I give this “Young Kid Shop”’ 5 stars! Because, if it is not on the Menu, I would bet my life Miss NADIA would not only make it, it would be absolutely delicious!

I gotta be honest: If you are looking for the best ... whatever food .... in town, don't bother to go. This place is about atmosphere and having a good time. The food is good, and we had an amazing time with our waiter Shilly yesterday - and left well fed and with $100 for the four of us fairly priced - given the location I would have expected more. Wow - five stars for OK food? Absolutely. In my very own rating scheme, it is mandatory for five stars that I would be willing to do a 30+ min detour just to go to this particular place. And I did. Many times. And will do it again. We've been to the Ivy's in Beverly Hills the night before. It would be totally unfair to compare on a mere culinary basis. The second the first bite of Alex’s incredible burrito and street tacos hit my mouth there was no going back. His ability to create such incredible flavors in not only the burrito itself, but all of the add ons and sauces as well is OUT OF THIS WORLD!! Would go again, again, AND AGAIN! 😋 Not to mention Alex’s ability to make you feel at ease and have a great time in such a comfortable setting.

“I’ve been laid up recovering from a major surgery recently. So I’ve been making a point to order from a lot of the local restaurants. Mexican food is my comfort food go to so I’ve been hitting up all of the locals.

I ordered the posole and the albondigas soup.

Albondigas: the broth was thicker and richer than a lot of others. It was generously filled with the meatballs and plenty of vegetables. You get a large container and it’s absolutely delicious.

Posole: again, the broth was very thick and Rich. They might thicken it with tortilla chips, which is a common thing, but the flavors are there. Large chunks of slow cooked pork. Very good lean chunks that are fall apart tender. No grizzly bits or extra extraneous fat. Was absolutely a pleasure to eat and hit every single spot.

Overall, this place is a fantastic little gem. The homemade flour tortillas just add an extra little delight to the entire meal. I couldn’t be happier than to have this place in my backyard. If you’re considering going, it’s gonna be very hard to find something you don’t like about their food“

I can’t say enough how incredibly delicious this restaurant was. I called my friend, Dan R (Legendary, Venice, Photographer, and the world ) for a recommendation on some delicious Mexican food. He laughed and said Tacomiando (why he was laughing just delivered him food from the restaurant… he said this is definitely the best in the area and he was not mistaken. This food from the cleanliness of the restaurant to how nice and helpful the staff was I always judge a restaurant on their chips. As well, I can honestly say these chips were incredible along with everything I’ve tried. I almost forgot to mention they’re incredible salsa bar. Hope you can see in the photo, but it was quite extensive. ✨🤩😍

The al pastor was also awsome, but it was very different from what I normally think of as al pastor. I'm almost tempted to say that it wasn't really al pastor. It was delicious though. I highly recommend it. The chicken taco was very well cooked, and nice and juicy, but would have benefited from some more seasonings or a marinade or something. Still good though.“
