“Best Chicken I ever done did have, chicken is juicy, the spice is out of the world, and when they say hot, they mean HOT! The staff was also the nicest I've ever talked to, asking me if I was sure I wanted the x-hot. They even gave a sampler to show me what's up! They also gave me a lil somethin extra, and they're overall the nicest staff I've ever had the pleasure of talking to! 11/10 would recommend!“
“Thrilled to share our Bruxie experience! On the hunt for a top-notch Nashville Hot chicken spot, my girlfriend and I stumbled upon this gem close to home.Kudos to the staff - a warm welcome and attentive service set the tone. My girlfriend opted for the Fried Chicken Waffle Sandwich with spiced tots, while I tackled the Kickin' "Nashville" Hot Fried Chicken Bun. Waffle fries were good, but those spiced tots? A newfound love!My sandwich delivered - crispy, bursting with flavor, and just the right kick. And oh, my lady's waffle with honey? Pure bliss! The restaurant itself is a sunny haven - inviting and spotlessly clean. Parking might be snug, shared with other popular joints, but trust me, the flavor adventure is worth it!“
“This "Angels Bowl" (essentially a deconstructed hot chicken sandwich with bread swapped for crinkle fries) was everything I had hoped it would be. As a transplant who regularly grumbles at the cost-to-quality/portion size ratio of Hollywood restaurants, I feel this was good value. 2nd highest spice level was enough to get this Midwest-Polish boy sweating, but happy-sweating. Friendly staff. I'll be back.“
“Klunkin Chicken isn't just about the delicious food - it's also about the warm hospitality. From the moment you walk in, the friendly employees make you feel right at home. Combined with their juicy, flavorful chicken and signature sauces, Klunkin Chicken offers a dining experience that's as memorable as it is delicious.“
“I got the fish sandwich with the upgraded caviar tartar sauce. It came with French fries and Daybird sauce...it was good. I am not sure the caviar is worth the price point. The filet was cooked perfectly and went well with the potato roll. I would definitely eat there again if I lived in the area.“
“Wow! What a delicious and fresh hot chicken sandwich. Fries were also fresh and yummy. I recommend ordering ahead and taking out. They make each order fresh, so it takes a few minutes. Just a couple of tables in small dining room. Very clean place with super friendly staff.“
“I went to finally try this spot on a Thursday for $2 tenders. Ordered 2 cool (less than mild), 2 glow (mild), and 2 spark (medium). They all came out looking the same and once I tried it all, there wasn't much of a difference in spice level. I could've tried the next tier after Spark --- I think .The batter was great - loved the crunch and crispyness of it.I thought they would've been stingy about the $2 tenders but the size of the tenders were a good size.Staff was nice and efficient for a busy Thursday lunchtime. There's outdoor seating if you can't find a spot inside.“
“This new spot on 8th Street is exactly what we needed. In Downtown, it's difficult to find a spot with fresh food that's delicious and quick. Because this spot is new, there is a bit of a wait for the food but not more than you would expect for food that is being prepared for you on the spot. Everything tastes fresh, not frozen. The staff is friendly and the store is clean. We had a lunch catered for the office. Everyone was pleased and that's sometimes difficult to do when you have 10 people with differing tastes. This means there's one more place where I can grab lunch that's not fried food. My favorite side is their broccoli! I'm definitely going to be a repeat customer.“
“This place is great. I did not give it 5 Stars because it’s rated at 4.8 and this is too high. The food is about a 4.2 and is comparable to Chik-fil-A in terms of quality. So my rating is to try and bring the average where it should be.We ordered the two slider combo (#2) and slider and tender combo (#3). I tried the medium and hot. The medium was the perfect amount of spicy and was even a little sweet. The sweetness could have been the Dave sauce which is some sort of thousand island house sauce. The hot was good too, but it did have a kick. I’m not sure I would enjoy eating two items that were both hot so beware unless you’re into spicy. The tender was delicious, juicy, and well seasoned. I believe it was a chicken breast. It’s much bigger than a Chik-fil-A filet that you can order a la carte.I almost ordered the shake but it was almost $10 with Cinnamon Toast Crunch so I decided to pass. All in all, I highly recommend you try this place.“
“I love this place! The chicken is deliciously spicy. I love spice, so I get hot spice and it's perfect. The fries are well seasoned and crispy. The white sauce is the best sauce. My order is always ready when I get there and the staff is very kind!“
“All in all, the experience was good. The chicken was good, but not as good as I remember it as a boy. The service was good and the place was clean. I just don't believe rap music is the music I would be playing at a location like this.“
“The chicken burger was very tender and juicy. loved the pineapple set it apart from the other chicken burgers. Restaurant is super clean and organized and great service. wings and fries were a bit to crispy/dry to my liking. The Jojo fries were perfect and onion rings. Also got a complimentary drink for being there anniversary. Definitely coming back.“
“Large, luscious burger, high quality meat, just dripping its juices and sauce I was soaking up with the fries, chasing every drop. And the fries -- creamy inside surrounded by perfectly crisp outsides, lovely light seasoning that's not salty. Oh, man, and my daughter loved her chicken sandwich and its (red) cabbage slaw. I had a taste of the slaw, now I'm tempted to have that sandwich next time just on the strength of the slaw. And all at a totally reasonable price, srsly. Nice people, too, and a quiet courtyard at the side for eating there. I can't wait to go back. I forgot to mention the buns were the kind that are soft but compress down as you bite to be part of the chewy yumcious. Just great.Vegetarian options: Veggie Burger“
“Fried Chicken wings to Die for!Atmosphere: Small restaurant hole in the wall very no frills, tv playing korean tv shows counter to order, Clean restroom and maybe 6 tables to sit. Overall pleasant interior.Everything is fried to order, be patient and you will be rewarded. It took 20 minutes but I would wait hours for this its that good. They use a Rice flour which I think is key to their amazing chicken. This also makes the breading naturally gluten free I believe.Food:Soy Sauce Honey Wings - This is the most amazing combination of sauces, sweet and salty perfection. The wings were PERFECTLY fried and insanely addicting. i could drink this sauce daily.Original Wings - The literal crispiest chicken I have ever had. You could hear the crunch from our house 30 minutes away. The flavor and quality is unmatched. The only wings i could easily say needs NO sauce whatsoever, the chicken speaks for itself.. salt, pepper and crunchy heaven.Pickled Radish - So sweet and delicious a great palette cleanser, also a must get!Drinks:Canned Sodas and teasPrice:This is a case where I gladly say YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, the quality of the chicken and the amazing fry they get along with the unbelievable sauces. Around $17.00 for a small order which is 9 wings both flats and drums.Parking:They have a free 2 hour parking lot which we were lucky enough to find a spot at. I could see parking being an issue if you dont get a spot in this lot for sure.Service:The absolute nicest staff. The owners were so gracious and warm and welcoming. This is how a meal out should be, they appreciate that you are there and we had NOTHING but praise for the entire experience. The fact this place isn't on EVERYONE'S MUST EAT list is shocking to me. This is the BEST chicken wings in LA hands down.“
“Amazing customer service here at hangry moons always has me coming back for more. Food is amazing for a late dinner and pricing is at an affordable rate. Will always recommend hangry moons if you’re ever in the Westwood area! 11/10 overall!!“
“This place delivered as advertised! Super moist chicken. The atmosphere was ok but lots of dirty tables and when I asked about it the staff member gave me her towels to clean it myself. Overall, it was a manageable experience and this was my second trip the first was fantastic!“
“I'm glad this tasty, family-run restaurant is in my Los Feliz neighborhood. Happy that they've expanded their menu because the Persian Armenian food is delicious. Never had a bad meal, and never had anything but friendly service. Solid, un-pretentious, and relaxed. I dig it.“
“The food was amazing! It was our first time and we loved it. The service needs a lot of work. There was a line but it moved fast and we were quick to place our order. It took 40 minutes to receive the food after ordering. Everyone else was receiving their food after a reasonable wait time except me and the couple that ordered right after us. I had to ask at the 30 min mark and then finally received it at 40 min. We ordered to eat in but received it all in a take out bag. We ordered a #1 (received a #1 but charged a #2 on the receipt) a #3 ( but only received 1 slider, tender was missing) and a #4 (but received and extra slider). We made it work since we got the total # of chickens that we asked for and could not wait any longer for them to correct it. The dining room is a mess! We were there for well over an hour and not once did anyone come out to wipe down tables as diners were leaving. Everyone that came in had to sit at a dirty table if they wanted to dine in. An employee, in uniform, was eating at the far back right corner table during dinner rush ( Friday night 5:30). When the employee finished they also did not wipe down the table and left it dirty for the next diner. The overall service is unimpressive for a location that just recently opened (Cicero, NY). We will go back because the food was fabulous but we will not be dining in and will definitely check our order before leaving.“
“Excellent, spicy fried chicken. Easily the best I’ve ever had, and the pieces were large. I also had the fried okra, which was perfectly crisp. The baked beans were just the right amount of sweetness with a little bit of spice.Parking is extremely limited. Google maps shows a larger parking lot, but most of it is restricted to the residents of the building next door. You may need to park on the street and walk if you come during the busy time. Also, the restaurant is on the small side, so be prepared for a wait if they are busy.“
“The best grilled chicken smoked like a barbecue grill in town this is a must try must eatVegetarian options: Other vegetarian options are planting salad rice beansKid-friendliness: Kid friendly fries also plantainsWheelchair accessibility: Double door accessible for wheelchair“
“Maddie was amazing! She is so kind and had a friendly/positive attitude. She took her time with our order and offered service with a smile. We did wait for a while but talking to Maddie made it seem so quick. I love Calif Chicken Cafe and this made me love it even more. Will be coming back to this location soon!“
“This hot chicken spot offers a delicious range of spicy dishes. I recently tried their crispy chicken tenders with medium spice, chicken sandwich topped with pickles and slaw, Nashville chicken tacos with crunchy slaw, creamy mac and cheese, and flavorful mango habanero wings. The tenders had a perfect level of heat, and the sandwich was juicy and well-balanced. The tacos were innovative and tasty, while the mac and cheese provided a comforting contrast. The mango habanero wings stole the show with their sweet-spicy glaze. Overall, this is a great place for anyone craving authentic Nashville hot chicken with creative twists and friendly service.“
“Went to this place today. Saw it on the YouTube channel. I gotta say it was right on the chicken. Was flavorful? The rice was good. The beans were good the salsa. A little spicy but good. The macaroni salad was good, common. Macaroni salad, they saw that the pickle de guyo with cactus was bomb. The guacamole was homemade bomb. I ate a little of everything and it was just right and still had left overParking: They have a nice size parking lotKid-friendliness: The inside is not that big but there are tables where you can sit and eat if you have kids that run around this is not the place“
“Smells good but WARNING - if you don’t have 25 minutes to wait for a chicken sandwich you are better off going elsewhere. They should really have a warning on the door that says Nashville Chicken and your grandmas speed.UPDATE: 100% worth the wait tho. So idk, guess I’ll order ahead next time! So damn good.“
“The staff here are very nice and pleasant, the foo i got was cooked properly and tasted phenomenal. I got the chicken with two sides and a good sized piece of corn bread. My chosen sides were the red beans n rice and mac n cheese. Everything was delicious and had great flavor on top of being cooked to perfection. The combo of seasonings they use on the chicken gives it a very delicious and memorable flavor. I highly recommend checking this place out.“
“I haven't had food this good in a long time. It's a bit pricey, but the quality and flavor are worth the cost. The food is delicious, especially the waffles. The greens are delicious and not canned, candied yams were fresh and the mac n cheese was full of flavor. The chicken was full of flavor and crispy. Delicious food with great customer service.“
“I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place before...but it is one of my favorite fried chicken places in LA. The fried chicken is absolutely in my top 5. The chicken is the star here--forget about everything else except maybe the gizzards--the chicken is why you come to Dinah's. Having said that prices have really increased here like a lot of other places these days. In four short years, the two piece lunch has gone from $7.65 to $13.60. I don't know about you but that seems a lot higher than the current inflation rate. Not picking on Dinah's, but just making a point.“
“The fried chicken is great. I think it's Korean style double fried. It's really crispy even after drizzling the honey sauce on it. I can also vouch for the Cajun corn. Oh yeah, I recently tried the chicken nuggets or popcorn chicken or whatever they were called. They taste good and were a great value for the price.“
“My Favorite chicken place. If you love flavor Dave's is the spot. Whether you want spicy or mild Dave's has the tastiest options. The menu is limited but you don't need anything but their yummy chicken coated in tasty seasonings with possibly the best sauce I have ever had. No lie. Dave's hot chicken sauce is addictive. Popeyes who?“
“Just happened to stop by Wildbird and was very impressed. The free-range chicken was hot and crispy and tasted great. We had the full chicken meal and while it was a bit expensive, it was good. We had the beans and the I would highly recommend getting the sweet potatoes. If you do a Google review you get free salsa and chips. The chip seasoning was good. Geo was our server and was really great in helping us order. I would definitely go back and also check out their other location.Parking: It's Westwood“
“I always appreciate the top notch friendly service. I had mistakenly ordered from another CCC location and Yusef made the transfer of the order to the Westwood location seamless. I don't have a long lunch break, so every second counts. Thanks Yusef for the always positive service, problem solving on the spot, and showing up for the customers ! You rock!“
“This has to be one of the best places if your looking to eat some bomb gril chicken ,2 chickens,2 rice,2 bean and a 3lt soda, and its about 30 dollars and it feed about 4-6 people I get it for my family of 4 and we still have a ton of leftovers. Not only that they have other options if your not a beans and rice person. The people here are literally the sweetest it's always so welcoming here. Would 100% recommend you coming here.Parking: Lots of spaceWheelchair accessibility: They have a wheelchair accessible parking right up front where then entrance is at“
“I looked up Macho Burger it's still under the Chic BB. Stopped by yesterday.one of my ex-coworker is here now. They still have chicken sandos . Prices are reasonable $10 The truffle burger is the top of price line. I got the black pepper cheese burger. It was large, sloppy but quite tasty. I could of easily eaten 1/2 and be ok. This kind of burger doesn't re heat well. That motivated me to finish the macho burger it clashed with my Del estrogen hormone shots. The bun didn't hold up....the fries are very good. They fry well here. They were out of chicken cartilage.... A very Asian item...“
“The food is prepared fresh and it's delicious!! They have a variety of things on the menu besides chicken. The gumbo is a very popular item. There are different locations but I have not been disappointed with the two locations I've been to. LFFC is always a must have when I'm in Los Angeles.“
“Hands down one of my favorite, simplest eats in the LA area. Small, no frills establishment but mighty in taste and consistent in quality and service when I go to get my fire roasted chicken. The chicken held me down for two months as I was in LA work and needed a protein source to use for meal prep. I definitely recommend this spot if you’re a purveyor of rotisserie style chicken with lots of flavor. Great price point too“
“How do I put this, the owner is the heart of this place. He is kind, funny sweet and friendly and it shows in his food. He seems to really care about his place people and food. I sat there a couple times and just smiled and enjoyed my food. I really like this place.“
“Their charbroiled garlic chicken over fries drenched in garlic au jus is unique and worth the 15 mile drive from home. I normally go to the Pico Union one but this one has easier parking and more seating. They also have more selection but I've never gotten anything but the chicken. It was hot and fresh and as always addicting.“
“Wow, what can I say. First time coming to this spot, ordered at the kiosk and our order was done in 10 minutes. We ordered the #2 Monty's Favorite & the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich. Looking at the price I was a bit skeptical BUT after we received our order I can 100% say it was worth with every penny. Portion sizes were great, the chicken was so juicy and flavorful. Do yourself a favor and please try the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich, absolutely DELICIOUS. Haven't had a chicken sandwich that good in forever.10/10, will definitely be coming again soon!“
“Head to the back! During the holidays, I usually purchase chicken sausages for the holidays. One day, i saw that they were selling hot food so i purchased breakfast to go. The food was fresh and the service was good. Everyone was very friendly and the ambiance reminded me my moms kitchen. They do have a eating area. Once you get your order, you need to walk to the front and pay first then take the receipt back before they prepare your food. Service is fast. I really enjoyed the sausage on a bun with grilled onions and mustard. I paired it with my ice coffee i picked up at South LA coffee cafe. Good food, good eats! It's good comfort food. Another time i had grits, eggs and fried chicken wings. The food is fresh and hot. Nothing but good and my favorite spot to get food to go.“
“The food was good. I'm from the South so my expectations weren't high, but it was good. I would visit again. Be mindful to take cash, they don't split checks. My only gripe is that the server was extremely slow, this is the only reason they didn't receive 5 stars.“
“The food here is delicious! But, one of the employees there, little Latino kid who always has earbuds in while customers are coming in, tends to IGNORE you when u come in for food. He, does it deliberately it seems to run customers away so he doesn't have to work. It's, seriously pitiful because if it weren't for him & his "turtle service" this place would be five stars. They, should get rid of him & choose a person who REALLY cares for the customers & wants to work. Regardless, of this particular employee this place has delicious food guys. It's, just sometimes u will need to YELL to get them to come to the front counter to order! Outside, of that employee I mentioned the food is delicious for the third time! ❤️❤️❤️?#He'sBADforBusinessVegetarian options: Menu is small but they have options for anyone who doesn't eat meatParking: Sometimes, the parking can be super congested when they're busy. Because there are other small restaurants inside the lot as well, not to mention a nailspa.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.“
“I've been coming here for years, and I highly recommend making the trip to Dave's Hot Chicken. The food is always delicious and the staff is very welcoming at this location! My go-to meal is the slider and tender combo with the extra hot chicken. If I'm feeling adventurous, I'll get the reaper flavor. Be warned, the reaper is no joke!“
“2 coworkers recommended this place for lunch, I had a chicken wrap, they got a combo like 2 pieces with salad , which looked pretty decent portions, their food came out really fast, mine took like 20 minutes plus, don't know why, I know this place gets busy but we ordered the food about one minute after each other. I was expecting to eat there but looks like is only to go, and we placed our order outside the parking, waited outside etc. The girl who helped us didn't seem so polite, i believe is best to order alone with the tablet that is outside or call to place the order. Anyway the wrap wasnt that bad at all, I will definitely try a new meal whenever I'm around the areaParking: Small lot for a busy place“
“(just passing through the area) i come into this place and like; raising canes vibes. but bro i hope this place takes over every single raising canes. i cannot believe ive never been told about this place. i hate yall for that. god imma be dreaming about what i just ate. (raising canes was my first job and i love them to the core but this place just did everything better)“
“I was pleasantly, just surprised by the quality of the chicken. However, the waffles were a little dry and lacking the bread was also nothing special, but the restaurant was almost empty and the chicken was fresh, which leaves me to believe that this restaurant deserves a little more love from the LA community, especially during Black Lives Matter.“
“When I first moved down to LA, this was one of my favorite food discoveries. I loved ordering CCC for lunch or after the gym. What's changed in the last 3 years? My issue is that nothing has changed. The redundancy of the drive-up, receive a clear, yellow bag, drive back and enjoy my cold wrap or salad has become more of a chore than an experience. It's almost like a check the box "Did you eat today?" To their defense, the customer service, portions, and quality have always been top tier. For some reason I just don't crave CCC anymore. I'm not saying opening the lobby would change this, but the company could definitely use a shake up. A new menu item, a different wrap or salad, anything to excite the patrons. The saying goes "if it ain't broke don't fix it" but I vehemently disagree when it comes to CCC. They have the infrastructure to roll out some pretty cool food choices (ie seasoning the chicken in wraps, a hot wrap item, a new salad). Probably talking to myself here but oh well! CCC hear me out!“
“Always loved coming here with my family and getting the family meal or the plates. Now I like to get the bowls as it has rice, meat, and two sides. Comes with a garlic sauce and one more sauce you get to choose. I get the hot sauce. Always parking in the lot. It is free valet but def tip“
“20 year customer I saw the family in the beginning the work relentless. Even though its family ran my friend made and I am happy for him. Just professionals working now??? family said we done?? I can still get me some good chicken hot rolls fresh its good.“
“OMG, if you know me, then you know I love my chicken. Whether it be grilled chicken, BBQ chicken, chicken nuggets, chicken tenders, all of the above!!!We were driving around in the area and as soon as I saw this location, I bookmarked it. I looked at the pictures and was sold. I had planned to visit soon, but since we were done with our business around the same time they opened, I stopped to get a bite. I am so glad I did. The menu is easy. They got chicken tenders, jalapeño poppers, fries, and sandwiches. There are many flavors to choose from too. They got mild to spicy. My favorite was the Lemon Pepper. The tenders are big too. We ended up ordering the 4 piece meal with crinkle fries and I was stuffed. The even best part is that it comes with a Texas Toast. Everything was so delicious. We also ordered Garlic Parmesan tenders but we loved the Lemon Pepper. There are fountain drinks but they also got different flavored lemonades. I immediately saw they had Kool Aid and that was exactly what I got. It was on the sweeter side so I ended up mixing the Strawberry and Mango lemonades to make my own drinks. I guess everyone else does the same, so I was impressed. They know whats up. The staff, service, and speed to get our food were great. We were the first to order so that may be why. But a huge party came in, so this place is def a hit. They got part trays so the next party I have, I may stop by to get a few tender trays. It is delicious!!!“
“This is one of those places I wish I had tried earlier. Everything we’ve had was fresh, high quality and delicious. I’d suggest ordering at the restaurant so you can meet the terrific people who own the restaurant and experience the care they put into making your meal.“
