“The food here is always on point and the service is top class, we dine here at least once a month and we have always had great service and food the only issue I have is I feel like the restrooms are often neglected with so much traffic I feel like someone should be cleaning those at least every 30 minute to an hour that is actually my only issue with this place. i do realize its only two small restrooms and the place is always packed but even when its nto packed the restrooms still need some attention.“

“Tatsu is a solid spot here that really delivers on atmosphere and flavor. The authentic Japanese design stands out right away - warm wood tones, pink Sakuras, clean lines, and a cozy layout that makes the space feel both traditional and welcoming.

On a packed Saturday night, the team was clearly working at full speed. The chef in particular was impressive - focused, efficient, and handling a nonstop flow of orders without missing a beat. You could feel the effort and care behind the counter.

The sashimi was fresh, clean, and genuinely delicious - exactly what you hope for when you sit down at a sushi bar. The specialty rolls like Flaming Dragon were beautifully plated with a bit of flair, and the uni shooters were the highlight of the night - rich, briny, and absolutely outstanding.

Overall, a lively, high-quality sushi experience. When a restaurant is that busy and still maintains this level of freshness and service, that says a lot. Definitely worth coming back.“

“Really liked this spot. I like the ordering system. I was greeted warmly by the two employees I initially had contact with. I had the biscuit breakfast sandwich, very filling and the biscuit was so good. I had one pancake and man was that delicious! The parking is also a plus. “Love everything about Shadowbrook winery. It's a hidden gem tucked right in the Northgate neighborhood. The ambience is stunning just like or better than any other upscale winery in Napa. This last visit we had dinner sharing the special short rib, the Burrata appetizer and the avocado salad and everything was delicious. Love that you can purchase just a glass or a bottle or even a beer if you're non-wine drinker. It's our go to spot when we have friends come in from out of town.“

“La Plaza is a hidden gem in Walnut Creek. Big menu with lots of options, you can't go wrong with anything you pick.

My go tos are the Chile Relleno or the Nachos. the Bean and Cheese Burrito is also one of the best I've ever had.

Great to eat in or easy takeout for the whole fam. Highly recommend!“

“I went for the lollipop lamb chops, which I had read about on a Facebook page. They did not disappoint! They come with a chimichurri sauce that is incredible. Both my husband and I got the blood orange mojito, and it was so refreshing and tasty! I give Havana a 10/10 on the food, drinks and service!“

“This food spot is really good. Ordered on a whim while attending an event at Retro Junkie. We ordered it on DoorDash for a pickup. It was ready on time, very flavorful and so delicious. It was enough for two to share and for leftovers the next day.

We ordered the General Tso chicken and House special fried rice...I just wish they gave a bit more meat on the rice... it seemed like it was more rice than anything“

“First time here. Super cute & chill vibe. Pic of food was after I ate one shrimp tempura then remembered I wanted a pic of our dinner. The presentation was much better when it arrived. One teriyaki chicken bento with shrimp tempura and a lion king roll was more than enough for two. Overall, super happy with quality and quantity of food. Definitely recommend trying out this place.“

“This is a five star review from someone who doesn’t even like beer. The bartenders here are either very good at what they do or performing some kind of sorcery, but somehow they always manage to find something that I enjoy!

The beer selection on tap and in the fridge is super broad, really high quality, and constantly changing; the atmosphere is laid back; you can bring your own food in; and dogs are allowed! Their regular trivia nights and other events are always a good time as well.

“My daughter and I had dinner here tonight. It's a cozy place, very clean, tables well spaced and the service is excellent. We had chicken and lamb kabobs. The meat was nicely spiced, flavorful not hot and cooked to perfection, moist and delicious. We also had the eggplant appetizer and will be ordering that again for sure on our next visit!“

“I absolutely love this restaurant and have been coming here for nearly 20 years. The staff are attentive and kind, and the food is consistently delicious and fresh. We have celebrated birthdays here and they make it special.

Whether you’re going for a bento box or sushi (or both!), you will be happy with your meal. What I love is that it’s consistent from visit to visit. The sushi is especially fresh and, in the past, I’ve asked them to recreate some of my favorite rolls from other restaurants and they were happy to give it a go (and it came out great).

We visited again a few weeks ago and I was so happy with our meal that I wanted to leave a review. I should have done this sooner… they deserve every 5 stars!

Oh and if you’re a plant lover… check out the gorgeous ficus at the entry. 😍 It’s real and thriving!“

“This is a perfectly adequate thai restaurant. It appears to be a small family operation, and they were nice enough and service was decent and food was edible. I understand that this restaurant has been here a long time, so it seems like a reliable option.

“The place was visited for the first time on June 30, 2025. Parking was limited on the street, but public paid parking was available in the back. The walls featured nice pictures of famous Cheesesteak places in Philly, along with some information. The menu was straightforward with plenty of options. A large classic or original, was ordered, along with a fountain drink. It took about 7-10 minutes from the time the order was placed until the sandwich was received. The bread was really soft. The meat, cheese, and onion were well-balanced and flavorful. A slightly larger size or more filling would be preferred for the price. Overall, the experience was enjoyable. It is recommended, and if ever back in the area, it would be revisited.“

“Love the salmon and my new fav is the dynamite shrimp bowl!! Rice cooked perfectly, shrimp are perfectly cooked and just the right spicyness and bright flavors to perk it up! Delicious! My dad in law LOVES the fish and chips! Says one of the best ever and he’s in his 80’s and from the south so must be good ! Lol 😊 only bad thing to say is the parking in the center it’s in is awful!
