register around 2:30p they are fairly busy & it took about 12 minutes for our food. They bake their sandwich bread inside what looks like a large brick type open oven as a pizza place would do. When you order a sandwich, your bread is pretty much baked to order as you watch. They're able to do this as the sandwiches use a flat bread style. You place your order at the register they give you a number and you can wait anywhere in the cafe where they will bring you your food regardless if it is for here to go.It appeared as though it was the manager who was filling the roll of expediter, inspecting, packing & running completed orders to guests.I have to hand it to the person that was handling this at 2:27pm 3/8/24. This gentleman was extremely friendly, gracious, professional, warm, welcoming & part of why I would come back sooner. Please, pass on to him how noticeable good he is at the things that he does.I left feeling like I had made a good decision to go there and I would like to come back. The guests in this location appeared well put together with a mix of middle and lower classes. My final comment is not one directed to this establishment itself. My only complaint, if you can call it a complaint, is the general cost of eating out. The final bill with two sandwiches, each coming with a small side salad automatically was a competitive $24 which is a tidbit too high for me. The cash register uses a system to ring you where you are automatically asked to accept or deny leaving a tip to which paying customers likely never appreciate. The location seemed steadily busy at 1:30 in the afternoon on a weekday but not so busy where it was uncomfortable or a noticeable wait for food. There is plenty of seating inside and out with umbrellas outside and a fenced-in patio which is across the street from a park. It's very nice location where Inside the establishment I saw a nurse on her computer on her lunch break, families, professionals on lunch breaks and just local people or couples out getting lunch here. The seating arrangement inside is extremely variable from cushioned bench, booth, chair and high barstool style of seating options. The patio is very larg“
“I just discovered this place, so I've only been able to try their Gazpacho (I like mine cold, so I let it sit in fridge for a few hours), Hummus, and Homemade Pita Chips, and they were all fantastic. I can't wait to try their other food.Vegetarian options: Everything I tried was vegetarian“
“Ok so I’m not vegan or vegetarian, but I gave this place a try and it is absolutely delicious! I got the deluxe chicken sandwich with tater tots. The sandwich was flavorful, crispy, and the bread was soft and buttery. The tater tots were really good as well!“
“I had an absolutely fantastic experience at this meat shop! The service was top-notch, and the flavors were simply mouthwatering. Patrick went above and beyond to accommodate my changing order, demonstrating professionalism and kindness throughout. His exceptional service truly sets this establishment apart from any other meat shop I've visited. I highly recommend this place to anyone in search of delicious meats and outstanding customer service.Keep up the excellent work, Patrick!“
“The chicken is cooked perfect just enough flavor!! The sauces are the perfect way to kick it up. Salad dressing is insane so satisfying. All of the sides are delicious. Don’t forget to order Schmaltzy potato’s the best way to eat potato’s“
“I was told about a secret little pasta shop on Robertson in Beverly Hills called 1-2-3 Pasta that was serving up amazing pasta dishes at a ridiculously fair price. I found the restaurant and had a truly great Rigatoni Bolognese and a couple meatballs! Wow! Such impressive flavor! I haven’t been surprised like this in decades!(since the early days of Locanda - Now long gone). The place is small, friendly and must for those who love good, simple, pasta!“
“My husband and I wanted to try a new Thai place so we came here thinking it was the one we saw online, we parked and noticed it was the wrong one but were to hungry so we ended up trying it and OMG this place is so good and our waitress was extremely nice! We got the orange chicken, Chinese broccoli with crispy pork mild, chicken chow mein and a small white rice, the chow mein and Chinese broccoli dish had a really good smoky flavor would definitely come back this time with my whole family. We also got Singha beer each it's a good light beer.“
