“Lunch Time and ordered over the phone. Chile Relleno Burrito is delicious. It is cheesy and filled with rice and beans. Side order of chips included . Only picked up and ready by the the time stated over the phone. Friendly staff and delicious food. Give Burritos Lalo a visit for delicious Mexican Food in Old Orcutt.“

“Their soup is really special here. I especially enjoy their Albondigas. Caldo de Res was authentic as well. Whenever my friends are sick, I bring them takeout albondigas.
My fiancé had a whole fried fish which was nice and crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Their flan has a delicate texture. They often have a birria special which I look forward to trying. The atmosphere is welcoming with traditional decor!
Side-note: my friend has a fish allergy so is weary of seafood restaurants. The staff is accommodating and she’s never had a reaction here indicating that their kitchen is very clean and they don’t cross contaminate their dishes.“

“4 stars because the kitchen staff frequently messes up my order, which is rough because I always have pay extra for the avocados and guacamole even when they forget. Seeing Tommy at the window is a relief. He always checks my bag. Last time I ordered online, he noticed and fixed 2 mistakes the kitchen made before he handed me the bag. It's always nice to see him there because it takes the pressure off of me having to ask and double-check everything myself (which makes me feel like an annoying customer). Tommy is a champion. Thanks for your extra help!“

“I began eating at The Tortilla Shop 63 years ago! I give them 5 stars for still being there and for making the best tacos and enchiladas I have ever tasted! I’m 71 now and will be there soon! I am excited !! I have never found anything like them in all these years. We ate there until 1966 and moved. Very sad.“

“I had the burrito loco and it was delicious. I loved the amount of meat and beans inside the tortilla and then on the outside they gave me guacamole and sour cream and Pico and lettuce. The burrito was actually covered with red sauce that was really good all in all it was an excellent value for the money and very filling and very delicious would highly recommend the food here.

Thought it couldn't get better but tried the burrito loco California style and the potato wedges in there and the steak were absolutely delicious would highly recommend it. Also they made a mistake with the menu and made the wrong item and gave it to us and they were very gracious and very nice.“

“Good food. I got the asada wet burrito with the red sauce. Definitely has heat. Great amount of cheese and sauce in my to go plate. Lots of meat. Great tortillas as well.
I was a little sad I couldn’t get carnitas as that’s what I usually prefer for meat. Maybe because I came about 1045 it was too early? Asada wasn’t bad, but I tend to find it a little bland. I’d eat here again.“
