“So my friends invited us here because it was allegedly haunted and although we didn't see a ghost it was still really fun! It's a really unique bar, super small and intimate, and since it's next to the Pantages Theatre you get to see a lot of interesting characters. “the kibitz room is really funny to me, I don't know what it is it's just kind of funny that it exists you know, like it's such a different vibe than the deli. they let me bring in a big thermos after giving it the smell test and making sure it wasn't full of a gallon of vodka, so I was lucky I wasn't carrying around my usual gallon of vodka. the world is going to hell in a handbasket. one time a server did not believe me that I wanted the pickled herring, I guess I'm hard to read, but I promise I never make jokes like that, if I order it it means I want it. I respect that server though. there was one time where there was a server there and he lived in unfortunate circumstances, but he did me a favor which makes him honest in my eyes. I just love the cast of people there, including the ones that are only there for a bit because they screwed up Rodney bingenheimer's order. hahaha“
“Great place, great prices, great food and great drinks. New favorite for me. I’m not a big fan of loud bars or restaurants as I prefer having a conversation without screaming. So my experience here was a breath of fresh air as it was nice and quiet with background music being just that… background music. Not trying to make your ears bleed like most places these days hahaha.“
“One of my favorite dive bars in town. Inexpensive drinks ($11 for my Ford's Gin 'n tonic) and excellent service from the bartenders. On a slow night Justin can easily keep up with drink orders while beating you at darts. Dodgers and Lakers games usually on the TVs. Last call at 1:30 am most nights. There's one scruffy pool table in the bar, one dart board, and the men's room has more graffiti than most men's rooms. It gets packed Thursdays through Saturdays. Plenty of friendly people in the bar. Very diverse crowd. One night as I was walking up, a woman stumbled out and threw up right at the entrance. Everyone just stepped over it to get in. The only thing this place is missing is good bar food, but you're welcome to bring your own. Monty's is next door where you can get a good plant-based burger, or you can go across the street to Carl's Jr and get a Star Burger for half the price. Loads of excellent Korean food nearby. It would be nice if someone opened a taco stand in the parking lot at the corner. No parking, of course, and this part of K-Town can be tough to find a spot. Best to Uber/Lyft anyway. “you can actually hear some really good acts at this place, famous blues artists especially. they have open mic nights but you're very encouraging. I like the way it's decorated in there; of course it's not as good as Ireland's 32 but it's slightly better than universal bar and grill. mind you they are all very close in the running. the point is I recommend going, and I really hope they don't dismantle all the strip malls because a place like this can't exist with apartments over it I don't think“

Shooting games, old school mario games , dj different themes different day.Open floor plan tables in the sides of walls.Parking street parking nearby if you make it their on time elmwood and rosewood.Spent 1 to 2 hours just felt like a kid again playing games I used to.“
“Love this bar. Linda is probably one of the best bartenders in Hollywood. It's primarily metal but opens the door for a lot of alternative music. Parking isn't great but you should take an Uber or a get a designated driver if you plan on grabbing drinks in Hollywood.“
“I'll put it to you like this, on the night Black Panther came out in theatres the late great Chadwick Bozeman spent the evening with friends at the dime. Now think about that, he could've been anywhere in the world but he was at the dime. My point is this is the kind of place that the biggest celebrities in the world can come and feel like just part of the crowd. The Dime is by far one of my favorite dive bars in all of LA. They keep a good rotation of djs and they all bring their own flavor. I'm a big 90's hip hop head and they're always playing dope stuff that I grew up on. Bartenders are always a vibe and pours are legit. I used to frequent the Tuesday comedy night when Adam and Nicky hosted and I can't count the amount of good local comics and famous comics I've seen for free here. Now that I'm older I don't go on the weekends as much because it gets stupid packed but if that's your things go for it. For the guys this is one of the best places to meet women because no one is pretentious here, just enjoying life and vibing. With Fairfax constantly changing by the day it's great to still have a local staple that hasn't lost its magic.“
“I came here after an assistant director told me about it. After Mother's Day I decided it was time for mother's night. I hit up residuals lone wolfing it. I was quick to befriend a comedian who informed me that the White Russian drinks they make are good. Their prices are extremely reasonable compared to most bars in LA. Tip if you have a residual check for under a dollar you get a free drink. Make some friends with old people. I met a variety of different interesting characters. WARNING: This is a bar where people can actually sing during karaoke.“
“Very surprised at the classy environment despite the fact its such a small establishment, but that made absolutely no difference in the quality of the atmosphere, customer service and the friendliness of the working young ladies. Their demeanor was so amazing, not rude stuck up or in anyway unwelcoming. They were actually extremely classy, and that made the whole place classy.. And not the least bit distasteful which was a pleasant surprise based on bad past experiences at less desirable establishments. Specialty cocktails are regular-priced almost as high as Ventura Blvd.Staff does their job and treats customers like they are happy to be there.“

First thing to be noted is Terry and Will the bartenders are valley legends, I'll take the Pepsi challenge that they have the best pours within a 15 mile radius. Now I'll warn you it's 1000% a local bar. Very no frills and the men's bathroom is reminiscent of a NYC subway in the 80's but it's all good because you can get a triple Tito's and red bull for $6. Come on down, have a drink and tip your bartender“
