“This pub feels like home. From the first time we stopped in we always meet new people and have no problem finding a conversation with the locals or one of the great bartenders. We’ve become regulars ourselves now and rarely miss a week to go stop in for a pint and a meal with our bar friends, new and old. There is also live music in the evenings, but we prefer talking to the patrons.Parking: Several free parking spots in the back, including one handicapped space.“
“I stopped by The Liberties during the week and absolutely amazing. If you’re like me and like a mellow, chill ambience with great drinks and food, this is the spot. Everyone is friendly and the service is top notch. I’m definitely coming back here to hang out.“
“Love this place. Willy and James are the best. Just a laid back local pub with exactly the vibe I’m looking for in a drinking establishment. Not too fancy, not too divey. And they have smithwicks on draft, which is all you should need to know.“
“My go to spot for boston sports. Super friendly staff and fun atmosphere. Love the walls covered in boston memorabilia. Great beer selection and plent of bites and sandwiches to choose from. Nice patio set up in back with many tvs, as well as inside for sports games. Cant go wrong. Swing by and check it “
“This place is my "local" and I'm grateful every time I walk through its dark doors that a place like this not only still exists, but seems to be thriving. The details of its interior are incredible, and well--cared for, from its copper bar and the hundreds and hundreds of paper shamrocks with handwritten names on its ceilings, to its hammered-glass windows, iconic neon sign and actually-vintage bathroom fixtures.Food is damn good for a pub of this sort, with a particularly good chicken sandwich. Good cocktails, especially the house Bobby Burns and the barrelaaged Old Fashioned. They do a proper Guinness pour, and always have cold classics like Harp on tap, too. The crowd is generally pretty low-key: it's a good place to sit and read a book in the early hours, and gets slightly more buzzy around happy hour and on weekend nights, but never too rowdy. Good place to take a small group of friends, or to have a good chat with a friend at the bar, or to take out-of-town guests.Bartenders are chill, exactly the kinds of friendly faces you want to see in a bar like this. Music playlists are hit or miss, sort of a grab bag, but even if the music on a given night isn't great it's always a good vibe. Sometimes they have live performances in a little tent outdoors that was put up during covid. We're lucky to have a local like Tom Bergin's and hope it stays exactly like it is for decades to come.“
“I came here after an assistant director told me about it. After Mother's Day I decided it was time for mother's night. I hit up residuals lone wolfing it. I was quick to befriend a comedian who informed me that the White Russian drinks they make are good. Their prices are extremely reasonable compared to most bars in LA. Tip if you have a residual check for under a dollar you get a free drink. Make some friends with old people. I met a variety of different interesting characters. WARNING: This is a bar where people can actually sing during karaoke.“
“My only complaint is that the atmosphere is too open— big open shared tables instead of couches or booths. And the beer was pricey. But the IRISH TACOS are FIRE!!!!! And our server was very friendly— she made great recommendations.Dietary restrictions: GF friendly!“
“Decent dive bar. Well looked after pool table and the cues are in good shape. They actually have a proper dartboard (none of that digital nonsense ?) so you can play darts ? but bring your own. Beer was good and the crowd were friendly. Cheers to the staff too we had a great crack.“
“Full bar and nice beer selection. Mulligan's had small lines and was a nice spot to pop in for a beer break on our Universal Studios tour. A plus is you could leave with your beer and enjoy while heading to your next location or waiting in the lines for attractions.“
“We went here for for Thanksgiving one year? It was great!! Plenty of Cornish Game Hens. I was rubbing oil on my legs because I liked the way it felt. Then people wanted to touch my hair. Wild night. Gay friendly, there was a big rainbow I noticed hanging up in the bar.“
“This restaurant is great. Good food, good service, and good live music in the evening. We both got The Bird sandwich with Sweet Potato fries and it was so good. I’ve also had the Steak & arugula sandwich and it was great. I highly recommend this place. Both of their LA locations are great.“
“Great bar with a fun, energetic ambiance and friendly service. Very varied music (think Rob Zombie followed by Beach Boys), keeping it fresh and unpredictable. Good selection of beers on tap. Awesome happy hour 5-7pm, half off of everything!“
