“I’m a huge critic with tacos. I was asked to go in with an open mind and their asada tacos did NOT disappoint!! Food came out quick, hot, and full of flavor. ZERO fat and loaded with meat. Worth the drive from La Verne! They have some new forever costumers!🤍🤍🤍 must try!!!“

“TACOS NOT ON MENU!
Great non-Mexico tacos! But so good. Crispy! Their burritos are fried so a little different. These old-school taco places are nostalgic and need to stay around. Service is always fast and friendly with reasonable prices. They make their own hot sauce, so it's pretty good. Go if not just for nostalgia.“

“The food here reminds me of home, their chilaquiles were sooooo good, the are more true to Mexican style and their pancakes are omg to die for. The staff is so sweet, they try to make your experience feel like you are home this became easily one of my favorite places to have breakfast at in Whittier“

“Food was delicious! Pollo, Al Pastor, Carnitas, and Asada tacos (names of tacos are pronouns) were fantastic. If I had to rate one first place it would be the Carnitas, a very close second was the Al Pastor. The restaurant was busy and bustling, the staff were super friendly. 4 tacos, a 500ml Mexican coke with a large bottled water was about 17 bucks. Great prices. They do not accept cards, so make sure your ATM card is in working order. Mine is a bit old and it took me a few minutes to get it to work. Definitely want to go back here.“

“I discovered this Guatemalan restaurant that by the way opened its doors a few months ago, when I was helping my sister pack for her move to another state, we came to eat a little late but we received a very pleasant surprise, the food is super tasty, the restaurant very clean and the attention is very friendly. The prices are very affordable and the portions are generous.
I have always traveled to Los Angeles for Guatemalan food but there is no longer a need since this restaurant promises. I hope the community gives them their support.“

“It's been a few months since we've been there. My husband doesn't care for it as much as I do. I told him let's please go and I would treat him. I was craving their beef hard shell tacos. They were closed because of July 4th holiday. Apparently, they stayed closed for a couple of days afterwards. He said that is why he feels that they don't stay open long enough for business. If you notice their hours. However, their food and atmosphere is amazing. As well as their service. One time, we ordered for pick up. They were so nice. They threw in extra chips and salsa. Needless to say, I was kinda disappointed that they were closed. Next chance I get, I'm going back. Vrfig“

“Sol 626 is truly special. The menu offers a good variety of dishes, and our server was very knowledgeable about the ingredients and the origins of the recipes. Ambiance and service were exemplary, but the food was the real star of our evening. We tried the salmon, carne asada, and enchiladas with both red and green mole sauces. Each of these plates was perfectly prepared. Such amazing flavors! I also ordered the jamaica agua fresca, and it was delicious and not too sweet. I highly recommend Sol 626.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options would require substitutions.
Parking: Parking lot behind restaurant
Wheelchair accessibility: The parking lot behind the restaurant has accessible parking and a double door entrance to the building level with the parking lot. The front, street side entrance has steps and so is not wheelchair accessible.“

“My husband and I just tried this place tonight and it’s so good! We ordered the revuelta, been and cheese, and plain cheese. They were all full of flavor. Would definitely come again.“

“The food was delicious, but the service left a little to be desired. It took a long time to serve. They didn't bring everything at once. The chilaquiles are supposed to have eggs. I told the waitress, and it took a long time to bring them, when the rest of the food was cold. Also, the chiles toreados, which are supposed to go with the food. Why would I want that when I've finished my meal? It took them more than seven minutes to bring a beer. It would be great if they could see how they could speed up the service. Perhaps that's where I found the most flaws.“

“My favorite brunch spot. I regularly drive here from Pico Rivera just to have their coffee lol. BEST cafe de olla I’ve had from a restaurant. Super friendly and attentive staff and amazing food. My favorite dish is their chilaquiles and adding chorizo, eggs and avocado. Sooo good. Parking is sometimes hard to find only bc this spot is so popular on weekends but there is street parking as well.“

“We rarely dine in, it is usually a take out. Saturday's or Sunday's, we highly recommend their Menudo or Weekday's their 7 Mares , it is delicious and pricing is not bad at all. However, be aware that if you take out then no tortillas will be included.“
“My first visit definitely won’t be my last! Had a fun night drinking with my friends, great music, employees from the bartenders to the security were all friendly but professional. Also lost my wallet there but it was turned in by one of the employees, appreciate their honesty. Highly recommend!“
