“Been wanting to try this spot for a while and finally stopped in . I’m Dominican and love Colombian food and it’s almost impossible to find Colombian food here . I didn’t get food this time , I picked out three different pastries . The guava pastry is so soft and savory and the Dulce de leche cone is good just a little too hard for me . I will definitely be back for date night soon . Super clean inside and the owner was kind . Prices are very affordable as well .“
“My boyfriend and I used to live in San Diego and we’d go to the Latin Chef at Liberty Station all the time. He’s Peruvian and loves the Jalea at that location. When the added a restaurant to Oceanside we were thrilled! We ordered the Jalea, it was just as good as we remembered and we will by celebrating my birthday there again this week. YUM!“
“Where can I start, this is by far some of the best Peruvian food ever! Always hot and fresh, their hot sauce is amazing. Just a little but it goes a long way, super savory. If you're looking for something tasty this is the place to go, and they cook pretty fast which is a plus. Everything in their menu is good!“
